Scunthorpe Canine Society 26/8/19  Golden Retrievers Thankyou to the committee for inviting me to judge at your friendly and welcoming show, also to my steward who ensured everything ran smoothly and to the exhibitors for your entry on one of the hottest days of the year. P (3,2a) 1. Mason's Mavistan Rambling Rose Beautiful pale cream bitch puppy of 8 months. She has a pretty head, dark eyes with a gentle expression and good pigmentation. Lovely straight front and reach of neck onto super layback of shoulder and good depth of chest. Short coupled and correct angulation front and rear all held together very well on the move. BP and PG3 J (3,2a) 1. Welch's Putjade Perfect Dream For Fennyfare Was Pale cream young bitch just out of puppy. She has a feminine head, correct dentition and ear set. Good straight front and level top line, short couples and with equal angulations front and rear. Everything held together very nicely on the move. PG (4,2a) 1. Smith's Goldmarker Sky Walker This young well presented dog has a beautiful dark gold coat. He has a masculine head with a gentle expression, dark eyes with lovely pigmentation and correct stop. He has a super deep chest and spring of rib. Well layed back shoulders onto a dead level top line with equal angulations front and rear. Moved out well with reach and drive. 2. Booth's Rocamoka Wind Dreamer Young bitch with a kindly expression, correct dentition and good pigment. She has a level top line and tail set with good angulations. Carrying a bit too much weight today which affected her movement. O (4,2a) 1. Mason's Nosam Heroic Outlaw Dark gold young chap wearing his best coat. He has a super head with a melting expression. Super reach of neck, layback of shoulder and a deep chest. Short coupled with correct angulations front and rear. He has a level top line and tail set and really caught my eye as he flowed round the ring with reach and drive. BOB 2. Booth's Alumbeck's Holly Rainbow Feminine cream bitch with everything nicely balanced. She has a gentle expression and dark, kind eyes. Good reach of neck and layback. Straight front, level top line and tail set. I would have liked to see her carrying less weight as this affected her movement today. Fiona Bell
