1st Underwood’s Coverwell Black Grouse – Three year old black dog with a masculine head and expression, correct ear set and carriage, correct front and rear quarters, would prefer tighter feet, deep chested, well sprung ribs, level topline, correct tail set and carriage, moved well with drive and purpose.

1st Welch’s Hookwood Cupid –9 months old bitch with a nicely moulded feminine head and expression, straight front leading to tight feet, correct front and rear angles, deep chested, correct topline, moved well. BP
2nd Smith’s Lypal Well I Never – Nearly 12 months old dog with a masculine head and expression, straight front, well arched neck into correct shoulder placement, needs time to fill his frame, well turned stifles, moved soundly but needs to tighten in the rear.

1st Cobden’s Pendan Zelie To Alozia – Bitch that presented a pleasing outline. Correct head proportions and expression, correct straight front, correct forechest, long neck that flowed into well laid back shoulders, good bend of stifle. Moved soundly. RBOB
2nd Ottway’s Caithpint Paloma Faith at Castlebank – Pleasing bitch with a feminine head and expression, correct front and rear quarters, deep chested, moved with drive from behind.

1st Welch & Hazeltine’s Pytchley Chasing The Dream For Hookwood – This dog presented a pleasing outline and stood out in this class. Lovely masculine head and expression, straight front leading to tight feet, neck flowed into well laid back shoulders, short loin, deep chested, correct tailset and carriage, topline held on the move. Moved smoothly round the ring and covered the ground well. BOB and Gundog Group 3
2nd Hazeltine, Razzell, Spey, Oldfield & Lopes’ Am Ch Bookstor Fabello Kinky Boots – Lots to like about this bitch as presents a pleasing outline, would be interesting to see her when she is fully matured, would prefer better head proportions, well ribbed up, correct bend of stifle, moved with drive and purpose and handled well.

1st Murry’s Zefir Ot Chicarnoj Kompanii (Imp Blr) – 11 months old dog with a lovely chiseled head and expression, straight front leading to compact feet, long in neck into correct shoulder placement, deep chested, short loin, well bent stifles, correct tailset and carriage that never stopped wagging, covered the ground well on the move. 2nd Walden’s Truly Yours Clear Magic For Taramount (Imp Dnk) – 6 months old girl who was giving her handler a hard time. Nice head and expression but needs to develop on, correct length and flow of neck into well laid back shoulders, correct bend of stifle, moved with purpose and drive when she settled.

1st Skippings & Gough’s Pelhamcourt Miss Markle At Nelbells – Dog with a pleasing head and expression, correct length of neck, well laid back shoulders, correct body proportions, moved soundly.
2nd Murray’s Totem De La Chance (Imp Rus) – who was not happy at all today, straight front leading to compact feet, deep chested, she was not happy being moved and carried her tail down.

1st Walden’s Taramount Wot Dream May Come ShCM – Dog who presented a pleasing outline, well chiseled head and expression, deep chested, short loin, correct front and rear angles, won this class on his movement as just flowed round the ring. BOB
2nd Knapp’s Gablequest Glory Days – Larger framed dog with a masculine head and expression with correct pigment, nice body proportions, unfortunately he was carrying a bit too much weight over his shoulders and this affected his movement. Moved soundly.

1st Tranquada’s Stormdancer Cherry Chip At Castanho AI – Weimaraner - Nearly 12 months old with a lovely head and expression, deep chested, short in loin, moderate bend of stifle, correct tail set and carriage, level topline which she held on the move, moved soundly with drive from behind. BAVNSCP
2nd Clements & Oratt’s Affilato Twist Of Irony – Italian Spinone – Lots to like about this 6 months old dog. Masculine head and expression, excellent bone leading to round, compact feet, well laid back shoulders, deep chested, well sprung ribs, correct topline gently sloping and rising at loin, good bend of stifle. He really gave his handler a hard time standing him and moving him, but he just needs time. Moved well when settled.

This was a lovely class and the places could swap round any day.
1st Gronow’s Cazooska Lilys Gin Fizz – Large Munsterlander - 16 months old dog in good coat, with a masculine head and expression, excellent front and rear quarters, straight front leading to compact feet, correct body proportions, deep chested, well turned stifles, well muscled rear end which he used on the move. Once settled he moved true in all directions. BAVNSC
2nd Critchely’s Braccorions Never Say Never – This bitch presented a pleasing square outline with classic head proportions and expression. Powerful short neck leading into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, well sprung ribs, good bend of stifle. Needs to tighten in feet and in rear movement, but moved with purpose.

Overall a pleasing bitch who presented a pleasing outline. Clean cut neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, short loin, good front and rear quarters, would prefer tighter feet and still has time to fill her frame, strong level topline which she held on the move, moved soundly
3rd Thorogood’s Sh Ch Winhampton Over The Yardarm Of Harriefield JW ShCM – Lots to like about this boy and today he just wasn’t on top form.

A lovely class of Veterans and I only wished I had more first prize cards.
1st Whittock’s Merrywater Minstrel At Kingsheath ShCM – English Spring Spaniel – 8 year old black and white dog, classic masculine head and expression, straight front leading to neat feet, correct front assembly, deep chested, muscular loin, well spring ribs, moderate bend of stifle. This dog is a credit to his owner, as he moves so well in all directions and is kept in hard condition.
2nd Barkley’s Sh CH Cherryheath’s Mr Mischield JW ShCM – Again another 8 year who is a credit to his breed, he presents a compact outline, masculine head and expression with a strong long neck leading into well laid back shoulders, correct front and rear assembly, deep chested, moderate bend of stifle, well muscled rear end which he used on the moved. Moved with drive and purpose.

1) Wimhurst’s Kingsheath Regal Gold – English Springer Spaniel – Liver and white who presented a pleasing outline, classic head and excellent body proportions. When he moved he just came into his own. Pleased to see later that he went RBIS
2) Blackley & salero’s Cooleela Operation Dynamo Wightroche – Cocker Spaniel – Black cocker who presented a pleasing picture. A lovely dog who moved with a bustle.
3) Welch & Hazeltine’s Pytchley Chasing The Dream For Hookwood – Pointer – As Before
4) Johnson’s Cremino Crushed Ice – Labrador Retriever – Yellow bitch with a lovely shape, Correct head and body proportions, in excellent coat. Just not so positive on the move as others, but still deserved this place.

2nd Hutchison’s Waverton’s Illusion – Flat Coated Retriever – 7 months old bitch who presented a pleasing outline. She is very together for her age and moved well in all directions.
3rd Blackley’s & Salero’s Wightroche Over The Rainbow – Cocker Spaniel – Black bitch who has all the essentials but gave her handler a hard time, but once settled moved well.
4th Taylor’s Alibren Eccles At Tannadice – Golden Retriever – 9 months old dog who presents a pleasing outline. Gave handler a hard time on the move.

1st Burrage’s Sh Ch Komidion Night Music At Sametova ShCM ShCEx VW – Cesky Terrier – Loved her my notes say. Presented a pleasing shape with a classic head and expression, medium length of neck into well laid shoulders, correct front and rear assembly, well sprung ribs, medium in body length, moved well in all directions and with drive.
2nd Roberts & Spearing’s Linkenlees Laurina – Beagle – Compact bitch who presented a pleasing outline, straight front leading to tight feet, deep chested, well sprung ribs, short in loin, correct tail carriage and held on the move, moved well and soundly.
