FIELD SPANIEL 

JUNIOR (2) 

1st Moss’s FECIMUS CHASE THE DREAM TO EWTOR JW 

A very smart young liver dog, correct head proportions. Strong neck, very sound front assembly and chest of good depth for age. Firm topline, well ribbed back and good turn of stifle.  Nowhere near his full potential, no doubt will have a bright future. Presented in tip top gleaming coat and condition. Moved soundly to take BOB. 

 

2nd Smith’s FECIMUS LIVING THE DREAM AT FLYENPYG 

Litter sister to my winner. Loved her head and expression, with correct eye shape. Shoulders well laid and presents a balanced picture when stacked with good rear angulation. Very raw at this stage, coat needs to develop, moved out well with strong rear drive 

 

POST- GRAD (3) 

1st Shipton’s WINTERBOURNE TRUE LOVE FOR MISHULES (IMP SWE) 

A pleasing black bitch, correct head proportions and lovely expression. Well placed shoulders and firmly built throughout and strong over loin. Good rear angulation, presented in lovely coat and condition, preferred the front action of my BOB.

1st Smith’s EWTOR AFFINITY FOR FLYENPYG JW Sh CM 

Feminine head of good proportions, correct shoulder lay. She has good flat bone and is firmly built. Very sound rear quarters and strong hocks. She moved soundly with correct tail carriage. Just preferred the coat and finish of the youngster in the challenge. 

 

2nd McVitty’s SH CH SONNETEND FAITH 

A very well constructed liver bitch that presents a well balanced outline. Lovely head and expression with dark eye. Strongly made through neck, with correct forehand. Moved well holding her topline well. Presented in good coat. 

 

3rd Sanderson’s NL CH THANDIWE ARTHUR SIXPENCE

PUPPY (1) 

1st Short’s  FERNDEL FIRE GEM AT TOFTWOOD 

Pleasing feminine head with well-defined stop. Good front assembly, well bodied up for a youngster, ribs well sprung, correct rear angulation and adequate bone. Good coat colour, moved steadily for a youngster BP 

  

POST- GRAD (2) 

1st Knowles’ MENSTONIA MAKE A WISH JW 

Two quality youngsters in this class and little to choose between them.  Correct head proportions with pleasing eye colour. Presents a balanced and smart outline when stacked.  Good length to neck and strong topline. Excellent coat colour and moved well to take BOB  

 

2nd  Knowles’ MENSTONIA MINSTREL JW 

A very attractive young dog. Beautiful head and expression good body proportions, well ribbed and strong hindquarters. Well off for bone and good tight feet. Splitting hairs in the class, just not as settled on the move as the bitch today.

SPECIAL YEARLING (1) 

1st Hodkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’s FERRYLANDS HUNTING HIGH AND LOW FOR CHANDERHILL (Imp) 

Stood alone today, but a quality well constructed puppy of super type who would do well in company. Correct head shape, lovely expression. Good angulation, with correct rib length, strong firm body. A very confident and precise mover. BP and BOB. Should have a bright future. Please to see her take BPIS 3. Well done. 

 

OPEN (1) 

1st Hodkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’s INT/IR SH CH BURTA MARINERO TESORO AT CHANDERHILL Sh CM (Imp) 

A pleasing bitch, typical head with flattish skull and good eye colour. Well ribbed back and strong well developed rear quarters. Needs to tighten in under-carriage, coat needs to return. An accurate steady mover.
