Many thanks to the committee for their generous invitation to judge. I was made to feel so welcome on show day. Thanks especially to my stewards also who kept the rings running with efficiency and good humour always. My exhibits were of commendable quality throughout and it was especially nice to see that all were shown in such a sporting manner.

Class 54: Bichon Frise Open Dog or Bitch (2, 0)

!st Bayne & Smith: MANOIR’S MR MOONLIGHT JW SHCM (BOB, GP1, RBIS)

Two year old male shown in full coat and tip top condition. Excellent pigment. Very correct type with good balance and reach of neck. Very good angles front and rear with good ribbing. Moved well at all speeds, never putting a foot wrong.

2nd Innes: STARFORTHS JUST LOVING YOU AT PEARLWHITE SHCM

Six year old bitch with good coat and lovely pigment. Moved well, but was a little unsettled at times. Would benefit from a fuller coat.

Three year old Black and Tan male with lovely sweet expression, clean eyes, good head and ribbing. Retained his topline on the move. Well-handled to his place.

2nd Linton: THEKOPS CINDERELLA

Thirteen months old black and tan bitch with sweet expression. Good ribbing. Moved slightly close away and towards. Less mature than 1.

Eight month old red male shown in lovely condition. Dainty and lively in expression and outlook. Lovely pigment. Very good angles front and rear. Moved confidently around the ring.

2nd Symon: BRAMERITA HERE’S TROUBLE AT CHARABRI

Fourteen Months old tri-colour male. Very correct head and expression with clear eye. Moved out well around the ring, retaining his topline.

1st Allan: ALLANABRU ROSE TICO

Fifteen months old chocolate bitch shown in good condition. Very expressive head and neck. Moved correct away and towards but did have a tendency to pace a little at times.

2nd Allan: ALLANABRU KYLO REN

Fifteen months old black and tan male, shown in excellent condition. Lovely sound movement and attitude. Ears need to firm just a little more.

1st Allan: ALLANABRU PRANCING’ N PRADA JW (BOB)

Three year old dainty and balanced bitch with very good angles. She moved soundly and showed a well-coordinated gait at all speeds.

1st Price: GUDYORK CORALIE OF KIRCYAN (IMP SVK) (BOB)

Four year old female shown in full coat. Showed good pigment. Slightly steep shoulder and upper arm. Moved slightly close towards. Covered the ring well with a good sidegait.

2nd Price: ORNELLA DES MILROLS OF KIRCYAN (IMP FRA) (BP)

Eleven month old bitch shown in good condition. Moved correct away and towards with good sidegait around the ring, retaining topline. A few steel hairs on forehead to topknot.

Eleven month old male of excellent ring presence. Very good coat condition, overall balance and muscle tone. Moved correct away and towards, showing super drive in his sidegait. Really demanding to be noticed as he moved effortlessly around the ring. Well-schooled and handled

2nd Hillan: POMMANIAS LIGHTNING SHCM (POMERANIAN)

Three year old orange sable shown a little out of coat. Very square in outline of sweet expression and temperament. Very good mover. Showed a plucky attitude.

1st Barrett: DALMANTI RUBY RAIDER SHCM (BOB)

Twenty months old black spotted bitch with lovely dark pigment and feminine head. Well balanced throughout in proportions and angles. Initially took time to settle, but as the class went on was able to show herself to advantage in skilled hands. Loved her proud carriage and movement. Unfortunately in the group she became unsettled again.

2nd Morris & Waddell: LUCCOMBE STRAWBERRY ICE

Another black spotted bitch with good head and body proportions. She was slightly close away. Good flowing sidegait. In stance she had a tendency to lean backwards spoiling the picture a little.

1st Divers: IR CH KICHIGAI RARE EDITION AT MURMANSK SHCM (BOB)

Nine and a half years old bitch in lovely coat and condition. Clear eye and good head, markings and expression. Stands very correct with good angles and bone. Moves correct away and towards and covers the ground well in sidegait, showing little of her age.

2nd Gate: LACETROM SHUNA SHCM

Three year old bitch. Larger than 1, with slightly stretched proportions. Good head and marking with correct ears that she could have used more to her advantage. Moved correct away and towards with good coordinated sidegait.

1st Caswell: CHANCEINN AZA SCREW LOOSE AT FARRENMILLS [ATC AV00076303] (BP)

Ten months old cream shaded bitch. Good head proportions, good clear eye and pigment. Lovely ribbing. Moved well around the ring. Coat needs to come in fully to complete the picture.

2nd Caswell: HOPEINNS VISITING ORDER

Thirteen month old red and white boy shown in full coat and lovely condition, whom I thought would be my winner in this class, but for a conformation problem. Lovely head and expression, clear eye and good pigment. Extended well around the ring.

Two year old sandy coloured bitch with good proportions shown in full coat and good condition. Moved well around the ring covering the ground well.

2nd Caswell: MOON LIGHT OVER FARRENMILLS

Four year old steel grey and white bitch, rather more compact than 1. Nice head and expression. Moved slightly close away and towards. Preferred the sidegait of 1.

3rd Caswell: HOPEINNS OVER TH’LIMIT WITH FARRENMILLS [ATC AU02905001]

Nineteen month old male black and white parti-colour. Lovely square outline with good coat and carriage. Good pigment and bone. Coat in very good condition. Moved correct away and towards but would have liked more forward reach and drive.

2nd King: ARAKI MAGIC DANCER FOR KARAMYST (Tibetan Terrier BP)

Nine month old male black and white parti-colour, also showing square outline. Lovely condition. At this age his lower hock is long. Moved correct away and towards, but also would like a shade more drive and reach in him.

Six years old dog, richly pigmented with super coat. Good proportions and well angled. Moved correct throughout.

Well balanced in proportions and angles which translated into effortless correct movement around the ring and away and towards. Excellent ring presence which completed the picture for me today.
