Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at this fantastic venue, I hope they don't price themselves out of the market as it could be a wonderful asset for this area. Such a treat to have big rings to allow the dogs to move and it many cases today it was movement that clinched the places.

AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD

SY (1) 1. Milligan & Marley's Allmark Saphhire With Alfsden. Thirteen month blue merle bitch with the clearest of colour. Head needs to broaden a tad, she has a good front with a level topline and sufficient angulation. Shown in nice coat but a bit unsettled and not making the best of herself. RBOB.

L (1) 1. Chorley's Trijem Return Of The Slayer. Two year old pretty blue merle, head could be stronger, holds a level topline but could do with a bit more rear angulation. Moving ok once into a decent stride.

O (2,1) 1. Milligan & Marley's Jotars Lies and Deceit With Alfsden. Three year old blue merle male with a broad, balanced head and dark eyes, although I find the ears a tad low set. Very good forechest with a level topline, good rear angulation and well off for bone. Moved well to take BOB.

BELGIAN SHEPHERD DOG (TERVEUREN)

P (1) 1. Monk's Bergeau Forever Starlight. Eleven month old well grown red male with a lovely head. Sufficient bone and good overall balance. Well placed ears which he used to advantage, good topline and rear angulation, shown in nice coat. Rather exhuberant on the move and tends to stand wide in front if allowed. RBOB, BP and PG2.

SY (1) Repeat

O (2,1) 1. Elliott's Sulanevaeh Raul Thane. Three year old red male with a lovely head. He has now matured into a very striking dog, with enough bone and excellent balance throughout. He holds his topline on the move and covers the ground well. Not in his best jacket today. BOB.

SHETLAND SHEEPDOG

P (5) 1. Sorockyj & Haine's Mohnesee Share The Dream. Nine months sable and white bitch with a pretty head and dark eyes, well placed ears which she used to advantage. Underjaw needs to develop. Well balanced all through and coat coming in nicely. Moved out with an easy action. BP and PG4. 2. Bastiani & John's Lirren Showtime Joins Auberswell NAF TAF. Seven months tricolour dog with a balanced head, well used ears. Slightly longer cast, well angulated and in good coat. 3. Norris' Sandyvalley Basil Brush.

SY (3) 1. Mohnesee Share The Dream. 2. Winfield's Aventurine Bohemia Classic Joins Oakcroft (IMP CZE). Twelve months sable and white dog with well placed ears and dark eyes, a good front and topline, in good coat but not making the most of himself. 3. Robson's Kyleburn Dream Lover.

L (3) 1. Hateley's Mohnesee Sweet Dreams JW. Twenty months sable and white bitch who owned the ring and was full of the joys of spring. Dark eyes, well used ears, excellent front and well balanced throughout holding her topline. Coat in lovely condition and moving like a dream. BOB and G4. 2. Winfield's Carolelen Classic Star By Oakcroft JW. Two years sable and white bitch with a lovely head and expression, balanced outline and in good coat, moved well. RBOB. 3. Norris' Clanavon Love In A Mist.

AVNSC PASTORAL

SY (2) 1. Shrieves' Winarose Wanderin Star CW'19 (Catalan Sheepdog). Thirteen months fawn male developing along all the right lines. Excellent head proportions with dark eyes, strong neck into a good topline, well balanced all through and a strong rear end. A free, easy mover. . BAVNSC and G3. 2. Wilenczyc's Nellinka Christmas Khaos At Kashiba (GSD). Twenty-one month masculine black and gold male, very promising but rather rangy at present, good head with well used ears, well off for bone, good reach of neck and sufficient angulation both ends. Tends to pace at slower speeds, super temperament and not taking things very seriously. RBAVNSC.

AV PASTORAL

P (5,2) 1. Hartfield's Moshanta May Contain Nuts (Border Collie). Six month black and white baby with a super expression, darkest of eyes, lovely head shape, excellent proportions throughout and movement that belied the young age. 2. Cartwright's Fy Nghalon Orcord At Applejem (OES), Seven months blue bitch , well grown and balanced in head and body, good outline with a super coat, just needs move enthusiasm on the move. 3. Westbrook's Essanjay Prince Of Darkness (Rough Collie).

SY (2,1) 1. Allmark Saphhire With Alfsden.

L (1) 1. Appleby's Windcard Ace At Nanaimo (Cardigan Corgi). Three year old blue merle with a broad head, well used ears, good forechest, decent length of back and well angulated front and rear, well muscled and moved ok.

O (2, 1). 1. Tansley's Bilyara Ice Maiden (Border Collie). Six year old black and white bitch with a lovely head and expression, well used ears, good reach of neck, level topline and very well angulated, moving with a super side gait and shown in beautiful coat.

V (6,4) 1. Robert's Ice Maiden Smile Yoshi And Us ShCM (Samoyed). Eleven year old bitch who headed the best class of the day. Stunning in outline with the typical Sammie smile, darkest of eyes with excellent pigment, balanced body with excellent angulation, all covered in a coat of superb texture and moving like a dog half her age. 2. Tansley's Bilyara River Ranch ShCM (Border Collie), Ten year old black and white male, another oldie showing the young ones how to do it. Masculine head, good reach of neck into level topline, well angulated and covering the ground with ease. Hard to split these two and a privilege to judge them.

PASTORAL GROUP 1. Reilly's Ch/Ir Ch Lisjovia Boris Bear At Darmaror JC ShCM ShCEx CW'19 (Pyrenean Mountain Dog). 3 year old male. The dog that keeps on giving! Its always a pleasure to see this boy appear in your ring – he carries such a stunning presence with his super head, balanced outline and ease of movement. No surprise to hear he took Best in Show. 2. Jones' Quemerford Take Two (Old English Sheepdog). Fifteen months blue male, turned out to perfection, balanced all though and with such typical movement. 3. Shrieve's Winarose Wanderin Star CW'19 (Catalan Sheepdog). Pulled out all the stops to take this place. 4. Hateley's Mohnesee Sweet Dreams JW (Shetland Sheepdog) holding her own in this company and well deserved her place.

PASTORAL PUPPY GROUP 1. Frosdick's Mistycor Apollo Back To Black For Kalwig (IMP RUS) (Cardigan Corgi). Stylish, seven months brindle boy with such a super head and expression, excellent front and topline, well angulated and balanced throughout. 2. Monk's Bergeau Forever Starlight (BSD Terveuren). Eleven months and more settled in here. 3. Johnson's Nikara Sweet Dreams (Samoyed) Nine months very pretty head and balanced outline, moving with ease. 4. Sorockyj & Haines' Mohnesee Share The Dream (Shetland Sheepdog). Nine months and showing like a trooper.

MEMBERS' OPEN STAKES (12,5) 1. Shepherd's Citycroft Sundae With Oxana JW ShCM Whippet). Three year old fawn and white, stunning outline with superb angulation, moved with ease. 2. Cherry's Lynces Whatever You Want ShCM (Tibetan Terrier). Five year old black and white with a jaunty action, pretty head and expression and in lovely coat. 3. Roberts & Spearing's Linkenlees Lyric ShCM, ShCEx (Beagle) Three year old tri bitch so balanced and never putting a foot wrong. R. Franklin's Nageem Haribo At Haccasbrooke ShCM, ShCEx (Rottweiler). Four year old male who stood out for his balance and substance. VHC. Eddery's Adoram Shady Lady (Pug). Three year old fawn bitch compact and steady mover.
