Judge Mr E Forsey (Muzoku). I was hounered to be offered the opportunity to judge this local clubs limit show and was very pleased with both the quantity and quality of entry’s which made my day both enjoyable and difficult in picking between some quality entrants.

AVNSC Terrier

PG (3). 1, Springford, Keevasdream White Linen, 11/2 half year old, Soft coated wheaten Terrier bitch. Balanced head with flat planes and distinct stop, muscular with elegant arch, level topline, Well angulated front with equal return, high set tail, moved freely with a true straight action. BOB

2, Samson, Shasgav My Immortal. 3 year old Cesky Terrier, bitch. Sturdy but feminine, nice expresion and dark eye with prominent eybrows. Good front and rear angulation, well muscled throughout.

3. Stow, Man of Darkness. Staffordshire Bull Terrier

O (2) 1. Samson, Shasgav Sound of Silence ShCm ShCEx. 3 year old Cesky Terrier, bitch, sister to previous. Another beautiful head of good proportions, scissor bite, high set ears, well muscled throughout, well sprung ribs and slight tuck up to rear, nice arched feet, brisk parallel movement away and back.

2. Stow, Man of Darkness. 21/2 half year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Broad head with well padded cheeks and dark eye, tight lips, short muscled neck, powerful well angulated front, level topline, would like more positive movement at the rear.

P (3). 1. Clane, Tancurelo Custard Cream. Very smart 7 month old fawn whippet bitch. Full of elegance and graceful on the move, well balanced, lean head, portraying a nice flowing profile through her neck, shoulders and down her back with only a slight arch over the loin. Sufficient depth of chest, moved true holding her balance in all direction. BP and RBPIS

2. Politt, Kenynten Redcurrent Glory. Another nice 7 month old whippet. Nice brindle and white male who was well toned throughout, good angulation and nice bone, just didn’t reach as well as first on the move today.

3. Steel, Tigsisle Time After Time, Whippet

Y (6,1a). 1, Reese, Pteridium Braken. 19 month old fawn and white whippet bitch. Feminine head with alert eyes and well placed rose ears, good angulation throughout and a deep chest with nice tuck up, elegant stride with a good reach, moving true in all aspects.

2. Le Page, Thelepees Pennyblack Silk, plucky MLH Dachshund bitch who was just over 1 year old. Black and tan coat of good length and texture, balanced head which she carried proudly, well laid shoulders with strong bone to legs, level topline which was nicely held when moving briskly around the ring.

3. Quant, Arrows Little Cupid, Whippet

PG (10). 1, Reese, Millingtondale Mercury. 4 year old brindle female whippet who took my breath away on the move. Nice breadth to head while remaining feminine. Excellent front angulation and return of upper arm, legs straight with slight flex to pasterns, nice underline and tuck up, gentle arch over loin, well angulated rear. Was a pleasure to give her BOB

2, Whitelock, Rumuruti Rather Hopeful. 2 year old, honest Rhodesian Ridgeback bitch, nice size and balance, powerful muzzle and correct dentition, high set ears, good length neck. Well angulated, slight bend to pasterns, with tight compact feet. Nice set to tail, moved cleanly.

3. Roberts and Spearing, Linkenlees Laurina, Beagle

O (12,1a) 1. Roberts and Spearing, Linkenlees Lyric ShCm ShCEx. 3year old beagle, stocky well balanced girl. Scissor bite, moderate stop splitting the head evenly, broad and deep muzzle, eye colour matching coat. Good length neck set on well laid back shoulders, straight topline and well-toned, moved cleanly at a steady trot.

2. Baulch, Erinnis Mignonette. 3 year old fawn and white female whippet. Pleasing, long, lean, balance head, well placed small ears, nice arch to neck and well set on shoulder, good angulation throughout, slight bend to pasterns, lithe on the move covering the ground with ease while moving true.

3. Marsh, A touch of Magic At Marshwick, Dachshund (LH)

P (1). 1. Iremonger, Moonmist Bluebell. 7 month old American Cocker Spaniel bitch with a pretty head. Nice defined stop and rise to crown, good arch to neck, plentiful silky black coat with grey tips. Moderate angulation, good depth of chest, moved true away and back.

Y (5,2a). 1, McGrath, AV3 Teisgol Hot'n Sausey. Lemon and white, 17 month old male Pointer who didn’t disappoint. Classic head with nice flowing topline from the back of the skull through the shoulders to the tail, well angulated with tight oval feet. Good drive from the rear.

2. McWilliams, Fernstone Lapis Lazuli. Pretty, 15 month old Cocker Spaniel bitch. Sweet head with a good square muzzle and distinct stop, clean neck set well on shoulders. Tight feet, compact body, moved well albeit a little excitable.

3. Glass, Gunring My Boy, English Springer Spaniel

PG (5,1a). 1, Mullins, Heathclare Duckies. 3 year old, handsome Irish Setter male. Balanced head with nice parallel planes, well-muscled neck of good length, good angulation, adequate depth of chest, slightly sloping topline. Clean movement covering the ground well.

2. Stockwell, Hilsgoldens In The Navy. 5 year old masculine Golden Retriever, Broad skull but not coarse, strong muzzle with correct bite, solid construction throughout body with good angulation and muscle tone. Nice set to tail and length to hock.

3. Wallace, Tiaja Love In The Sun. Labrador Retriever

O (7). 1, Fear, Wraxhill Gettysburg Address, 3 year old American Cocker Spaniel with a plentiful rich tan coat who stole the show. Masculine, balanced head with a defined stop, strong neck, good angulation, nice square outline to body with well sprung ribs and a nice short strong coupling. Nice compact feet. Handled to perfection showing off her clean free effortless gait. BOB and BIS

PG (1). 1, Bedwell, Vicmars Smart Fella. 21/2 year old well presented Standard poodle with a good coat, head long and fine, correct stop and dark almond shaped eyes. Moderate front angulation, good depth of chest, level topline and nice set to tail, good rear angulation and well let down hocks. Moved true, but with a tendency to pace.

O (5,1a) 1. Cann, Sunmarca Moonlight Shadow. 3 year old, black, Miniature poodle bitch. Immaculately presented in super coat with a good square body outline. Head in balance with body and carried elegantly throughout. Good front and rear angulation, tight oval feet, deep chest and nice short coupling, high tail set carried well. True moving away and back covering ground lightly with enthusiasm. BOB, RBIS.

2. Jones, Long Coat Glorious Sunspot. 41/2 year old handsome male Tibetan Terrier. Just slightly longer than height at withers, skull of good length and not to broad, scissor bite, nice pendant shaped ears set fairly high, in good coat. Level topline with short loin. Large, round, feet, another clean mover pushing hard for 1st.

Y (2). 1, Trim, Royceprides Drama Queen, almost 11/2 year old Bullmastiff bitch with a stunning, strong but femine head with nice square proportions and dark eye colour. Broad, short, muzzle, good underjaw, dark wide spaced nostrils. Well arched strong neck flowing onto shoulders, good front angulation and with plenty of bone, sufficient breadth of chest, good sized feet and nice rear turn of stifle. Moved with purpose BOB

2, Trim, Royceprides Paparazzi. Bullmastiff, litter sister to first, similar in type with a pleasing head but slightly taller and finer in body and build throughout to her sister.

PG (1). 1, Pleats Osha The Wildling at Roycepride, Another pleasing, solidly constructed Bullmastiff bitch from this kennel with pleanty of type, Broad head with dark medium sized eyes, well placed ears and level bite, short strong neck, broad and deep chest, well angulated with good sized tight feet.

O (3,2a) 1. Trim and Bishop, Royceprides Calypso, 21/2 year old Bullmastiff, solid, well muscled bitch, head of good type with alert high set ears. Stong neck, level topline with short broad loin. Good bone with moderate angulation. Slight bend to pasterns, good sized feet which could be tighter.

PG (2). 1, Warren-Sinclaire, Meretrix Harley ISDS. 6 year old male, Border collie. Good sized head with nice tapering to muzzle, scissor bite, and well placed alert earsWell muscled with good angulation at front and turn of stifle at rear. Covered the ground effortlessly.

2.Sparrow, Marguerite Bleue De La Baie D'Adonis (Imp FRA). 3 year old female Briard of good overall proportion, Square muzzle, large black nose, in good coat, moderate front angulation and back level with slight slope to croup. Tail well furnished with hook at tip.

O (3) 1. Webb, Megamaree Just Amazing ShCm JW. 4 year old male Bearded Collie. broad flat skull crowning this well balanced head, strong muzzle, scissor bite, soft but alert eyes. Slightly arched neck set well on shoulders, deep chest, legs of good bone and well arched tight feet. Level topline with strong loin, low set tail, moved true in all aspects covering the ground with ease BOB,

2. Evans, Shadoway Lucky Strike. 4 year old handsome male Shetland Sheepdog. Nice tapouring head with scissor bite, high set tipped ears. Neck of good length, nice lay of shoulder and return, quite compact, moved freely with a nice side gait but sligthly close at rear on the away.

P (1) 1. Lane, Starleisha Midnight Kiss. Stunning 11 month old Havanese bitch. Lively attitude and Immaculatly presented. Broad but sligthly rounded balanced head with a soft expression, Nice, dark eye and correct scissor bite. Evenly angulated front with brisket to elbow, slightly longer in body than height at withers with level topline, high set tail, profuse soft silky coat throughout, moved with purpose, BPIB, BPIS.

Y (5,1a) 1. Quant, Anadeia Sirius Black. 15 month old , Chinese Crested male with a plucky attitude. Nice, lean, tapering head with chiselled head with chiselled cheeks, scissor bite. Sufficient crest, lean build, chest to elbows and good front angulation, super little mover with good reach and drive.

2. Crump, Pigalle Praise Bea. 13 month female Pug with nice and compact body. Pleasing head with short, square, muzzle, dark, round, eye, small high set ears on a broad skull Nice neck, level topline and tight curled tail, moved true away and back.

PG (4,1a). 1, French, norvanik Happy Go Luck. A lively 2 year old female Pomeranian. Typical foxy spitz head with small, erect ears. Well placed dark oval eye. Nice lay of shoulder, profuse double coat of good texture. Compact body, moved briskly but true.

2. Makepeace, Sandigara Second Thoughts. 15 month male pug with a masculine head, dark round eye, well placed ears on a broad head. Good front angulation, well -toned body with moderate front and rear angulation, moved nicely with a little bit of attitude.

3. Crump, Pigalle Pretty Wishes, Pug

O (1) 1. Makepeace, Sandigara Superman. 3 year old well –muscled, male Pug. Large head with short muzzle and large round eyes, ears well placed, strong neck flowing into shoulders, nice front angulation with straight legs, solid in body with short loin, good rear angulation, moved cleanly with a typical light roll from the rear BOB

7-9 years (12,5a) 1. Roberts & Spearing, Linkenlees Liberty ShCM, VW. 9 years old powerfully built but feminine beagle Well placed stop dividing the head, strong muzzle with tight lips and good dentition. Well toned throughout, short broad loin. Moved with purpose.

2. Clane, Darquell Kay Sera at Tancurelo, almost 9 year old whippet bitch. Lean girl with a feminine head, with nice taper to muzzle, still got a twinkle in her eye. Nice profile with slight rise over loin, move true and reached out well.

3. Lane, Starleisha Heavenly Star ShCM, Havanese

10+ years (3,1a) 1. Evans, Glensanda Girl on The Go, 101/2 years old Shetland sheepdog. Sweet faced bitch with a well-balanced head and nice tipped ears. Good angulation, with a profuse coat fitting the body, covered the ground with a graceful purpose showing she still has the moves. BVIS

2. Roberts & Spearing, Redcap Little Gem at Linkenlees ShCM. 12 year old Beagle bitch with a pleasing head, still showing strength and grace. Moderate angulation at front, level topline, well, let down hocks at rear, still moving well just starting to toe in slightly.

2. French, Norvanik Treacle Tart, 14 month old Pomeranian bitch who presented a nice outline, in good coat, sweet expression, moderate angulation and good set to tail. Moved with a brisk stride.
