Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Junior (3,1)

1. Miss Turner - On The Hill Two At Tidestaff

Brindle and white bitch who is coming up a year old, exuberant and full of confidence. She has a pleasing head, showing good balance, well defined stop and a dark round mischievous eye. Muscular neck leading to a straight front, showing good width. She holds a firm level topline. Shown in good muscle tone. Moving soundly when she put her mind to it – BP & Puppy Group 4

2. Mr O’Sullivan - Leebee’s Luscious

What a sweetie, at only 6 months old, this red & white bitch has a pleasing outline for one so young. She just needing to grow in confidence to show off her potential. Everything is just right for her age. Her head is clean with a good stop and well placed ears. Holding a firm topline both stood and on the move. Well boned limbs. Moving with drive

Graduate (8,1)

1. Mrs Rose - Engladian Gran Torino

Powerhouse of a dog, this black brindle & White dog at 20 months old certainly has strength, masculinity and substance. Wouldn’t want any more of him, but he has a presence about him, oozing quiet confidence and charisma. Strong head, well placed ears, good stop, large teeth with a scissor bite. Strong muscular neck flowing into a firm level topline. He has depth to the brisket and the desire width, body well developed. Well boned limbs onto tight feet. Liked his true movement, being parallel and driving – BOB & Group 4

2. Mrs Waters - Ashstock Aurora

22 month old fawn bitch, liked the overall shape and make of this bitch. She did take a while to settle, but once there showed herself off. She has a balanced head shape, with good width to the back skull and short muzzle. Dark round eyes, with a nice expression. Clean straight front, with good width and depth. Enough strength to the body, firm level topline. Moving out well

3. Mr Marslans - Thunder of Olympus

Open (4,1)

1. Mr Terry - Mishdars Star Above Me

Black brindle & White bitch, 5 years old, she has strength and femininity combined. She is solid and muscular without being overdone. Good width to her head, defined stop, clean lips, dark round eyes. Muscular neck flowing into a firm and well held topline. She has substance and depth to the ribcage, showing good width and well boned, pleasing hindquarters. Moving out with drive and holding her outline, not quite the precision of BOB today, RBOB

2. Miss Turner - Tidestaff Mystical Magic

Shown in fine fettle, 9 year old black brindle and white bitch. Liked her overall shape and size, she has good body proportions. Today not holding her topline as well as winner. Pleasing head, lovely dark round eye, strength to the muzzle and well placed ears. She has good depth, is short coupled with a good spring to the ribs. Striding out well for her age

1. Miss & Mrs Webber - Lilyphanie Great Showman

And what a little showman this 14 month old Mustard dog is, quite a character. Thought him to be full of quality and had lovely body lines. Masculine head of good proportions, with good strength to the back skull, lovely dark round eyes with such a gentle expression. Body shows the correct topline, with well sprung ribs, well boned limbs. Shown in good coat and condition - RBOB

1. Sleight & Dixon - Mishahda Where It All Began

A delightful 2 year old pepper bitch, thought her to be full of quality and showed herself off with confidence. She presented a pleasing picture on the stack, with the correct silhouette. Super head, with strength and balance. She has the most soulful eyes and kindest of expressions. Good length of neck, deep through the body, with well boned limbs. Powerful hindquarters which she used on the move, showing good width behind. Beautifully presented, a little short on topcoat today – BOB & Group 3

Terrier Group

1. England & Burrage - Ch Ashleyheath’s Black Thunder ShCM ShCEx (Cesky)

Such a well balanced dog, with strength and substance but a hint of elegance, as nothing is overdone. His silhouette when stood shows a typical and impressive outline. Shown in superb coat and condition, and a very sound driving mover

2. Miss Witmond - Jacksboks Unique At Tilser (Imp Rus) (JRT)

What a cracking youngster, at 18 months old he lets his presence be known. He has quality in abundance and seems to know it! So very balanced in outline, pleasing head, with a keen and alert expression. Well developed through the body. At one with his handler, moving true fore and aft

Lovely bitch from any angle, so much to like. What a fabulous head and expression showing strength yet feminine. She is well proportioned and has the correct balance. Moving with precision and drive

4. Mrs Rose - Engladian Gran Torino (SBT)

A stallion of a dog, strong and muscular, broad masculine head, good depth and width to the body, firm level topline. Showing parallel movement from the rear with power and drive

Terrier Puppy Group

1. Miss Witmond - Tiltser Busy Being Fabulous (Welsh)

A smashing youngster, only 6 months old and her first show, seeming like an old pro! She has such lovely balance and is clean and sound throughout. Alert and mischievous expression, compact body. Moving true

2. Mr & Mrs Jones - Perfect Love Di Sutri At Laserna (Imp Ita) (JRT)

Another promising youngster, 10 month old bitch, who oozes quality. She presents a pleasing picture on the stack, eye catching yet functional. Positive and true on the move

3. Mrs Holmes - Bimandi’s Banana Smoothie (Border)

So naughty but nice! 11 month old bitch confident and full of spirit. She has a lovely otter head, well placed ears and dark eyes. Body easily spanned, with good length to the ribcage. Shown with a harsh coat and good pelt. A little distracted today on the move, but she was sound and true

4. Miss Turner - On The Hill Two At Tidestaff (SBT)

She has strength yet feminine. Good width to the back skull, well placed ears, inquisitive dark round eyes. Well developed through the body holding a firm topline. Not fully cooperating with her handler on the move, but could see she was true and driving in her action

Puppy (1,0)

1. Ms O’Kelly - Lainnireach Original Tonic

Pleasing shape to this 11 month old bitch, when stood she is shapely with good substance for her size. Just needing to gain a little more confidence to show herself off to advantage. She has a balance head, with good depth, lovely dark tight eyes. Her body is developing nicely, with good fill in of forechest. She has well boned limbs and well arched toes. Once settled moved with enthusiasm and drive – BP & RBOB

1. Sandiford & Sutherland - Harbinger’s Highland Treasure (Imp Can)

13 month old juvenile delinquent, happy and full of beans coming into the ring. Maturing well with an impressive and smart outline when stood. He has the desired substance, but not overdone. Developing well all through with good depth and lovely bone. Holding a firm topline both stood and on the move. Well angulated fore and aft, and long hip to hock. Showing good drive from the rear. – BOB

Puppy (2,1)

1. Miss Anstead - Riverwatcher Kila

Just shy of a year old, well up to size, but all in proportion. He has a pleasing outline when stood, is keen and alert to all going on around him. Liked his wedge shaped head, with toning eye. Strong neck flowing well into a firmly held topline. Well boned limbs onto tight feet. Shown in good coat and condition. A little bouncy on the move, but settled to show his movement to be true – BP

1. Ms & Miss Newson - Tivalake Let’s Misbehave JW

Cracking young dog, at 19 months showing all the virtues and breed type. He has an impressive outline, with a lovely flow from nose to tail. He has the desired clean cut head, showing a good wedge shape, with an intelligent and willing to please expression. He is well developed through the body, with a good spring of rib. Liked his hindquarters which have a good width and bend to the stifle. Moving out with the typical jaunty action - RBOB

2. Mrs Smith - Tivalake Anything Goes At Tollisty JW

Litter sister to the winner, and very much peas in a pod. So much to like about her, she has all the qualities of her brother in a feminine package. She is so balanced in her outline and nothing out of place. Feminine wedge shaped head, lovely almond eyes, with a confident and alert expression. Good depth to the body, firm topline, corresponding angulation. Good driving movement, just today not the precision of her brother

3. Miss Anstead - Riverwatcher Kila

Post Graduate (1,0)

1. Mrs Taylor - Wakaduze Wiyaka

Feminine 2 year old bitch, liked her overall shape, size and balance, with nothing overdone. She is fit and workmanlike. Her head is appealing, with a gentle but alert expression. Liked her depth and spring of rib. A little soft in topline today. The hindquarters show good width and muscle tone. Moving out true and at one with her handler.

1. Miss Strevens - Sh Ch Erikachen Conaire At Tollisty JW ShCM ShCEx

Super dog, so smart and never stopped showing which showed all his virtues. He stands out for his overall size and balance. Quality in abundance and has a natural presence. Standing fore square showing off his outline. Masculine wedge shaped head, almond toning eye. His strong neck flowing well into a firm topline and correct tail set. Deep through the body and well boned limbs. A pleasure to watch on the move, driving but with that typical spring in his step – BOB, delighted to see him take Group 3

2. Miss Anstead - Sh Ch/Lux/NL/Int Ch Riverwatcher Atka CW16

Another that I really liked, he has super balance and construction and oozes breed type. For me today seemed to be carrying a tad too much weight, which made him look a little heavy, shame as I really liked him. So typy and full of quality. Lovely masculine head, good wedge shape, kind almond eye. Super depth and development of forechest. Well boned limbs and tight feet. Shown with a fabulous double coat. Sound on the move

1. Mr Wallington - Wynrita School Daze (Golden)

Balanced 9 month old dog, who has a pleasing outline when stood. He has a lovely head and expression, so soft and gentle, with good length to the foreface, and those dark melting eyes. Well developed through the body for his age, with well boned limbs. Moving out showing good drive

2. Miss Horn - Droveborough’s Smooth Mover (Pointer)

Shapely 11 month old O/W dog. An upstanding dog with a curvy and balanced outline. Up to size, but clean and graceful. Lovely masculine head, with plenty of work in it, a kind and gentle expression. Good depth and fill in of forechest, straight front onto well arched feet. Holding a firm topline both stood and, on the move, with a good tail set and carriage

3. Mr & Mrs Kinchella - Honeymill Elder Warrior (Golden)

Junior (11)

1. Ms Roberts - Fanmatrix Midnight’s Dream (Pointer)

13 month old B&W dog, liked his overall substance yet still having elegance. He has lovely curvy body lines with good balance and muscle tone. Pleasing masculine head, lovely dark eye, well defined stop. Good depth to the brisket and well boned limbs. Firm topline and bee sting tail. Putting his hindquarter to good use to drive around the ring

2. Mrs Jones - Gwendariff Gooseberry Fool (Irish Setter)

Much to like on this feminine 13 month old bitch. Liked her outline when stood, very feminine and shapely. Such a delightful head and expression. Her long neck flowing into her well held topline. Enough depth to the ribcage, well boned and straight forelegs. Body well ribbed back with nicely bent stifles. Moving at one with her handler

3. Welch/Maber/Hazeltine - Sharnphilly Toggi With Hookwood (Pointer)

Novice (4)

1. Miss Braine - Grenetrest Tulip taf (GSP)

A refined solid liver bitch of a nice size, and shapely in profile. Elegant all through with a graceful flow. An alert and kind expression. Good length of neck, enough depth, a firm and level topline and nicely angulated hindquarters. Coming alive on the move, showing a true driving action in the rear

2. Mrs & Miss Flatman - Kenaiteen Love Note (GSP)

15 month old L&W bitch, of a different stamp to winner, much more substance all through on a larger frame. Head clean cut with a good length of foreface, a little light in eye. Good length of neck, ribs reaching down to the elbow. Well boned limbs and nice tight feet. Stifles well bent and in good muscle tone. A free mover, just not the precision of winner

Post Graduate (15)

1. Miss Bougen - Gwendariff Hot Ticket JW (Irish Setter)

Elegant and graceful 20 month old bitch. So feminine in outline with flowing lines. She has such a kind and gentle expression from those dark almond eyes. Her long, slightly arched neck flows seamlessly into her topline. Liked her development of forechest and depth. Well boned limbs and nicely angulated fore and aft. Shown with a rich chestnut coat which gleamed. Moving out well and in harmony with her handler

2. Mrs Beasley - Wansleydale Amaretto (English Setter)

Another who is stylish and elegant, 20 month old blue belton & tan bitch. Liked her balance and proportions when stacked. She has a lovely quality head, good length to foreface and those dark oval eyes. Clean neck of good length flowing into her well held topline. Brisket down to the elbow and ribs carried well back. Liked her hindquarters as they have good width to the thigh. Moving well with a high head carriage

3. Mrs Cooper - Isfryn Lady Grey Of Gilstonia (WSS)

Open (15)

1. Ellis & Pilkington - Shannara Total Eclipse ShCM (WSS)

Superb mature 4 year old dog. He is oh so smart and has quality in abundance. So lovely to go over, as he flows from nose to tail. Loved his balance and construction. He has strength and substance yet is elegant and workmanlike. Masculine and gentle, such a lovely expression. Pleasing depth through the body, with strong limbs. Good development in the hindquarters, which enabled him to power around the ring with style and precision. Turned out to perfection and well handled - BAV

2. Miss Braine - Grenetrest Canterbury Bell JW (GSP)

Solid and well built 21 month old dog. He is pleasing to the eye and stands over plenty of ground. A happy and outgoing dog with a willing to please nature. He has a handsome and balanced head, with good length and clean cut, with a kind and gentle expression. His neck is of a good length with the slight arch, good depth to the brisket and development of forechest. Firmly held topline, a fraction longer in loin. Well muscled hindquarters, moving with ease with correct footfall
