Congratulations to the Lichfield team on running a busy and friendly show. Thought had obviously gone into the judging panel, with a combination of fairly new breed judges and others with more experience. I had an interesting selection of dogs sent through, competition was fairly even, I thought. Having said that I thought the 9 months old Shar Pei, Beashas Boy Begbie was a clear winner. He is still a little loose in front, but I thought his outline and proportions were so correct. He has a lovely head, clean eyes, super ears. Topline is correct for the breed, angulation balanced, coat and tail very typical. Good luck with him. He was also BPIS RBIS went to the very typy Welsh Springer, Don’s Statement to Nylirem. He is v well balanced, outline is good, with lots of soft lines. V hood head, strong neck, uses his rear so v well. RBPIS was the Samoyed, Novaskaya Xander Lefay. Well grown and fairly mature male, who shows v well with the occasional spell of puppy naughtiness. His head is v good with a v typical expression. Well balanced and moderate in angulation, making his an easy mover. Lovely to have a Best Veteran competition. The top spot, just pipping the lovely Pap who had won the veteran stakes was a Schipperke, Komardo’s Crazy Diamond at Roopec. This 13 year old was in amazing form. I thought his silhouette was so typical. He has a v good head, super body and went so v well.

Bull Terrier Puppy ne Junior 1. Diton Devil In Disguise Masc d, in lovely condition. Head is quite good. Super eye. Well set ears. Strong neck. Moderate and balanced in angulation. Well filled chest. Well ribbed. Level topline. Rather proud of his tail. Moved well. BOB Post grad ne Open 1. Spartiate Picasso Quite a heavy d, giving his handler a hard time. Quite a strong head. Enough neck. Well filled front. Turns his feet out and could be better in pastern. Well ribbed. Firm topline. Good rear. Miniature Bull Terrier Open 1. Jenkir Kallisto Well schooled b. Thought she had the best head of these 2. She has dark eyes and a v good expression. Well set ears. Well filled front. Rather long in body. Holds a level topline. Really well muscled. Moved v well. 2. Shacals Sugared Almond Fem b, she too is slightly long. Super eye and expression. Better feet than 1. Level topline. Nice rear. French Bulldog Puppy Nice class of promising pups, all good movers. 1. Kuredeux Ragamuffin Masc d who is compact in body. V good head, square skull, flat between ears. Well placed ears. Good muzzle and nose. Enough neck. Could be better in shoulder. Liked his width of chest. Well bodied. Topline is a bit flat as yet. Nice rear.BOB 2. Calavey’s Fenella at Rischale Fem b. She has a v pleasing head with a nice expression. Liked her eyes and ears. Correct neck. Good with of chest. Well ribbed. Just needs more turn of stifle but moved v well. 3. Bellicose Buckle Up Yvontrae Junior 1. Jacquietus Careless Whisper V fem v with a lovely face, square skull, flat between ears. Correct length of muzzle. V good ears. Correct neck. Good front. Well filled chest. Could be a fraction shorter in loin. Good topline. Quite a nice rear. 2. Boule & Onuba Sir Kaiser Catrelma Masc d. Has a well proportioned head. Well set ears. Would prefer better nostrils. Strong neck. Well laid shoulder. Would like better feet. Well ribbed. Moderate rear. 3. Cargray Mr Bojangles Post grad 1. Rayvonley Anything Goes Fem b, super eye and expression. Ears are ok. Dark eyes. Square in skull. She has a moderate neck. Ok front, feet could be tighter. Well sprung ribs. Arched topline. Couple be a little more positive in hind action. Limit 1. Boule & Onuba Sir Kaiser Catrelma Open 1. Boule & Onuba Rachelle Catrelma Fem b of correct proportions. Square in skull. Dark, expressive eyes. Well set ears. Medium neck. Quite a good front. Well filled chest. Well ribbed. Correct topline. Just needs more turn of stifle and hock. Boston terrier Puppy 1. Vickvally Suspicion Promising baby. He has a good head, well balanced, square in skull. Liked his width of skull. Lovely eye and expression, ears ok. Enough neck. Better in front of these 2. Square outline with a good topline. Moved well. BOB 2. Vickvally Wonders of Love V fem, pleasing head. Good eye and expression, square body. Needs better feet. Could use her ears better. Well angled rear. Junior 1. Vickvally Dance Dance Dance V much a baby who is v raw. She is square in outline. Balanced head, rounded in skull as yet. Feet can improve. Slightly long in loin. Well bent stifle and low hocks. Can firm in movement. Open 1. Donmar Bossy Boots Fem girl, slightly heavy in body. V sound mover. Liked her eye and expression best of these 2. Enough neck. Well filled chest. Balanced angulation. 2. Vickvally’s JJ Barnes Fairly square d. Square, flat skull. Would like better nostrils and expression. String back. Straight front. Underline cuts up. V good rear. Shih Tzu Puppy 1. Daltricia Nanga Parbat Really lovely baby. Super head, good size, rounded skull. Well placed eyes, super expression. Long neck. Straight front. Sturdy body. Can settle in topline. Correct tail. V good rear. Moves out well and full of style. BP, think he is full of quality. 2. Cremefern Dancing On A Dream Promising, fem pup. Not quite as sturdy as 1 and could have a slightly bigger skull. Lengthy neck. Straight front. Well ribbed. Correct tail. Moderate rear. Post grad 1. Kezang Golden Idol Masc d. He has a pleasing head of good size. Well placed, expressive eyes. Slightly more neck would enhance his outline. Well ribbed. Level topline. Moderate rear. Open 1. Daltricia Kwakwali Stylish d who is full of his own importance. V good head, liked the size of his skull. Super eye and expression. Lengthy neck. Well made front. Better width to chest than 2. Well ribbed. Level topline. Good rear. V good profile action. 2. Hongchue Gallant Hero Has a pleasing head, large, dark eyes. Medium neck. Would prefer more width between front legs. Level topline. Well sprung ribs. Angulation balanced. V good tail Import Register Lovely to have a few Coonhounds, obviously these hounds are new to the show ring, more experience will Im sure give better results for some. Junior 1. Quite good out and back and really good in profile. 2. Eureka Blossoming Meadow Slightly older. Coonhound. He has a lengthy head. Eyes a bit deep set. Enough neck. Rather upright in pastern and turns feet out, although they are tight and deep. Well bodied. Firm topline. Good rear. Super profile action. Post grad 1. Cornistor Woody Bavarian mt Hound. V sound moving d, could be slightly more confident. Good skull, could have a stronger muzzle. Correct neck. Well made front, just a little loose in elbow. Super body. Firm topline. Well bodied. Accurate mover and a v light profile action. 2. Ch Starzak Solid Gold Ez Action SCWT of v good type. Pigment not what it once might have been. Well balanced, typical head. Strong neck. Balanced angulation. Correct coat. 3. Ch Ailort Highlander at Parvodene Open Stakes V good class. 1. Foxearth Fandella Super Smooth Collie. She has a lovely outline and is a good mover. Clean head, slight stop, correct planes. Correct neck. V good front. Chest to elbow. Well ribbed back. Super rear. Thought her a lovely quality b, must surely gain her title. 2. Hawkesmill Karamel Super Dandie, not quite in full coat. Super head with a lovely eye and expression. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Well ribbed back. Topline is spot on. Well made rear.
