Judge Jane Morgan -Tytorro

Firstly I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at this well run show, held in a great venue . Lots of space and good sized rings . Also I want to thank my stewards Steve and Catherine for their help and making sure ring 5 ran smoothly . Lastly a huge thank you to all who entered their dogs under me and graciously accepted my decisions .

Bullmastiff

Puppy 1/0a

1st Eagle’s Suenomina Romulus Augustus . 10 month old brindle boy at his and his owners first ever show . Both did a good job and he was a great dog to go over and watch move . Going through a gangly phase but all will settle in time . Good square head with well placed ears , dark round eye , good underjaw and good dentition . Strong neck, well laid shoulder and straight front . Good spring of rib, little longer cast but still filling out . Moved well .Best Puppy

1st Bratchie and Baillie’s Essenceera Turn the Magic On . Just 12 months old, fawn boy . A fabulous head , great ears , broad skull , dark eye and mask . Well developed muzzle and cheeks filling nicely . He really will have a wonderful head when finished . Muscular neck , well laid shoulder and good upper arm and straight front leading to very neat feet . Already a really good forechest . Deep brisket and muscular loin . Short back , powerful rear , tail just a tiny bit high . He really moved with drive and was sound going away and coming toward . Pleased to award him Best Of Breed .

2nd Buchanan’s Senntino Super Duke . 17 month old brindle boy . Another sound dog . Lovely brindle marking , good head still developing , Although older than 1 I feel he still has a bit of maturing to do , a little longer cast , there is still more to come with this boy .

1st Todd and Smith’s Pleats Surprise Attack at Delarhia . 2 and a half year old red dog . I have met this boy before and have seen him more on form than he was today . Top end for size, large square head quite wrinkled , broad muzzle , strong neck , seemed a little flat though so wasn’t showing himself to his best , low on pasterns and that seemed to follow through which is a real shame as I have seen him looking proud and upright in the past .

Boston Terrier

Puppy 3 /0a

1st Mason’s Aprika California Dreamin’ . 10 month old brindle and white bitch with lighter brindle marking which really caught the eye . A very well made little girl , compact and well balanced . Very feminine head with a beautiful , inquisitive look . Free from wrinkle as it should be , well defined stop , clear dark eye , good pigment and great dentition . Well placed and sized ears used all the time . Elegant neck leading to shoulder that led to a super , straight front and very tidy feet .Good width of chest , well sprung rib,short back with just a slight curve to tail set . Not roached as she had a lovely topline which she held beautifully on the move .Good turn of stifle, lovely angulation on rear and she moved away with drive ,but with a graceful drive . Lovely to watch going and coming back and she was handled extremely well getting the very best out of her . Pleased to award her Best of Breed and Best Puppy .

2nd Jefferson Smith’s Lovewell Born to be My Baby . 7 and a half month old brindle boy . Darker brindling and in lovely coat . Still a baby and a little shy of showing himself to his best , but he has some fabulous qualities . Lovely expression , good , well balanced little boy . He will do well .

French Bulldog

1st Mather’s Starblubulls Fernando . 9 month old fawn dog . Top end for size . Good square head , a little wrinkled, well placed ears , would prefer a darker eye . Good width of muzzle and good dentition ,well arched neck , good forechest already , straight front . Longer cast , good rear angulation and tail present . Once settled , moved well .Best Puppy .

1st Jenning’s Cossys Rag n Bone Man . 16 month old brindle boy . Beautiful brindle marking and in great condition . Such a wonderful head on this boy with the most fantastic expression . Lovely dark , round eye , well defined stop and broad muzzle . Good layback and wide underjaw . Great dentition and good nostril,. He looks at you as if he is telling you something , quite comical . Lovely well arched neck and well laid shoulder . He is slightly longer cast but that doesn’t deter from the whole package . He moves so soundly from all angles of watching . Greta spring of rib and a fantastic underline . Well muscled thigh and nicely let down hock . Great little dog who I was pleased to award Best of Breed . He then went and took Utility group 1 and then later on Reserve Best in Show .

2nd Humphries’ Crackatari Princess Ebony Mac . 16 month old darker brindle bitch with a beautiful presence about her . Very feminine head , kind dark eye , well used ears , nicely padded cheeks and good underjaw . If she would only stop being so finnicky with her food and hold her weight she would be taking higher placings a lot . Deep chest, good front quarters and a great topline and lovely angulated rear . Moves soundly and gracefully . Handled well .

1st Webb’s Chifido Figgy Pudding .

The minute this puppy entered the ring I knew she was one to watch . Such a well made little girl with a fantastic head, correct ears , very good , clear eye and super muzzle , black nose, dark flews and great dentition . Perfect amount of wrinkling all over . Good neck , again correct amount of wrinkling . Compact and short coupled , lovely straight front and good forechest . Neat underline and strong rear with good angulation , well let down hock and good feet . Tail held really well standing and on the move . She was a treat to watch moving , pleased to award Best of Breed and Best Puppy and she was also Utility puppy group 4 ..

1st Fewkes Jatinker Make a Memory .17 month old bitch in good coat . Very similar to the puppy in overall breed type , just sad that she came across the puppy in the challenge as she was a very well made girl with a fantastic head, so close to pup . Moved and handled really well .Lovely to go over and a great temperament .

2nd Rodrigues Pontshannaon I Did It All with Islewin .Almost 2 year old bitch . Another lovely girl , just a little flatter on the day . I hear she has had some time out from showing , I hope she finds a spark and enjoys her time in the ring as she had before . Well put together girl , handled well .

1st Webb and Denby Chifido Summer Breeze .Just over 2 year old bitch , a little out of coat , but a happy girl pleased to be in the ring . Lovely head , good ears and eyes , Handled and moved well .

2nd Fewkes Coatakinti Stolen Kisses at Jatinker . 5 year old girl who sadly didn’t want me to go over her . She was well presented by her young handler who paid attention to her dog at all times . She moved soundlessly , just a shame she wasn’t feeling her best on the day .
