9 month old dog of pleasing size and overall balance, liked his head and eye, clean through the neck, moderate front angulation, excellent bone and feet. Firm level topline, excellent tailset, moved well particularly from the rear, really driving off his hocks.

1st Barrett Karaszy’s Glorious Legacy 

3 year old dog of pleasing size, head og good shape, muzzle of correct length, would prefer darker eye colour, strong neck, shoulders well placed, excellent bone and feet. Body of enough depth, strong topline, well muscled quarters, hocks well let down. Moved out well, particularly in profile to take BOB over the puppy.

1st Clarke Conabec Periwinkle

Well presented blue roan puppy of 10 months. Well developed for his age in size and substance, liked his shape, darke eyes of good shape, strong neck, well angulated front, excellent feet. Strong topline, ribbed quite well back, longer in loin. Strong rear, well muscled, free and positive mover with an outgoing temperament. Presented in good condition BP & PG2.

1st Clifford Wyncatle’s Danish Affer of Chamford (Imp Hun)

12 month old dog well presented. Undoubtedly masculine, stronger in head and deeper in flews, moderate front angulation, pleasing bone and feet. Firm in topline, moved well fore and aft.

1st Hewett Cascadia Caruso

3 year old bitch of pleasing size, liked her head and expression although it could be a little more developed. Stands on excellent legs and feet, pleasing outline when stacked. Moved positively fore and aft and in profile, can carry her tail a little high on the move.

1st Warrington Zakova Sugar Plum

Black and tan bitch who appealed in head and eye, strong neck, ok front, good bone and feet. Well ribbed body, strong topline, ribbed well back, presented in excellent coat and condition. Moved out quite positively in all directions and did more than enough for BOB although seemed a little reluctant on the surface of the venue at times.

2nd Clifford Serci After Dark at Shadow Amor of Chamford (Imp Serb)

Blue dog with a pleasing head and eye, well placed shoulders, excellent bone and feet. Well ribbed body, pleasing topline and tailset. Shown in well presented coat of good texture. Moved well in front, could have used his rear to better advantage.

1st Twilley Donarden Sweet Whisper

6 month old puppy at her first show and with a great temperament. Liked her head shape, eyes still needing to darken a little, pleasing front, enough forechest, good feet. Well ribbed body, level topline, a little steep in croup and I would prefer more rear angulation. Shown in excellent condition, enjoying herself on the move. BP but didn’t stay for the puppy group.

1st Crouch Trimere Timeless with Kassan

18 month old bitch, presents a pleasing outline stacked. Head of good balance although doesn’t need to develop anymore, pleasing eye shape. Clean through the neck, enough bone and good feet. Firm topline, ribbed quite well back, well bodied. Moved freely fore and aft. Shown in well presented coat and excellent muscletone BOB & G4.

Stronger headed male and deep in stop, clean through the neck, moderate front angulation and moves a little wide coming on. Stands on good legs and feet, firm level topline, tailset ok. Well presented in good coat. BOB

1st Charles Stargarth A kind of Magic

Feminine bitch of pleasing size and substance, appealed for her head and eye, could be better in front angulation. Pleasing outline, holds a pleasing outline in profile, strong well muscled rear which she uses on the move, shown in good condition.

2nd Tubb Slapestones Tidal Wave for Alsutu

Up to size dog of pleasing type, just a little stronger all through. Pleasing expression and eye shape and colour. Plenty of bone and excellent feet, ribbed well back, could be better in topline. Moved enthusiastically. Shown in very good coat.

1st Smith Winterwell Maida Stone

GSP dog of pleasing size and substance, liked his head shape, eyes of pleasing shape but can still darken a little. Strong neck, enough front, correct for bone and stands on excellent feet. Ribbed well back, short in loin, well bodied. Plenty of rear angulation, well muscled quarters, moved positively. BP & PG1, went on to RBPIS.

2nd Turnbull Afterglow Antoinette

Beautifully headed B/T bitch puppy, strong arched neck, pleasing front, enough bone, could carry more body to advantage, holding a good outline standing and moving in profile. Shown in good condition.

1st Elkin Tolekin Café Aericano

6 month old Duck Toller who appeals in head and eye. All male and well grown he has a good front, well angulated, excellent bone and feet, well bodied and holding his topline, still needing to strengthen in the rear.

2nd Collett Stagerun Kestrel

Spinone with a pleasing head, well angulated front, in firm body, carrying tail too high, would prefer a little more rear angulation, moved ok.

1st Sandiford & Lewis Hernwood Neptune Sea

Upstanding Gordon Setter who had immediate appeal for his typical outline. Masculine head, dark eyes, liked his expression. Strong neck, shoulders well laid, the best of bone and feet. Deep in body, strong firm topline which he held moving. Strong well muscled rear, hocks well let down, moving out to advantage in all directions. Immaculately presented, powered around the group ring and had to win.

2nd Thorogood Sh Ch Winhampton Over the Yardarm of Harrifield JW SH CM

Well presented Clumber Spaniel who won his place here on his very positive movement evn ona difficult surface. Pleasing head, strong neck, well boned legs. Deep in body, firm in topline. Moved out ver positively in all directions. Presented in A1 condition.

Gundog Group 2 – Pointer Am Ch Bookstor Fabello Kinky Boots (imp usa)

Orange and white pointer bitch coming up 3 years old. Presents a pleasing outline stood, liked her head and eye. Clan through the neck and front, enough bone and good feet. Well ribbed body, pleasing topline, handled to advantage and moved out well fore and aft but was not putting all in as she was clearly feeling the cold.

Gundog Group 3 – Labrador Retriever Climpson Othamcourt Heathcliff

Black Labrador dog of pleasing size. Kind expression, strong through the neck, moderate front angulation, ok feet. Barrell shaped ribs carried well back, well wrapped tail, set and carried correctly. Shown in good muscletone, moved ok.

Yellow bitch of pleasing size, although still needing to develop all through. Clean through the neck and shoulders, enough bone and good feet. Firm topline which she held moving. Moved straight and true. 

Gundog Group 4 – Golden Retriever Fenpique Magnus Opus at Molestream

Upstanding cream dog, stronger in head but with correct eye shape and excellent pigment. Well angulated front, plenty of bone and good feet. Good depth of body, ribbed well back, strong though the loin. Well muscled quarters which he used to advantage on the move. Tail carriage could be better.

1st Rachel Langer

Handling a Shetland Sheepdog, did all her patterns correctly and reassured and spoke to her dog.

JHA 12-16

1st Lauren Goddard

Handling a pointer, got the best from her dog at all times and coped well with a large dog in a small ring. Excellent patterns, BJH.

2nd Edward Eddery

Showing a Pug, attentive and capable handler, just taking his dog a shade too fast moving.

Capable handler who worked well with an excitable junior German spitz to show it to best advantage.
