COCKER SPANIEL

PUPPY (7,2A)

1st Todd & Rahman Zheridons Chinese Whisper. Two lovely puppies who I am sure could change places another day. Compact girl who presented a pleasing outline. Feminine head and expression with good dark eye, excellent flow of neck into well laid back shoulders, correct return of upper arm, deep chested, cat feet, moved straight and true in all directions.

2nd MacFarlane Cooleela Cressida – Similar remarks apply to my first, but the winner was just more settled on the move today. Again, a compact bitch, straight front, good body proportions, level topline, correct bend of stifle.

3rd McLean & Scotland Zheridons China Crisis

GRADUATE (9, 3A)

1st Todd & Rahman’s Grandtully Gabrielle –10 months bitch whom I have judged before and I still like. She is a joy to go over. Presented a pleasing outline, compact balanced bitch, correct head proportions, her neck flows into correct front quarters, straight front leading to cat feet, deep chested, level topline which was held on the move. Correct rear angles. This bitch just flowed round the ring effortlessly on the move. BOB & BP

2nd Ewan’s Craigdean Willie Nelson – Masculine head and expression, correct length of neck, good body proportions, level topline. correct rear assembly. Gave his handler a hard time.

3rd Cleland’s Belltrees Kandyman

POST GRADUATE (7, 4A)

1st McCabe Bell’s Grandtully Eliza Doolittle – Won this class with ease. Beautiful feminine head and expression, good neck that flowed into shoulders, deep chested, well ribbed, well rounded rear quarters which she used on the move. Moved with purpose and drive once settled. RBOB

2nd Maclean’s Lynwater Symphony – Orange Roan bitch, would prefer a squarer muzzle, good lay back of shoulder, well ribbed, level topline held on the move. Moved soundly.

3rd Nuttall’s Carmelfair Ma Cherie of Rosecourt

LIMIT (2, 1A)

1st Ewan’s Craigdean Pandora– Feminine head and expression, deep chested, level topline, correct tailset, moved soundly.

2nd MacLean’s Tipperlin Traviata – Smaller framed bitch and I would prefer better skull proportions. Deep chested, short loin, Moved soundly.

OPEN (5, 0A)

1st Neatham’s Shoogsea Peach Streisand – 7 year old compact bitch, good flow of neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, good bone, correct rear angles. Moved happily with a merry action.

2nd Nuttall’s Carmelfair Calabrianna – Feminine head and expression, compact bitch, would prefer more length in leg to complete the picture. Moved soundly.

3rd Scotland’s Lynlochan Aurora

ENGLISH SPRINGER SPANIEL

PUPPY (2, 1A)

1st Ganarin’s Berkenbar Giovanni - Appealing head and expression with good skull proportions. Well sprung ribs. Correct bend of stifle, good topline and tailset. Needs to tighten up on the move but is only a youngster. RBOB & BP

POST GRADUATE (2, 1A)

1st Graham’s Peasblossom Valentino – Masculine head and expression, straight front leading to compact feet, correct layback of shoulder, presented in good coat. A handful for the owner on the move.

OPEN (2, 2A)

1st Lauchlan’s Lochbride Thunderstruck – Dog who was well presented well in good coat. Pleasing head and expression, deep chested, well sprung ribs, correct topline and tailset. Moved with purposed and drive which won him this class and BOB

2nd Rose’s Westaway Dream Angus of Rosannoch (Imp Norw) – This dog was not in his best coat today. For me the head was too much. Correct tailset and topline. Moved soundly but has no strength in the rear quarters.

JUNIOR (1, 0A)

1st Mole & Knox’s Florence Our Loyal Welsh at Edincrawl (Imp Fin) – Although this bitch was a little unsure once settled she was fine for me to go over. 10 months old who presents a pleasing outline. Pleasing head and expression, deep chested, well bent stifle. On moving she comes into her own. Needs time to mature. BP

1st Martin & Dyer’s Islanza Royale Among Tylwth - Balanced shape and outline, good length of neck into well laid back shoulders. Deep chested. Correct topline. Straight front. Good rear end. Strode out well with purpose and drive. BOB

2nd Mole & Knox’s Tammany Crawhall at Edincraw – Pleasing head and expression. Good bone. Not in the best of coats and just did not want to move today in the class but when called in for RBOB moved better. RBOB

CLUMBER SPANIEL

1st Hynd’s Tweedsmuir Serenade – Feminine bitch with a pleasing head and expression. Present a lovely outline and shape. Straight front with good bone, leading to round large feet, correct front and rear quarters, deep chested, long body. Moved well in all directions and with purpose. BOB.

1st Menzies & Henderson’s Navadin Ualan at Vrackie – Dog with masculine head and expression, good bone, ribs well sprung, good front and rear angles.Once this dog settled I could go over him. Moved well.

POINTER

PUPPY (2, 1A)

1st Jamieson, MacAra & Blackburn-Bennett’s Kanix Peri Peri with Glenfinnan – Nearly 10 months old dog who presented a pleasing outline, Masculine head and expression, deep chested, straight front with good oval bone leading to well arched toes, correct length of neck into well laid back shoulders with correct return of upper arm, correct topline. Moved so well in all directions for one so young. Pleased to award him BOB & BP

SPECIAL YEARLING (2,0A)

1st Gerrard’s Carmandine Count on Me – Have judged this dog recently and my opinion of him has not altered. He once again presented a pleasing picture. Masculine head and alert expression with excellent pigmentation, good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chest, straight front with correct bone leading to oval well arched feet, short coupled. Moved well from all directions. RBOB

2nd Radcliffe’s Sniperay Smitton – Bitch that needs time to come together and muscle up. Straight front leading to tight arched feet. Moved soundly.

GRADUATE (4,0A)

1st Gerrand & Galloway’s Sharnphilly Santorelli With Carmandine JW - This time it was his day. Masculine head and expression, neck flowed into well laid back shoulders, correct front and rear quarters, deep chest. Moved with purpose and drive.

2nd Scotland-Turner’s Luneville Diamond Dust – Feminine bitch who is finer in bone, deep chested, well muscled rear quarters which she used to her advantage on the move. Move soundly.

3rd Wallace’s Sonstraal Only One Wish

OPEN (5,1A)

1st Gerrard’s Hookwood Showpiece at Carmandine – I like this dog a lot and have previously done him well but today it was the youngster’s day. Masculine well chiselled head and correct expression with excellent pigmentation, Correct front and rear assembly, straight front with correct oval bone leading to well arched feet, deep chested, well ribbed up, short in loin, well muscled rear quarters, correct tailset. Moved well with reach and drive in all directions.

2nd Gerrard’s Carmandine Call My Bluff – Again one I have judged before. Feminine head and expression, long clean neck into well laid back shoulders, good depth of brisket, tight feet, moved soundly.

3rd Radcliffe’s Sniperay Star Turn

HUNGARIAN VIZSLA

PUPPY (3, 0A)

1st Parker & Murray’s Menta of Skycroft (Imp Hun) – Feminine head and expression, correct length of neck into well laid back shoulders, good spring of spring of rib, short in back, correct front assembly. Her movement was more together than 2nd.

2nd McDonald’s Donuries Storm – Once again feminine head and expression, straight front leading to tight feet, correct bend of stifle, correct topline and tailset, moved soundly.

POST GRADUATE (3, 1A)

1st McDonald, Belton & Bahlo’s Valodi Yellow Rose of Texas at Donurie (Imp USA) – Won this class on her outline, pleasing head and expression, well sprung ribs, straight front leading to tight feet. Correct topline and tailset. Moved soundly.

2nd Parker & Murray’s Bonbrandee Lucky Penny – Feminine head and expression. Needs to mature up. Level topline and tailset. Moved soundly.

OPEN (4, 0A)

1st Aynsley’s Recuerdo Monika of Caorunn- Feminine head and expression, Presented a pleasing outline, good bone, but would prefer tighter feet, good body proportions. Moved out with with purpose and drive. BOB

2nd Club & Mason’s Sh Ch Oroshaza Chukar – This dog presented a pleasing outline and had a masculine head and expression. Correct front and rear assembly. He gave his handler a hard time on the move and needs to lose some weight over the shoulders as this spoilt him on the move. RBOB

3rd Club & Mason’s Sh Ch Oroshaza Jippa

GRADUATE (3, 0A)

1st Malcolm and Knowles’ Mistyayre Eviat at Bessalone – Feminine head and expression with good body proportions. Deep chested, correct front and rear assembly. Although this dog was not in coat it was more settled on the move to 2nd. RBOB

2nd Knowles and Glen’s Spinfandel World Was Wide Enough With Bessalone (Imp USA) – Lots to like about this dog. Masculine head and expression, good bone and feet, correct front and rear assembly, well sprung ribs, deep chested, correct topline. He gave his handler a hard time on the move but his construction gave him win 2nd place. BP & BPIS

3rd Ciesielski’s Javal Tanqueray Bloomsbury

1st Knowles, Knowles, Glen & Malcolm Bessalone Going Straight – This bitch presented a pleasing outline with correct size. Feminine head and expression with correct beard and eyebrows. Straight front leading to large and round feet, deep chested, well sprung ribs, correct front and rear assembly. Moved soundly. BOB

2nd Ciesieski Javal Rossi – Masculine head and expression with correct furnishings, correct bone, compact feet, correct topline, needs time to body up and fill his frame.

1st Uherkovichova & Gray’s Franorst Lady Pamela – 7 year old bitch with a feminine head and expression, correct length of neck into shoulders well laid back, short coupled, correct bend of stifle. Happy girl who moved soundly. BOB

1st Danks’ Colqually Major Tom – Nearly 8 months old dog who has a lovely head and expression. Dark brown eye with correct low set ears, deep chested, correct front and rear angles, well muscled rear end with he used on the move. One I shall watch with interest. BP

SPECIAL YEARLING (2,1A)

1st Alcorn, Crowther, MacAra’s Lourdace Headhunted By Cromasaig – Balanced dog who was presented a pleasing outline with a gleaming coat, masculine head and expression, straight front leading to oval feet, deep chested, well sprung ribs, correct front and rear quarters, correct topline which he held on the move, well muscled rear end and he moved with reach and drive.

1st Graham’s Clohass Killiecrankie – Masculine head and expression, straight front, good length of neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, well ribbed up, correct topline which he held on the move, moved soundly RBOB

2nd Millar’s Yennadon Benriach JW – Smaller framed dog who was not in his best coat, would prefer better skull proportions, correct flat bone and oval feet. Moved soundly.

1st McCallum’s Weemaes Wonderful Remark – Happy bitch who stood 4 square and presented a pleasing outline. Pleasing head and expression. Deep chested, correct body proportions, good front and rear angles, correct low set tail, moved well from all directions.

2nd McCallum Weemaes Calling Birds – Slighter framed bitch in good coat, pleasing head and expression, correct neck which flowed into well laid back shoulders. This girl was not happy at all on the move but when her Mum moved her she settled to move soundly.

AV HOUND

MINOR PUPPY (7,2A)

1st Willunat’s Shavano’s Quality of Life by Oliver – Rhodesian Ridgeback – A balanced dog who presented a pleasing shape and outline. Lovely head and expression, correct body proportions for his age, with good front and rear angles. Moved out well for one so young.

2nd Bruce & Moyes’ Bryelis Rebel Heart – Afghan Hound – Another dog who presented a pleasing outline and lovely head and expression, good body proportions again and moved well for one so young, but 1st was more together on the move.

3rd Dollan’s Onda De Viamonte at Scotach – Portuguese Podengo

PUPPY (7,2A)

1st McIntosh’s Kelansue Dark Destroyer – Basset Hound – Balanced boy who just stood out for me in this class, Such a pleasing head and expression, with good body proportions and moved so soundly for one so young. One I will watch his career with interest.

2nd Anderson’s Zandahar Tartan Xplorer – Afghan Hound – Dog with a pleasing head and expression. Presented a nice outline. He gave his handler a hard time but once settled moved with a grace and ease covering the ground effortlessly.

3rd McIntosh’s Kelansue Little Bit Norty

OPEN (3, 1A)

1st Phillips’ Vidana Amira S Berega Turi (IMP RUS) ShCM - Saluki – Feminine head and expression, with correct body proportions correct length of brisket with correct tuck up. When she moved it was free flowing and effortless.

2nd Scanlon’s Kinabula’s All About The Bass JW – Rhodesian Ridgeback – Dog who gave his handler a hard time, well ribbed, correct topline. Moved soundly.

HOUND GROUP

1) Binks’ Cishelvine Just This Once – Dachshund (Wire Haired) – This dog just stood out for me in very way. Balanced dog with correct front and rear assembly. When he moved he was a joy to watch and was so correct from every angle. BIS

2) Green’s & Place’s Colloney Hells Angel of Brochinbelle JW – Whippet – Feminine head and expression who again was so balanced with correct bone. Once again this bitch moved well from all angles.

3) McKnight, McLaughlan & Armstrong’s Boughton Bizzarrini at Azrams - Greyhound - Bitch that again presented an appealing outline. Feminine head and expression. When this bitch moves she is lovely but was playing her handler up today, but still deserved this place.

4) McIntosh’s Kelansue Dark Destroyer – Basset Hound – As Before

HOUND PUPPY GROUP

1) Reid’s Saadani Eye Of The Storm – Rhodesian Ridgeback – Nearly 9 months old dog who was balanced and presented a pleasing outline. Masculine head and expression. For his age he moved very well and one I will watch his career with interest. 2) Burgess’s Rosroden Hell Shes AGoodun – Beagle – Again another lovely bitch but on the day the winner was more together on the move

3) McIntosh’s Kelansue Dark Destroyer – Basset Hound – As before

4) Foote & McAulay’s Erylan La Fille Jeune – Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit) – Happy girl who was enjoying her day out. Presented a pleasing outline and was in good coat.

BIS – Binks’ Cishelvine Just This Once – Dachshund (Wire Haired) – Winner of my Hound group and really pulled out all the stops to win BIS in a lovely quality line up

RBIS – Pritchard, Cornwell & hill’s Ultimate Prince Yoshi and Us to Santaviga (IMP SVK) – Samoyed – Overall balance of this dog who presented in good condition. Lovely head and expression. So attentive to handler. Moved out well in all directions but just preferred the winner on the day.

BPIS - Knowles and Glen’s Spinfandel World Was Wide Enough With Bessalone (Imp USA) – Italian Spinone - As Before – When I judged this dog in the breed class he was all over the place. By the end of the day and in a bigger ring he deserved this award and really moved out well in all directions.

RBPIS – McKinnon Cherkhan Echo Falls – Japanese Shibu Inu –Lovely bitch who is so well put together, Feminine head and expression Moved out so well in all directions.
