Italian Spinone

Junior (2 Entries 1 Abs) 1st Turner’s Osulf Pecan Pie 11 m/o Brown Roan Bitch, head of good proportions, with good ear set and eye of good shape and correct colour. She has a good top line which she held on the move, she has a harsh coat which is the correct shade of brown and she has good thick skin. She has enough bone for her age, still to mature to reach her full potential, however she has plenty of time on her side and is where I personally would want her at this age. Showed lovely free and sound movement today, especially in the group. BPIB

Postgraduate (3 Entries 1 Abs)

1st Cruse’s Beardoni Mostly Merengue De La Cruse 23 m/o W/O Bitch Feminine head with good diversion and lovely roman nose. Stood she is well balanced and square, she is well angulated throughout has good depth of chest and good spring of rib and enough bone for her age, she has a harsh coat and moved well to take this class.

2nd Fordham’s Lucoru Catequil At Cloudnine 22 m/o Brown Roan boy very excitable today and making his handler work hard, it made it difficult to assess him but when he did stand I got glimpses of a boy at a similar stage of development to 1st and a lot of the above comments of first could apply to this young man. He is square and of a good size with a lovely harsh coat with a balanced head of good proportion. Lots of potential in this boy and I am sure once matures and gets his head in the game he will do well.

Open (6 Entries 1 Abs) 1st James’s ShCh Inostricani Fiorella (JW ShCM) Almost 5 yr. old W/O quality bitch who is her prime. She has a very typical feminine head with good divergence, pronounced occiput and the best of eyes. Slightly longer than square but she very well balanced throughout which she uses to advantage when moving. Correct top line and good depth through chest and belly line, she is well boned and carrying a good harsh coat, moving very well in this competitive class to take BOB.

2nd Glazik’s Ellisbell Mr Sandman 3 yr. old W/O boy who I judged as a youngster, just coming into his prime. Slightly longer than square, however he is well angulated with good depth to chest and a strong loin, good harsh coat and good oval bone he is well muscled with good second thigh He has a good head with good divergence and correct proportions, happy chap moving well, giving away a bit on maturity to the bitch today to take RBOB
