Sporting Terrier Association Of Yorkshire

Kerry Blue Terrier Open 1. Lemracdream Aegon. Quality two year old male. Stood alone but certainly not disgraced. Super type. Lovely overall outline. Excellent head and eye with correct sized ears and set. Good bone. Correct front assembly and sufficient length of neck into well placed shoulders, level topline, which was held on the move and enough behind the tail. Good coat texture and colour on the turn.

Norfolk Terrier Puppy. Lovely class to judge. A pleasure to have two high quality young Norfolks both of which are excellent prospects and should do well with maturity. 1. Watercroft Stolen Moment. Lovely quality bitch. Correct breath of skull with correct ear placement and size. Keen expression. Good strong neck into well placed shoulders. Well off for bone. Short backed and well sprung. Good hindquarters. Moved well 2. Belleville L’il Black Number. Different type. Many of the attributes of 1 apply here too. As aforementioned a super prospect for the future. Has such a lovely head piece which is feminine without being in any way weak. Super expression. Good overall proportions. Lovely outline, which is held on the move. Super well-muscled hindquarters. Needs to settle a fraction in front and get her new jacket. I am sure when mature these two will battle out for top honours. Junior. 1. Watercroft Calling Card. Quality red with much to like Quality head of good proportions, if I was to be super critical I would like a slightly smaller ear but this does not detract from a lovely headpiece. Super neck into excellent shoulders. Excellent front assembly. Good bone and feet. Level topline. Good angulation, and well muscled hindquarters, with well let down hocks which gives him good drive from behind. Moved well. PG. Belleville Back to Black. Super black and Tan bitch. So well made and quality throughout. Very pleasing head. Correct front assembly. Good neck and shoulder. Short level topline, with plenty behind the tail. In excellent condition and good harsh jacket . Moved well in both directions. RBOB. 2. Kinsridge Top Marks To Watercroft. Another quality exhibit. Pleasing head proportions. Good eye. Correct ear size although I would prefer them a little higher set. Good front. Good neck and shoulder. Longer cast than the winner. Moved well. Open. 1. Ch. Watercroft Gold Dust. Beautiful Norfolk bitch of ideal size. Super head and expression; distinctly feminine yet without weakness. Correct length of neck and shoulder placement. Short and with well sprung rib. Excellent hindquarters. So sound on the move in both directions. In excellent hard condition and the best of jackets which is so well put down as one would expect. Very deserving of her crown. 2. Belleville Crumble Topping. Another smart quality exhibit. Lovely overall size and shape. Pleasing head and expression. Correct front. Good topline. Well-angulated hindquarters which are well muscled. Would prefer a better tail.

Manchester Terrier PG. 1. Harliboo Pretty In Pink ay Ysabelkid. Nice shape. Pleasing head shape but unfortunately not using her ears correctly. Moved ok. A little on the large size for me 2. Joemario Moonlit Shadow. Veteran male. Pleasing size. Pleasing head proportions. Losing his topline with age. Moved ok. Open. 1. Digelsa Double Top. Super Typy Manchester. Lovely long head with super eye and good small well carried ear. Lovely long neck with desired slight arch into the best of shoulders. Good body with correct arch. Good hindquarters. Not so happy on the table but on the floor comes into himself and is pleasing to watch move. BOB.

Jack Russell Terrier. PG. 1. Hunter Hawk William Wallace. T/W. Pleasing overall proportions. Excels in head and eye although to be hypercritical I would like a slightly smaller ear to complete the picture. Lovely neck and shoulder and good topline. Excellent hindquarters. Correct tail set. Good bone although could have tighter feet. Moved well in both directions. Open. Hunter Hawk Hope For Twinan ShCM ShCEx (imp NOR). T/W. Super bitch who was in fact my BOB at Southern Counties last year and whom I made runner up dog of the year at National Terrier. My opinion has not changed and my comments still apply. Excellent head with such typical expression. Corect length of neck into excellent shoulders. Level topline, which is held on the move. Good bone and feet. Moved ok. BOB.

Scottish Terrier Junior. 1. Evingbriar Scotch Thistle. Nice youngster. Smart overall shape. Good length of head and of correct width, certainly not too narrow. Good keen eye. Typical Scottie front assembly and ‘well slung’. Excellent bone. Super hindquarters used to effect on the move. Moved well. PG1. Our Black Jack. Pleasing shape. Head a fraction strong for me. Strong neck into good shoulders. Nice front and feet. Good bone. Excellent rib and strong topline with strong short loin. Moved Ok In good condition and jacket. Open. 1. Liroda Midnight Kiss At Eveingbriar. 5 year old quality bitch. Super make and shape. Lovely length of head, with good ear and excellent eye. Typical front. Excellent substance. Correct neck and shoulder, Good topline and tail set. Moved well with drive. Well put down in excellent jacket.

Skye Terrier. Open. 1. Knowlespring Jackson. Quality silver dog. Lovely overall silhouette. Certainly fits the description ‘long, low and level’. Lovely head piece, strong and of correct proportions. Correct ear placement, shape and size. Excellent fringing. OK in front. Well ribbed. Strong hindquarters. Moved well although was a little lack lustre today.
