Thank you to Andrew Stewart and his hard working committee for inviting me to judge at this well run and friendly Christmas Show. It was a wonderful entry numerically and my stewards worked tirelessly. Thank you. Scotland has some high class Toy Dogs. 

Pomeranian Junior Good class to start the day with. 1. Gilluley Altina’s Ivory. Quality young male. Nice for size and overall proportions. Lovely foxy expression. Good Pigmentation. Correct fine bone and neat cat like feet. Short and compact. Correct coat. Moved true. 2. Misteriya Del Esto Tarantino (IMP RUS). Orange of good type. Super head and expression. Correct front assembly, bone and feet. Compact body. Good hindquarters. Moved ok. 3. Kazpom So Sassie. 

Pomeranian PG. 1. Sylvids Lord Of Holyrood. Sable dog. Pleasing overall size and proportions. Typical head and expression. Could be slightly tidier in front. Lovely bone and feet. Correct coat. Moved ok. 2. Darade Boston Shining Star. Another nice male. Correct shape. Typical foxy expression. Short and compact. Not quite the hind angulation of the first placed male. 

Pomeranian Open 1. Toybox Charlotte Rousse. Elegant, extrovert bitch of quality. Lovely make and shape. Excellent head and typical expression Good eye and ear placement. Short neck into excellent shoulders. Good front. Well ribbed up. Good hind angulation. In full coat, with outer coat of correct texture. Moved very well in both directions. BOB. 2. Darade Paco Rabanne With Sylvids. Another nice one with much to like. Good overall shape and size. Pleasing head and expression. Moved well but just a fraction wide in front, which cost him a place. 3. Pakovs Silver Lady. 

Pug PG. 1. Rhodenash Dream A Long With Anuli. Very pleasing 18 month old bitch of good type. Excellent shape being square and cobby. Lovely round head and correct expression, with lovely large dark eye. Good wide nostrils. Excellent pigmentation. Excellent body. Good bone and decent feet. Pleasing tail set. In good hard condition. Won this class on her overall shape. 2. Yorlanders Amethyst At Shandalar. Another pleasing feminine bitch of quality. Good head and expression. Decent bone and feet. Not quite the body of the winner and to be hypercritical I would like her a fraction stronger in underjaw. Moved OK. 3. Zobears Dawn Mission

Pug Open. 1. Rhodenash Stella Dreams Of Eivisah. Nice bitch with very pleasing head piece. Nice overall shape. Good neck and shoulder. Pleasing front. Correct topline. Good hindquarters with correct turn of stifle which was lacking throughout the entry. 2. Lil Miss Greedy At Shandalar. Very pleasing head piece with lovely round soft eye. Good front. Well off for bone. Lovely tail set and beautiful double curl. 3. Zobears Abouth The Base 

Affenpinscher Open. Pleasure to be able to go over quite a number of quality Affenpinschers in one class. Difficult class in many respects to sort out. 1. Rangimara Lucy Lockett I thought her quite a lovely bitch. Such quality in head with correct stop and turn up. Correct eye. Lovely small ear carried well. Overall good for size. Short and well ribbed up. Enough hind angulation yet not overdone for an affenpinscher. In good hard condition with the best of jacket texture. Correct gait.. 2. Ch Darkle Persius At Ingerdorm. Not belittled by standing second on this occasion. Upstanding male and many of the same attributes of 1. Another with a very typical typy head and expression. Good overall shape. Correct front. Well balanced with short back. Good tail set. Up to size. Moved ok. If I was to be slightly critical I would prefer a slightly harsher coat. 3. Ch Ingerdorm Rebus JW. Third but not disgraced, his years are starting to show. Please see critique as he won an excellent veteran class later in the day. 

ETT Limit 1. Witchstone Tarot’s Sun. Stood alone but not disgraced. Very nice ETT male of super quality. Lovely size and shape. Pleasing head of good length with correct eye of good colour and placement. Correct high set ear of correct shape. Pleasing length of neck into well placed shoulders. Good front. Correct topline. Well demarcated colour. In Good hard condition and movement appropriate for the breed. 

ETT Open 1. Ch Witchstone Place Your Bets At Capledare. Really stood out for me as soon as he entered the ring. Exudes quality, Has a really lovely overall silhouette. Super head with correct proportions, pleasing eye and ear. Super length of neck into the best of shoulders. Corrcet straight front. Super topline and tail set. Good colour. In the best of condition. Moved well. BOB and later in the day Group 3. 2. Witchstone Black Hawk At Amalric JW. Good make and shape. Nice for size. Pleasing head an expression. Good bone and feet. Moved well. To be a little hypercritical I would like the colour a little more defined. 

Japanese Chin Junior 1. Littletigers I send With Love To Sleepyhollow. What a lovely prospect this young chin bitch is. Still very raw but you can see that all the essentials are there for a beautiful mature specimen who should do very well. Lovely typical headpiece with correct breadth and contour of skull, good short. muzzle with lovely cushioning. Super large dark eye with that typical astonished chin look. Body proportions are all there, she just needs to mature and grow into herself. Lovely bone and foot shape. Good hindquarters with correct angulation. Moved very well for her handler. Will watch this one. 2. Bellflows Lunar Eclipse. Pleasing bitch with lovely head and expression. Good body with correct proportions. Good fine bone and feet. Another one that needs some time. Moved well but needs to settle in front. 

Japanese Chin Limit 1. Yama Dreammaker At Ingerdorm. Smart quality male. Pleasing head and expression. Lovley neck and shoulder. Correct front assembly. Good bone and feet. Correct body proportions and good width of chest. Well angulated hindquarters. In super condition with lovely furnishings. Moved well. 2. Bellflows Wee Tosh. Different in type to 1. Quality head with typical expression. Good neck and shoulder. Correct topline and tail set. To be critical I would prefer a fraction more length of leg. Moved well.

Japanese Chin Open 1. Sleepyhollow Baroque At Anjuli. Beautiful chin of quality, Excels in head with beautiful typical expression. Lovely front and feet, good compact body with lovely topline and tail set. Good hind angulation. Moved well in both directions. In lovely coat and finish. BOB and later Group 2. 2. Seafar Top Hat And Tails At Ingerdorm. Another lovely Specimen. Many of the attributes of 1 apply here too. Would prefer if being hypercritical for him to be a fraction more breadth of skull to complete the picture. Moved very well in both directions. 3. Bellflows Emperor Mon Jo  

Miniature Pinscher PG. 1. Sangre Caliente Liticia (IMP UKR). Quality B/T. Presents a lovely outline, nice and square with correct topline. Good length of neck with lovely typical arch into good shoulder placement. Pleasing front and bone. Well developed, muscular HQ with nice bend of stifle. Good cat like feet. Moved very well. Shame she didn’t use her ears to better advantage. 2. Allanabru Kylo Ren. Pleasing size and overall proportions. Good bone feet. Not quite the head and eye of the first placed dog. Over-angulated behind but moved well in both directions. 

Miniature Pinscher Open. 1. Allanabru Rose Tico. Pretty bitch of quality. Won this class on her super head piece and ear placement and carriage. Good overall shape. Good bone. Square with good topline. Moved ok although could be tidier in front. 2. Allanabru Prancing ‘N’ Prada. B/T Nice sized bitch with much to like. Pleasing head and ear. Good neck and shoulder. Correct topline. OK hindquarters. Moved ok. 3. Kilmuir Crazy For You. 

Chihuahua (long Coat) Junior 1. Kirlasidh Quintessential. Really pleasing l/c bitch, with heaps of attitude. Lovely for overall type with correct apple dome skull, super eye, correct ear size and placement. Good short muzzle yet without loss of strength. Good body proportions. Nice front assembly. Good hindquarters with enough angulation. Moved very well. 2 Kentyen Faith. Another nice one. Very mature for age. Pleasing head and expression. Good front and bone with nice small dainty foot. Well sprung ribs, with deep brisket. Level topline. Not the best of tailsets. 3. Garnox Tickety Boo. 

Chihuahua (long Coat) PG. 1. Kirlasidh Angel On A Roll. Nice four year old, with pleasing head and expression. Good body proportions. Well sprung. Good topline. Moved well. 2. Kirlasidh Angel On Ice. Similar in type to 1. Nice head proportions although would prefer a slightly less prominent eye. Nice body. Good hindquarters of correct angulation. Moved well. Shown to advantage by her young handler. 3. Bramerita Here’s Trouble At Charabri. 

Chihuahua (long Coat) Open. 1. Jotolemar Dangerous Times With Dacatelo. Lovely cream of excellent quality, Excels in skull, super expression, and with large well angled ear placement. Good overall body proportions. In excellent good hard condition. Level topline which is held on the move. Nice tail set. Moved well. BOB. 2. Kirlasidh Taste Of Honey. Another nice one from this kennel with much to like. Nice head. Good Body. Moved well. Just preferred the overall finish of 1. 3. Coltham Kindhearted With Lynruce. 

Chinese Crested PG.1. Bryelis Baldrick. Pretty six-month old dog. Really lovely head and expression. Lovely lean cheek. Good length of foreface. Pleasing shape and set of ear. Nice overall shape although a little narrow through at this stage. Ok for bone moved well. 2. Elfallons Little Dragon. Another pleasing dog with much to like. Good overall proportions. Pleasing head and expression. Good bone and feet. Correct from assembly. Correct topline and tail set. Moved ok. Could have annexed further awards if handled to advantage. 3. Bryelis Strike A Pose . 

Chinese Crested Open.1. Myvallo Inclined To Dance At Elfallons. ShChM. Quality Crested bitch with much to admire. Nice head although would prefer a fraction less cheek. Good front. Correct topline and hindquarters. Moved very well. BOB. 2. Bryelis Belle ‘O’ The Ball. I really loved this bitch as soon as she entered the ring. She is of lovely size, make and shape. Super head and expression. Good front and foot shape. Chest rather broad and deep yet retaining her femininity. Hairless. Moved well. I was rather disappointed that today she decided not to help her handler. 3. Baojin Secret Agent ShChM . 

Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) Junior .1 Muirfauld Diamond Doll. Pretty bitch with pleasing head of correct shape with desired well-rounded skull, lean with short yet strength of muzzle. Nice large eye correctly placed. Good neck and shoulder. Level topline. Good bone. Correct tail length and carriage, retained on the move. Good brisk sound action. Won her on her maturity. 2. Pippa Des Etoiles D’artemis Avec Silverchi (IMP FRA). Raw bitch who needs time to mature into her frame. Very pleasing head of correct shape and proportion. Good neck and shoulder, just a little tubular throughout at the moment. Moved well. 

Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) PG.1 Caircaladain Chandani. Another pleasing S/C. Quality in head and expression. Good bone and feet. Pleasing level topline but would prefer a better tail set, which detracted from the overall picture. Moved very well. 2. Silverchi Sassanach. Pretty bitch. Nice size and shape, moved well. 

Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) Open.1 Silverchi Catch The Rainbow. Pretty young bitch with super head and expression. Correct ear placement. Good front assembly. Correct bone and feet. Well-angulated hindquarters. Correct tail set and carriage. Moved ok. Would prefer slightly stronger topline. 2. Hughgra One Shining Moment. Quality male. Pleasing head and expression. Correct slightly arched neck into good shoulders. Nice topline. Decent hindquarters. Just preferred the tail set of 1. Moved well. 3. Endless Love Vivian Secret Of Angels at Silverchi

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel PG. 1. Kinvar Jumping Jack Flash At Eversbabes. Blenheim. Up to size. Has the most melting of expression due to his correct skull shape, eye, and ear placement. Excellent cushioning, good neck and shoulder. Good bone. Slightly longer cast than ideal, but good topline. Correct tail set and good hindquarters. Moved ok but would like him a little tidier in front. 2. Bonniemadra Ricochet To Linetive. Tri male of quality. Very pleasing head with super expression. Good neck and shoulder. Nice overall size and prportions. Good topline. Would prefer a better tail set. Didn’t really put much in on the move today, which cost him higher honours. 

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Open. Not the easiest class to judge. 1. Braemarra Taylor At Linetive. Good overall shape although a fraction too big for me overall. Typical head and expression. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders. Short-coupled with good spring of rib. Level topline. Moved well and carried tail typically on the move. 2. Willowheart Louis. Decent dog. Ok in head. Good neck and shoulder. Good front and bone. Good hind angulation. A little long in loin, and not the best of toplines. Moved ok.3. Bellflows Anastasia. 

Bichon Open.1. Jaimens Sol Sistere. Male bichon of good size and pleasing overall proportions. Good dark eyes with correct haloes. Would prefer a slightly shorter muzzle to complete the picture. Good neck and shoulder. OK front assembly. Good topline with nice broad loin. Good pigmentation. Moved well. 

Maltese Open.1. SnowKai’s Super Mario. What a really super 9 month pup who is a real prospect. This young male has a super head and expression with beautiful pigmentation. He has good breadth of muzzle, which is of correct length. Pleasing front. Lovely bone. Excellent topline, which is held on the move. Excellent tail set. Good coat texture Moved very well. Later in the day was second in a large AV puppy class beaten only by a World Class Peke. I will watch this young 2. Delcost Designer Girl. Another nice Maltese of good size. Nice overall size and balance. Well put down. A little longer in muzzle and not quite the overall head piece of the first placed dog. Moved well. 

Coton De Tulear Open.1. Happypaws Carefree Sh CM Sh CEx. Alone, but nevertheless a really lovely Coton. Nice for size. Correct head proportions and overall shape with correct topline and well muscled loin. Good tail set and carriage. Coat of correct texture. Moved well. 

Havanese Open.1. Dianaia’s Beautiful Day. Typy bitch. Head of good proportions with correct broad, slightly rounded skull, and good strength of muzzle. Pleasing eye colour and shape with gentle expression. Correct in length to height ratio. Good level topline, with correct slight rise over loin. Enough tuck-up. Excellent high set tail, carried well. Moved OK. Not the most animated here today but won here on her overall type. 2. Janabear Dance O’ The Knights. Pleasing dog. Nice make and shape. Nice head proportions. Correct front, good bone and feet. Level topline and correctly carried tail. Moved ok. 3. Pandaprint Casanova. 

Pekingese Open. What a super class to be faced with at this level. The first three dogs being out of the top drawer and of high quality. It is presumptuous of a B list to judge to suggest that all three could attain their crown with fair play. The first two will I am sure change place on regular occasion. 1 Yakee The Contrary Mary. Quality Pekingese bitch. Has the most super head of correct shape and with strength yet without being too deep. Correct flat broad skull, good round clear eye, Slight not overdone single wrinkle with open nostril. Good strength of under jaw. Super pigment and framed with lovely feathering. Nice tight elbows and good overall front assembly. Broad chest and well slung. Short level topline. Good well-angulated hindquarters. Moved typically. Finished off in coat of excellent texture and which was not excessive. Picked up heavy. 2. Yakee The Wizard Of Oz. In essence the same critique could be said for Contrary Mary’s kennel mate. Another super male from the top drawer. Super head and expression with head of lovely proportions, non-excessive wrinkle, and expressive eye. Really lovely body in good hard condition to go over. Movement excellent and with animation. For me today I just preferred the overall expression of Mary, this coupled with her being that fraction shorter, I placed her over The Wizard to BOB. Later in the day I was happy to award Mary the group, which was not without quality and then delighted to watch her go onto RBIS later in the day. The Wizard on this occasion being BOS. I saw this male later in AV Puppy which he won beating a Maltese and a chin who in my opinion if they continue to mature will both be unlucky to attain their crown. Later BPIS under Jane Lilley. 3. Yakee The Teenage Witch. Completed a trio of quality specimens. 

Papillon Open. Huge class to sort out. Not so easy as quite a variance in type and maturity. 1. Caraideas The Firebird. Won this class on his maturity and overall finish. Pretty head of correct proportions, completed by lovely large well fringed ears which are well set at the correct angle. Shoulders well developed and sloping. Deep enough in chest. Good front with, fine bone. Elbows well placed. Correct elength in relation to height. Good hindquarters. Moved well. 2. Pamhurst Capriccio. Super 9 and a half month puppy who pushed hard in this class. Super head and expression. Dainty overall. Good head and body proportions. Needs to fractionally shorten. When he develops his furnishings will 3. Volpecula The Early Bird. 

AV Toy NSC Open. 1. Limartine Reddy N willing. Australian Silky. Good for type. Nice overall shape although needs to body up. Good coat of good colour. Moved well. 

Toy Group.1. Yakee The Contrary Mary. 2 Sleepyhollow Baroque At Anjuli. 3. Ch Witchstone Place Your Bets At Capledare. 4. Rhodenash Stella Dreams Of Eivisah. AV Toy Special Puppy. 1. AV Toy Veteran. A lovely class to judge. 1. Ch Ingerdorm Rebus. 9 year old male who performed well in the breed despite his age. Has the most typical of heads. Good ear size and set. Good overall shape with a well retained topline despite his years. Moved so well in both directions. Super coat. 2. Ch Paklovs I’m A Celebrity. Close decision to 1. Beautiful Pomeranian. Excels in head, with typical foxy expression. Good shape. Super bone and feet. Short backed with compact body, well ribbed up. Correct depth of chest. Excellent hindquarters. Correct coat. Moved well despite his age. Close decision. 3. Tids Christmas Gift.
