A keen and alert 11 month old black dog, showing his fun nature. He is fairly square in outline. Masculine head, dark mischievous oval shaped eye, well placed and carried ears. Good depth to the body with a moderate spring of rib. Hindquarters show a very moderate stifle. Moved with enthusiasm and a light step but a little close behind today. Good dense crisp coat – Best Puppy IR

Liked this 5 year old dog, he is sturdy and square in outline and showed himself off to advantage. Handsome head, with good length to the foreface, kind dark eye, and well placed and used ears. His muscular slightly arched neck flowing well into a firm level topline. Good depth to the ribcage and moderate hindquarters. Shown in full coat, with a dense crisp texture. Moving out well with a proud head carriage and light short strides – Best IR

9 year old black brindle dog, looking in fine fettle and standing four square, showing good overall balance. Good width to the back skull, neat rose ears, well developed cheeks and lovely dark eyes and pigmentation. Strong neck and a firm level topline. Good width in front and well boned limbs. A little heavier all through as you would expect for his age, but in good muscletone. Pleasing hindquarters with well bent stifles. Moving out true in all directions, but feeling the heat a little today - BOB

Loved this 2 year old up for anything dog, on his toes and alert. Such a handsome and balanced dog so typical and sound in construction. Liked his racy outline, yet having substance, so pleasing on the stack. Masculine head piece, with good length to the skull, flat and narrow. Well placed ears and dark mischievous eyes. His clean neck flowing seamlessly into a firmly held topline with a well set on tail. Depth to the ribcage and nicely boned limbs. Moving true and parallel when he stopped playing the fool. Put down in super condition and immaculately presented – BOB & Gp1, and on another day would go all the way!

2. I Hardman - Bonosue Painted Lady

Full of beans 4 year old bitch, quite the character. A pleasing bitch but not the balance of outline of the winner. She has a clean head, dark inquisitive eyes, well placed ears. She is clean through the neck, with good depth to the brisket. Not as firm in topline today. Well set on and carried tail. Shown in good coat. Moving out well and with enthusiasm.

Lovely 10 month old bitch, thought her to be of a nice overall size, with pleasing body proportions. She has a good otter head, short in foreface with strength, good bite and strong teeth. Dark intelligent eyes giving her a kind, thoughtful yet alert expression. Moderate in neck, deep in brisket and easily spanned. Holding a firm topline with a good pelt and shown with a double coat of correct texture. Moving freely – BP & Puppy Gp 1 & RBPIS

2. J Fawcett - Carrock Curiosity

Another lovely 10 month bitch, found her most endearing with so much to like. Of a different type to winner, but well proportioned and workmanlike. Feminine head, with good width to the backskull and strong short muzzle, dark eye with a keen expression. Clean straight front with correct ribcage, which was easy to span, longer in the loin, firm topline with a well carried tail. Well handled and presented

1. A Johnson - Crosby Dark Duchess

Fell for this 7 year old bitch, such a character and showing herself off to advantage. Liked her overall size, shape and workmanlike appearance. She is feminine all through, and when stood she is pleasing in outline. She has a lovely otter head, with a keen dark eye, well placed ears, and strong short muzzle. Good depth to the brisket, which was spannable, straight front onto tight feet. Strong yet racy hindquarters. Shown with a good pelt and of a harsh texture. Moving out with ease and soundly – BOB & GP2

2. A Johnson - Blue Lake Of Cumbria

Litter brother to winner and similar remarks apply. He is workmanlike but with substance and masculinity, nothing is overdone. Lovely otter head, dark eye, and well placed ears. Pleasing depth to the body, easily spanned. Holding a firm topline with a well set on tail. Liked his hindquarters, having good width but racy. Shown in good coat and pelt. Moving true in all directions - RBOB

Her head is well proportioned, with the skull being moderate and flat, lovely dark almond eyes and a keen expression. A good length of neck and firm topline, depth to the ribcage and foreleg well under the body. Moderate hindquarters. Moving well in profile a little close behind. – BOB & Gp4 and Puppy Gp2

This 22 month old mustard dog was such a character, you couldn’t help but fall for his charms. When stood he has the typical outline and construction, and he is right for size and balance. He has a lovely head, strong with a nicely domed backskull and strength to the foreface. And those eyes, dark, full and round giving such a gentle and thoughtful expression. His body is well developed with the typical topline and brisket well let down. Strong hindquarters. Striding out on the move – BOB & Gp3

Hold her topline with a nice rise over the loin, both standing and on the move. Lovely strong hindquarters with a good width of thigh. Free flowing in her movement. Pushed her kennel mate hard for BP

Another classy and elegant 10 month old bitch, with much to admire. She has lovely lines throughout. Pleasing feminine head, kind dark eye, neat ears. Her slightly arched neck flowing into a well held topline. Good depth to the brisket and spring to the ribs with a nice underline. Well turned stifle and in good muscle tone. Moving out cleanly

What a cracking puppy, at 10 months old this blue fawn dog has strength which is beautifully combined with elegance. When stood he has a lovely flow from nose to tail. Masculine head, being long and lean, kind oval eye and well placed rose ears. He is well developed through the body with a deep ribcage and well filled in. Nothing exaggerated, gently curving underline and rise over the loin. Strong and powerful hindquarters, muscular and well bent with the hocks well let down. 12 month old red fawn bitch, elegant with clean flowing lines. Pleasing head shape, dark eye, and kind expression. Clean slightly arched neck, enough depth to the brisket, not quite the return of upper arm of winner. Gentle underline with good tuck up. Well muscled hindquarters. Moving out true

Liked her overall balance and lines. Flowing from nose to tail in a series of graceful curves. Appealing head, she has a keen yet gentle expression. She is well developed through the body with depth to the brisket and nicely sprung ribs, underline showing a good tuck up, and the rise over the loin. Strong hindquarters with the stifles well bent and in super condition. Moving at one with her handler with a free and positive action. Pleased to award her BOB & Gp1 & BIS

Another shapely 2 year old blue brindle bitch. Liked her outline in profile, she is of a nice size and flowing lines. Not quite the condition of winner today, but having good balance and style. Feminine head, with a dark kind eye, good length of neck, deep in the brisket, well sprung ribs, pleasing rear end with a good bend of stifle. Moving true

Loved the size and strength of this 14 month old dog, he certainly has an impressive outline. Upstanding and balanced. Giving his handler a bit of a hard time, but there is so much to appreciate. Masculine head of good length, dark oval eye with a hint of mischief! His long neck flowing well into his well placed shoulders. Super depth and development to the ribcage, strong hindquarters with a good width of thigh and bend of stifle. Being a juvenile delinquent on the move, but you could see he has an easy flowing gait, much more settled in the group – BAVNSC & Gp3
