Irish Red and White Setter

PG(1) 1. Hargreaves’s Ianbro Kamino Sapphire to Forgeway. 2yr old bitch. She has a balanced outline and a pretty head which is in proportion to the body, prominent occiput and good stop. She still needs time to develop and fill out, as she is slightly wide in front and no depth to chest at present, has time on her side though. Good bend of stifle and moved on a good stride.

O(2) 1. Green’s Zendarric Heart Shaped Box with Viszaset. 3 yr old dog. Really liked his balanced outline and strong topline. Masculine head with prominent occiput, correct stop, domed head and earset. Straight front with good bone and feet. Clean muscular neck flowed into well laid back shoulders and also has a good return of upper arm. Good spring of rib, deep chest and muscular throughout. Moved on a good free stride. BOB. 2. Hart’s Sh Ch Gilliegrae Swift N’Chic. 5 ½ yr old bitch. Again another one who has a balanced outline with good head and body proportions. Preferred the front of 1. Good spring of rib and bend of stifle. Moved well.

Italian Spinone

P(5,2) 1. Bennett’s Testaverde Irma Capece Del Hochopepa. 11 mth old brown roan bitch. Classic square outline, lovely head with correct planes, occiput, median line and kind expression. Straight forelegs and large round feet. Excellent front angulation with good length of upper arm and layback of shoulder. Correct topline with slight rise over the loin. Had a free stride and ground covering movement. 2. Gill’s Testeverde Enrico Caruso Del Jocagil. 11 mth old brown roan dog. Litter brother to 1 and lots of the same comments apply but he is longer in outline. Good head of correct proportions, rooflike with a kind expression. Muscular neck into well laid back shoulders. Not as together on the move as 1 but had a good free side gait. 3. Page’s Gradevole Secondo Arancia.

O(6,5) 1. Bennett’s Hochopepa Gladys Emmanuel. 4 yr old brown roan bitch. Correct square balanced outline. Liked her head and furnishings, with correct divergent head planes and good length to ear. Straight forelegs and round feet and a coarse coat. Excellent front and rear angulation with length to upper arm. Correct topline, which she held on the move, with slight rise over loin and slope at croup. Moved really well on a free stride. BOB.

PG(3,2) 1. Smith’s Oakmarsh Elkton. 2yr old brown dog. Well proportioned dog in head and body with an excellent coat. Broad and round head with correct stop, short ears and lips thin. Strong neck into well laid back shoulders, good upper arm and well developed chest. Strong straight forelegs, topline has the sight rise at the hindquarters. Moved very well on a free stride and was good coming and going. BOB.

O(1) 1. Bannister’s Banysun Eliza. 8 yr old bitch. Nice compact outline. Head of good size and proportions with pronounced ‘top knot’ of curls. Straight and well boned forelegs. Well spring ribs carried well back and a short level back. Only just arrived so didn’t have time to settle so moved ok and on a good stride. BOB.
