Pug J 1 Lindsay’s Rhodenash Dream a Long with Anjuli. Super specimen, cobby, balanced well constructed. Head suitably proportionate, rounded skull with square muzzle, dark and round eyes with no exaggeration, clear markings and wrinkle on her head. Level topline and high set tail. On the move, she is faultless having a typical pug roll. BOB & G1. 2 Cowie’s Megipugi’s Milli on Dreams. Good for size, cobby and square. Moved well, with good roll. Level topline and high set tail. 3 Marshall’s Yorlanders Amethyst at Shandalar.
PG 1Lavin-Thompson’s Teal Saphire Gem at Ellharv. Rounded skull, dark eyes, square muzzle. A little on the tall side for my preference.
O 1 Cowie’s Sunlea Cast a Spell over Megipugi. Cobby, square and well balanced. Dark eyes, correct ear set, nicely arched neck, level topline, high set tail, moved with drive. 2 Marshall’s Lil Miss Greedy at Shandalar. Appealing head, dark eye, well constructed, moved well. 3 Ferguson’s Tartanmops Diamonds n Coal JW.
Bichon Frise PG 1 Doran and Clemenson’s Beautipets Begonia. Balanced and correct for size. Correctly proportioned head with slightly rounded skull. Well sprung ribs and strong loin. Tail continuing from topline and carried correctly. Moved with elegance and drive. 2 Millar and Crawley’s Abbas Beau. Another nice example of the breed, overall I preferred the size of the winner.
O 1 Doran’s Jaimen’s Sol Sitere. Sound and balanced, moved with drive and elegance. Level topline that he maintained on the move. 2 Innes’ Starforth Just Loving You at Pearlwhite. Correct for size, moved well but was not carrying his tail all the time today.
Chinese Crested O 1 Reilly’s Baojin Secret Agent ShCM. Glamorous specimen, fills the ring when he moved. Dark, well placed eyes, ears set low, carried erect with good fringe. 2 Bell’s Bryelis Belle o’ the Ball. Another impressive mover. 3 Reilly’s Clanest Ring Commander.
CKCS G 1 Baillie’s Coralvalley Pure Mischief at Cavallino. Very attractive and feminine bitch; gentle expression, dark, round eyes; balanced head. Well balanced overall, moved with typical free-flowing and elegant action with level topline and good tail carriage. BOB. 2 Linton’s Thekop’s Cinderella. Well balanced overall and good for size. Really liked her head and gentle expression. Her topline was not as good as the winner. 3 Slack’s Kinvaar Jack Flash at Eversbabes.
O 1 Bailie’s Marisk Greatest Showman at Cavllino. Sound and balanced, flat skull with sufficient stop, gentle expression from dark, round eyes. Moved soundly with free-flowing and elegant action maintaining a level topline. 2 Slack’s Willowheart Louis. Gentle expression, large round round and dark eye. Moved well. 3 Nailie’s Coralvalley Pure Mischief at Cavallino.
Pomeranian J 1 Nixon’s Kazpom So Sassie. Correct fox like expression, bright and dark eyes, small and erect ears. Fine boned with straight legs, moved with buoyant action. 2 Rawlings’ Wollsteiner the Black Demon. A little wide in front but I liked his head and expression, well set and small ears, moved well with correct action.
PG 1 Nisbet’s Angelrocks Kickin Up a Storm. Loved his head and expression, foxy with slightly flat skull, dark and bright ears with small and well set ears. Short and compact body with level topline. High set tail with profuse coat. 2 Rawlings’ Wollsteiner Black Diamond. Very appealing puppy, with excellent head and expression, sound and well constructed, compact with level topline. Moved with typical vivaciousness. 3 Nixon’s Kazpom I’m Fizzin.
O 1 Nixon’s Pakovs Silver Lady. Cracking bitch of excellent shape, well constructed and balanced throughout, compact body with level topline. Moved with style. High set tail. BOB. 2 McDowall’s Carberry Count on Me. Foxy head and dark, bright eyes. Coat in good condition. Moved with brisk action.
Pekingese O 1 Furey’s Bellablake Royal Inferno at Clanese. Puppy with excellent coat presented in good condition, Correct large head with flat skull between the ears. Round and dark eyes. Short body with level topline, high set tail. 2 Kane’s Floating Int Eternity. Correct for size and moved well.
Yorkshire Terrier PG 1 Burns’ Anais-Anais Caliph at Winann. Appealing head and expression with dark and sparkling eyes. High set and closely set ears. Good reach of neck, level toploine that was maintained on the move. Coat in good condition with rich colouring. 2 Kane’s Floating into Eternity.
Maltese O 1 Gillies’ Delcost Designer Girl. Well balanced, short and cobby with level topline and tail carried well over the back. Correct pigment with dark eyes. Moved with free flowing action. 2 Flannigan’s Snowkai’s Super Mario. Puppy with many similar qualities to the winner, will be a competitor when he matures.
AVNSC Toy O 1 Doran’s Limartine Reddy N’Willing, Australian Silky Terrier. Super Silky, presented in excellent condition. Well constructed and balanced with straiught front, well angulated hindquarters and level topline. Flat skull with strong jaw. 2 Russell’s Dyffrynsands Destiny’s Dayto Claravi. Havanese. Sturdy and balanced. Nice soft and silky coat.
AV Toy P 1 Doran’s Limartine Reddy N’Willing, Australian Silky Terrier. 2 Rawlings’ Wollsteiner Black Diamond. 3 Day’s Bratlinda Galway Girl at Monicachi.
AV Toy V 1 Ogilvie’s Ch Pakov I’m a Celebrity JW. Super Champion from the top drawer. Classic head and expression; dark expressive eyes and perfect small, erect ears. Very sound and well constructed with straight front and well angulated hindquarters. Was full of himself on the move, with typical, brisk, buoyant, free flowing action. 2 Lindsay’s Ch Sleepyhollow Sapphire Diva at Anjuli ShCM. Elegant and compact. Correct for size and shape, with good front and rear angulation and level back. High set tail with profuse feathering. Stylish mover with good reach and elevation. Broad skull, short and wide muzzle with good cushioning. 3 Sangster’s Tidos Christmas Gift
Toy Group 1 – Pug, 2 – Pomeranian, 3 – Japanese Chin, Lindsay’s Ch Sleepyhollow Sapphire Diva at Anjuli ShCM, 4 – Miniature Pincher, Shepherd & McLean’s Alcum Very Aussie via Kilmuir. Handsome dog, a little over size for my preference but he is sound and well constructed and moved well with typical hackney action.
Toy Puppy Group 1 – Pekingese, 2 – Pug, 3 – Australian Silky Terrier, 4 – ETT Inch’s Edalene Dark Victory. This dog is faultless when stood, has an excellent ETT outline but needs to grow into himself and settle on the move.
French Bulldog O 1 McGroarty’s Chivasregal Black Cuillin Ardhub. Sound and well built, square head in proportion to body. Dark round eye, typical ‘bat ears’ set high. Gently roached back, strong hindquarters, moved well. 2 Lowe’s Braylah Tempest Storm. Correctly shaped and placed ears, gently roached back, dark and round eye. 3 McGroarty Dicar I’m Oslo Ardhub.
Boston Terrier O 1 Stuart’s Goldenboy’s Tartan Skye. Best overall for size and shape, square skull in proportion to body, dark eyes. Arched neck leading to well laid shoulders, short back, well sprung rib. Moved well. 2 Harkins’ Bogerudmyra’s Janse. Well constructed and sound, but a little long in body for my preference. Liked the head, square with well defined stop, erect and well placed ears. 3 Stuart’s Goldenboy Dunoon.
Dalmatian O 1 Pratt’s Sophtspot in a Heartbeat of Lyndalla. . Very attractive, nicely balanced, sound and well built , well angulated quarters, moved with free, smooth and powerful action. Good head, broad skull, no exaggeration. 2 Waddell’s Luccomes Strawberry Ice. Another nice mover, I felt winner had more substance.
Bulldog O 1 Watson’s Sandars Miss Marmalade. Large skull, in proportion to body with no exaggeration or excess. High set ears, dark eye. Deep chest, strong back with correct rise to the loin. 2 Watson’s Caramel Henryetta. Sound and in good condition, powerful and compact. Large proportionate head with no sign of excess. Moved well
Tibetan Terrier PG 1 King’s Araki Magic Dancer for Karamyst. Attractive bitch, very confident and great condition. Well angulated quarters, nice head and expression. Coat in good condition.
O 1 Pediani’s Routenburn This is the One at Glencoul. Well built and well balanced. Moved very well with smooth effortless stride. Good head with strong jaw, large dark eyes. Good, level topline that she retained on the move. 2 Underwood’s Araki Queen Latifah. Balanced overall, good head and dark eyes.
Lhasa Apso PG 1 Cunningham’s Sifrason Iron Bru with Moyard. Well presented and in very good condition. Dark and oval eyes, heavily feathered ears. Level topline. Moved well. 2 Logan’s Spyanki Heaven Knows. Attractive with dark eye and coat in good condition, moved with jaunty action. 3 Hinshelwood’s Muirfauld Amazing Lace.
O 1 Logan’s Spyanki Oh Happy Day JW ShCM. Well balanced and correct for size, coat in excellent condition with good furnishing on head and legs. Moved with free and jaunty action, maintaining level topline. High set tail, carried correctly over her back. BOB. 2 Hinshelwood’s Wonderwoman Astarte Gold with Miurfaukd. Another quality exhibit, but I felt was a tad too long in body. Correct head and eye. 3 Abercrombie’s Jackantoes Joy Among Tibwood.
Keeshond O 1 Gate’s Ch Lacetraom Shuna ShCM. Very sound and moving well with clean and brisk gait, correctly set tail carried well on the move. Well proportioned, wedged shaped head, dark expressive eyes, ears well set and carried.2 Craig’s Flatmeer Florisel. Sound and well constructed, moved well with brisk gait. 3 Divers’ Ir Ch Kichigai Rare Edition at Murmansk.
Shih Tzu O 1 Grugan’s Warathwaite King Int North De Jardhu. Sound and well balanced, moved with free flowing action, well angulated hindquarters giving sufficient drive. Broad skull with square muzzle, nicely arched neck. 2 Cooke’s Thaisu Devil in Disguise. Well angulated hindquarters, broad skull and large, dark eyes. 3 Grugan’s Jardhu Lord of Fire and Ice.
Tibetan Spaniel PG 1 Abercrombie’s Ravenways Don’t Let Go for Tibwood. Young puppy. Proportionate head and skull, slightly domed with sufficient cushioning. Level topline, moved well. 2 Campbell’s Tulibell Freddie Krugger. Not carrying his tail when moving which was a shame. Coat in good condition.
O 1 Abercrombie’s Tibwood Big Socks. Proportionate head and skull, moved ok. Carried his tail correctly. BOB. 2 Campbell’s Tulibell at Hogwarts JW ShCM. Not in full coat which was a shame. 3 Campbell’s Vonvue Vin Sent to Tulibell ShCM.
Japanese Shiba Inu O 1 Rawlings’ Trixwood Vision of Both Ways. Correct for size, well balanced, sturdy and sound. Moved gracefully with typical lightness maintaining a level topline throughout. Dark eyes, set obliquely; small, triangular ears carried correctly.
German Spitz (Klein) O 1 Spence’s Spencerian Doggy Style ShCM. Judged him here a couple of years ago and still fills my eye. Compact, sound and in good condition. Moved with effortless action maintaining a level topline throughout. Wedge shaped head with broad skull; small high set ears; dark eyes, 2 Spence’s Spencerian Caribbean Queen. Correct for size and shape, wedge shaped head and well balanced overall.3 Spence’s Stormavon Sandpiper with Spencerian ShCM.
Chow Chow O 1 McCallum’s Burlesk Bold Soul Sista. Short-coupled and well balanced. Correct flat skull with moderate length muzzle. Straight forelegs, sloping shoulders, broad and deep chest with well sprung ribs. Moved with short, effortless strides and parallel action. 2 Stewart’s Bojinghai Zeus. Correct shape, good topline, moved well with effortless strides. 3 Stewart’s Bojinghai Devil in Disguise.
Akita O 1 McLaren’s Kumatomo Galway Girl. Powerful, sound and well constructed, fluent and vigorous movement maintaining level topline. Large, broad head with correctly set and carrier ears. 2 Currie’s Diva By Blood Centurion Gladiator. Large, broad head with strong muzzle, smallish eye, well set and carried ears. Good angulation, level topline.
Miniature Schnauzer O 1 Craig’s Siglette Stunner. Sound and in good muscular condition, moving well with drive from rear and good reach in forequarters. 2 Hainey’s Eigg’s Island Delight Lewis. A little long in body. Strong skull, dark eye neat ears.
Poodle (Toy) O 1 Grant & Murphy’s Afterglow Americano at Silvora. Cracking toy poodle with typical ring presence. Sound, well balanced in excellent condition. Motored around the ring with free and elegant action with strong drive from well angulated hindquarters. Perfectly chiselled head, with dark, almond shaped and well set eyes. 2 Harkness’ Little Silver Prince for Senkrah. Well chiselled head, dark eye, moved well.
Poodle (Miniature) O 1 Bruce’s Sarum Shirley Not Donaska. Well balanced, elegant bitch who filled the ring with her perfect sound, free and elegant movement with plenty of drive from well angulated hindquarters. Well chiselled head, with dark, well set eyes and correct expression.
Poodle (Standard) O 1 Caramarvel Iron Man. Balanced and well constructed. Chiselled head with dark eyes, level topline, moved well with good drive.
AVNSC O 1 Collier’s Stoneyburn Banna (Schipperke). Cobby and compact with foxy expression and dark eyes. Sound, brisk movement. Correct coat in good condition.
AV Utility P 1 Grant & Murphy’s Afterglow Love Action with Silvcora. (Toy Poodle). Liked her head, long, fine and well chiselled. Dark eye, low set ears. Moved very well with strong drive from hindquarters. 2 Grugan’s Jardhu Lord of Fire and Ice. 3 Logan’s Spyanki Exclusive Kisses.
AV Utility V 1 Campbell’s Tibbymills Ace of Hearts ShCM, Tibetan Spaniel. Pretty bitch with well proportioned head that she carried proudly. Sound and moving very well with positivity. Well plumed tail that she carried well on the move. Twinkling dark eyes, full of personality. 2 Gate’s Lacetrom Cruive ShCM. 3 Watson’s Caramel Henryetta.
