A thank you to the Committee for inviting me to judge at their very well run show. I was very happy with my entry in terms of quality & numbers. In many classes the places given could easily change on another day.

GOLDEN RETRIEVERS

P (3,1a) 1. Ashton's : Willowlawn Wyldstyle, 9 month old puppy bitch who had a lovely balanced outline on the stack. Pleasing head, soft expression, good length & reach of neck into well laid back shoulders, straight front, in good bone throughout, level topline & well set on tail, moved true & straight both in front & rear with a good length of stride, excellent presentation and well handled. BP 2. Mason's : Mavistan Rambling Rose through Nosam, 10 month old puppy bitch, pleasing head, good eye set, good muscular neck, ribs deep & well sprung, muscular in hindquarters, well bent stifles, moved okay but not as positive as 1. J (4,1a) 1.Riley's : Lamancha Night Sky Illusion, quality 16 month old dog in fabulous condition, balanced head, well set on neck, dark brown eyes and good eye shape, correct bite, strong neck of good length into excellent well laid back shoulders, straight in front, ribs deep & well sprung, muscular in hindquarters, good second thigh, held a level topline and tailset whilst moving with good rear drive, straight & true in front & rear. 2. Meadow's : Merimoor Blattgold 15 month old dog with pleasing balanced head, good ear & ear sets, good length of muscular neck, forelegs straight with good bone, deep well sprung ribs, well bent stifles, hocks well let down, moved okay. 3. Ashton's : Willowlawn Wyldstyle PG (9,1a) 1. Hammond's : Merimoor Satin Nights lovely 2 year old bitch, super profile when stacked, pretty head with nice dark eyes and expression, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder, good front profile and rear angulations, well boned, ribs deep & well sprung, moved true & straight front & rear with good drive, very well handled. RBOB 2. Shropshire's : Fiveshill Forget Me Not at Goldbloom 22 month old bitch with lovely feminine head and kind expression, good length of muscular neck into strong level topline, ribs deep & well sprung, very strong & muscular in hindquarters with excellent second thigh, well bent stifles, moved true & straight front & rear with reasonable drive. 3. Riley's : Lamancha Night Sky Illusion, not the same dog on the move as in his junior class. O (13,1a) 1. Scholes's : Goldenhicks Crusader for Rossgilde, 5 year old mature dog, balanced and well chiselled head, dark eye & pigmentation, correct scissor bite, strong neck of good length into excellent well laid back shoulders, well off for bone, straight in front, ribs deep & well sprung, powerful muscular hindquarters, hocks well let down, very fluent movement being straight & true front and rear with free easy stride and good drive from rear. Excellent presentation and very well handled. BOB 2. Falconer's : Siatham Winter Snowflake delightful veteran bitch who was clearly enjoying her day out, very balanced throughout, lovely feminine head and eye set, straight in front with good bone, close fitting elbows, deep well sprung ribs, level topline, super hindquarter angulation, moved beautifully and effortlessly around the ring her sidegait showing excellent reach. In super condition. 3. Stokes & Etherington's : Elkarimer's Golden Harlequin Knight (imp aut) JW
