Many thanks to the committee for asking me to judge at their show. I had a really enjoyable day and I would like to thank all the exhibitors for accepting my decisions graciously. Sadly some exhibits had appallingly dirty teeth today.

ROUGH COLLIESJ(1,0) 1 Adams & Carlyon’s DYCOSHEM EMILY MORGAN. 7 mths tri b. Feminine girl with well placed dark eyes giving her a sweet expression. Lovely jet black fitted coat. Good ear placement when she used them. Very unsettled in the sports hall but moved out well once she got going. G(7,2) 1 Merdinian’s AMBARTR MASTER MIND. 3 yrs s/w d. No mistaking he’s a male. Good dentition, slight stop with dark well placed eyes. Correctly placed ears. Good size, make and shape. Well arched neck, deep rib cage and firm topline. Good mover but needs to settle as he was quite a handful for his handler and this pushed his placing down in the later class. 2 Philpin’s TUDORLYN A KIND OF MAGIC. 18 mths tri b. Lovely black fitted coat. Very feminine girl. Nice dark eyes and sweet expression, a little reluctant to use ears today but good placement when she did. Straight front and good angulations leading to super movement.3 Adams & Carlyon’s DYCOSHEM HIGH CHAPARRAL. 7 mths b/m d. This boy needs to settle but he is very keen to please his owner. Lovely colour blue. Well off for bone and going to be a nice dog when he has grown in to himself. O(8,0) 1 Benton & Smith’s BROOKLYNSON EL DORADO. 3 yrs s/w d. Quality dark sable dog with well groomed fitted jacket. Best head and expression of the day which won him this class. Dreamy dark correctly set eyes, masculine wedge shaped head, being picky ears could be a touch tighter. Good, clean dentition. Good reach of neck in to correct shoulder, level topline. A bit fond of his tail at times but a great mover front and rear with strong hind quarters. Very attentive to his handler. BOB 2 Benton’s BROOKLYNSON JANE RUSSELL OF OAKESTELLE. 5 yrs s/w b. Well presented girl, lovely feminine outline and fitted coat. Correct bite, dark eyes, would prefer a slightly sweeter expression. Being a bit mischievous for her handler. Good spring of rib and firm topline. Excellent tail carriage. Good reach and drive. Best mover of the day but preferred the head properties of 1. RBOB. 3 Philpin’s SASSARI SNOW SHIMMER FOR TUDORLYN JW. 4.5 yrs b/m b. Lovely clear blue fitted coat. Well presented. Good ratio of back to height. Well balanced head. Sound mover. Res A Master Mind. VHC Adams & Carlyon’s DYCOSHEM TEXAS ROSE. Much the same properties as her litter sister in the junior class but more settled and showing better for her handler. BP.
