JUNIOR (4) 

A pleasing class of youngsters 

1st Whiting’s LOCKSHEATH PRINCESS TIANA 

Attractive in head, with good stop and dark eye. Good neck length and shoulders well sloped.  Good width to loin and firm well developed hindquarters with strong hocks. Moved steadily and true. Good coat colour just needs the furnishings to come through. 

 

2nd Sandiford & Sutherland’s HARBINGER'S HIGHLAND TREASURE (IMP CAN) 

A very stylish young male that presents a balanced outline when stacked. 

Good front assembly with elbows tight in. Liked his body length and good rear angulation. A free mover with good rear drive. Preferred the head proportions of my winner. 

3rd Reid’s DIERSETT IRRIDIUM 

 

POST-GRADUATE (4) 

1st Whiting’s LOCKSHEATH TRUE BALOO 

A nicely made dog throughout. Very pleasing in head and expression. Good front, well ribbed, correct topline and good width to loin. Still has time to mature and gain more coat. 

2nd Woodhouse’s BIRCHGARTH BILL BAYLEY AT HALBADIER 

A well balanced male with well proportioned head, has good neck length, deep in brisket and well angulated behind. Preferred the topline of my winner when stacked. Moved out steadily and true. 

3rd Ellington’s BENBUIE THORNBIRD 

 

OPEN (5) 

1st Sandiford & Lewis’s BENBUIE ROCK ON TO HERNWOOD JW 

An upstanding dog that has excellent bone and substance. Skull well shaped, ample stop and has dark eye. Strong straight front, with well sprung ribcage. Well turned stifles and strong hocks which gave him free ground covering movement. Shown in tip top coat and condition. A very worthy BOB. 

 

2nd Burke’s ECAMEADOW THE-EXPORER 

Another quality mature male with good balance and correct body proportions when stacked. Typical head and expression. Good forechest and well muscled hindquarters. Abundance of coat of good colour. Not as positive on the move as my winner today. Res BOB 

 

3rd Dixon’s ECAMEADOW SAFFRON WITH WALLBANK 

      

IRISH RED/WHITE SETTER 

PUPPY (1) 

1st Sherlock’s ALANEA SPECIAL ONE 

A very raw youngster, but has good body proportions. Pleasing in head with dark eye. Straight front and matching rear angles. Very unsettled on the move. BP 

 

JUNIOR (1) 

1st Mapletoft’s ROANJORA TANQUERAY 

A well made young male with a pleasing head, and has overall balance and good shape. Muscular hindquarters and correct tail set. Playing his handler up today and very difficult to assess him on the move, a lot more settled in his later class where he moved soundly. 

 

POST-GRADUATE (2) 

1st Hart’s IANBRO MYSTIC QUARTZ SHINES AT GILLIEGRAE JW 

Really pretty and feminine in head with lovely expression. Built on quite fine lines and would prefer more of her. Shoulders well laid, straight front and well angulated stifles. Moved soundly. 

 

2nd Hargreaves’ IANBRO KAMINO SAPPHIRE TO FORGEWAY 

Litter sister to my winner, and again I would prefer more bone and substance. 

A pleasing and pretty bitch with sweet head and dark eye, correct earset. Moved freely. 

 

OPEN (3) 

I had two top quality bitches in this class and splitting hairs over my placings. 

1st Tait’s SH CH LOVENJOEL SLEEPING BEAUTY 

A very attractive bitch from all angles. Feminine head of correct proportions and good pigmentation. Excellent front assembly, very firm body and strong over loin, Shown in excellent coat and condition with lovely clear markings. A joy to watch her free sound movement, she just flowed around the ring. BOB and pleased to see her take Group 3. 

 

2nd Hart’s GILLIEGRAE SWIFT N'CHIC 

Built on a larger frame than my winner and presents a very balanced outline when stacked. Pleasing in head with adequate stop. Good front and shoulders, ribs well sprung and strongly made throughout with good oval bone. Powerful hindquarters and good hocks. Moved soundly. Shown in hard muscular condition. Res BOB

1st Hodgkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’s CHANDERHILL BIT OF A PICKLE CJW19. 

A promising youngster who is very pleasing in head with flat skull. Short  strong neck with shoulders well placed and good width to chest. Strong bone and correct body length to height ratio and well constructed throughout. A very positive and sound mover at one with handler. BOB 

 

2nd Parish’s  CHANDERHILL ALFREDO CJW 19 

Another quality youngster of good size with a rich brown coat. Very pleasing in head with correct planes. Moderate neck length and good shoulders and straight front. Moderate hindquarters, thighs well muscled and stood on strong hocks. Preferred the front movement of my winner. 

 

3rd Nicholls-Ward PABIAGA'S VALERIE CON BUMBLERIDGE 

 

POST- GRAD (2) 

1st CHANDERHILL ALFREDO CJW  (repeat) 

 

2nd Hodgkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’ PABIAGAS CUPID TO CHANDERHILL 

Just 6 months but took everything in his stride. Good head proportions with adequate stop. Well laid shoulders with elbows tight in and adequate rear angulation. A very happy and confident mover for a youngster. BP

2nd Nicholls-Wards’ VALENTISIMO'S FAUNA PARA BUMBLERIDGE JW 

A pleasing bitch with desired head, flattish skull and good eye colour. Muscular short neck, good level topline and strong well developed rear quarters. Preferred the overall balance of my winner. Res BOB

PUPPY (2) 

1st Gill’s TESTEVERDE ENRICO CARUSO DEL JOCAGIL 

Really liked his head with kind expression and correct eye shape. Strong through neck, shoulders well placed with blades apart, and has good depth to chest. Ample rear angulation with good width to thigh. Stands on round compact feet. He moved out and back steadily with free movement. A quality youngster but at that very raw stage. Stood alone today but would do well in company BP & Res BOB 

 

POST-GRADUATE (4) 

1st Pugh’s SUNSANNA ALL THAT JAZZ AT GELLINI 

Very attractive head with correct planes, good eye colour and has a lovely kind expression. Strong through neck and shoulders well laid back. She has the correct topline and muscular over loin. Won the class on free movement. 

 

2nd Thompson’s TESTAVERDE BACK FOR GOOD 

Masculine head with good eye shape and colour. Strong bone and legs and deep in chest. Well sprung ribs, gentle slope to croup with correct tailset. Good turn of stifle. Covered the ground well on the move. 

  

LIMIT (3) 

1st Littlemore’s AURELIA THE EXPLORER OF KRISMOOR JW 

Found her very pleasing in head, correct planes and good muzzle depth. Strong front assembly with good upperarm. When stacked she presented a correct breed outline with square appearance. Adequate rear angulation and well muscled thighs. Moved out well holding a correct topline. A clear BOB today. 

 

2nd Firth’s HOCHOPEPA LETS GO CRAZY WITH SOPHALBA 

Well off for bone and substance. Strong neck, has good straight front with good large round feet. Deep in chest and well muscled hindquarters. Moved out well but not in the best of coat today.
