Thank you to the Committee for inviting me to judge, it was a great honour. I would also like to thank my super helpful steward and all the competitors for accepting my decisions sportingly.

Large Munsterlander

Post Graduate (4, 1)

1 – Gray-Stephens’ Jaudas Lets Dance. Nice young bitch just 22 months. Pleasing head, would prefer darker eyes. Nice depth of chest and correct sloping topline. Well turned stifles, slightly longer in hocks. Strong bone overall. Just a little long in loin however held her topline on the move. Best mover of the class.

2 – Dunsmore and Dunsmore’s Jaudas Kind of Magic. Nice young dog just over 2 years old. He just needs a little more time to mature. Nice broad head, sufficient layback of shoulder, would prefer more forechest. Ribs deep with good depth of brisket leading to a nice tuck up. Plenty of coat but finer in bone than 1. Sound on the move just preferred the move of the 1.

3 – Scott and Scott’s Qualitil Sophie’s Sunshine. Lovely young lady just over 8 months of age. Very raw and needs time to mature. Lovely head and expression with beautiful dark eyes. Moved lovely when settled. Happy to award her BPIB.

Limit (3, 1)

1 – Gray-Stephens’ Seahaven’s Olympic Utopia. 6 years old quality bitch presented in super hard condition and beautifully made all through. Lovely soft expression, dark eye, correct sloping topline. Nice depth of chest and spring of rib. Good turn of stifle, hocks well let down. Moved freely and effortlessly with a spring in her gait. Pleased to award her RBOB.

2 – Logie and Braidwood’s Cindy vom Hundfeld at Albadhu (IMP DEU). Another lovely quality bitch, only 3 year old. Nice shaped head with soft expression and beautiful dark eye. Correct sloping topline, well laid shoulders, deep chest into a well-muscled loin. Good turn of stifle, just out of coat. Lovely mover just preferred 1 today. They can easily switch places on another day.

1 – Logie and Gray’s Sh Ch Albadhu Paws for Perfection. Loved this boy from the moment he stepped in the ring. His name sums him up perfectly. Presented in excellent condition. Nice head with dark thoughtful eyes. Strong masculine neck, well arched into strong sloping topline. Well sprung ribs, little long in loin however this gives him a perfect driving power enhanced by well-muscled hindquarters. Strong bone and well knuckled feet. He let his presence felt while driving round the ring with ease. Pleased to award him BOB and BV.

1 – Kirkwood’s Sch Ch Arielle Vom Ginzegrund Mit Helydon (IMP DEU) – Quality 7 year old bitch. Lovely feminine head with dark oval shaped eyes. Correctly set ears, perfect dentition. Strong neck leading into sloping shoulders. Elbows held close to the body, slight slope to pasterns. Deep well sprung ribs reaching into a tucked-up loin. Well-padded oval shaped feet. Firm hindquarters with good turn of stifle. She moved freely and gracefully round the ring. Pleased to award her BOB and BVIB and see her go on to win RBIS and BVIS.
