Terriers 

Airedale Open (2) 

1 Fearnhead’s Singrett Just an Illusion 

At 2 years, beginning to look the part. Lovely type with balanced head of good length. Strong jaws and good bite. Muscular neck leading to sloping shoulders. Straight well boned front. Well ribbed body with strength over her loins. Well developed quarters.  Good coat texture. Best of Breed Terrier Group 1. Pleased to see her go Reserve Best In Show later. Well done. 

2 Shields’ Toulsyork Phenomenal 

Puppy of 9 months showing promise, Balanced in head and clean in neck. Firm level topline. Strong in quarters with good width. Needs to tighten in front but has plenty of time. Puppy Group 2.  

Border Terrier Post Grad (1) 

1 Moore’s Cashel Rock Black Bush 

Sadly alone today, but looked the part. Just 8 months and maturing along the right lines. Pleasing head with keen expression. Strong clean neck Straight in front. Good length of ribs Decent coat for his age. Moved straight and true in both directions. Pleased to award him the Puppy Group and delighted to see him go on to Best Puppy in Show. Congratulations.  

Cairn Terrier Open (3,2abs) 

1 Bowness’ Birselaw Folksong 

Age defying 10 year old! Lovely head with good muzzle and alert expression. Straight in front , elbows tucked in and good shoulder angulation. Good body properties with level topline. Moved steadily. Pleased to award her Group 2 

Jack Russell Post Grad (1) 

1 Stuart’s Katilley Back to Basics 

Pleasing 7 month old. Balanced in head with alert, cheeky expression. Well boned legs and round feet. Level in back with good length of ribs. Moved well form the rear. Needs to tighten in front. Puppy Group 3. 

Soft Coated Wheaten Open (1) 

1 Leverton’s Carkbark Good Luck Charm 

Mature 4 year old with good head, strong neck. Well developed body with good depth of chest. Well angulated quarters. Moved well in profile.  

 

Staffordshire Bull Open (3,1) 

1 Haywood’s Lukes Like Trouble 

8 years Red, strong well shaped head, well-constructed in front with good feet and sloping shoulders. Firm in topline, just edged the runner up on movement here. In lovely condition. Group 4. 

2 Jackson Wainwrights and Spencer’s Roughnecks Noble Quest 

Strongly made through with good head, muscular neck, well muscled quarters with hocks let down nicely. Close decision.  

AV Terrier NSC Post Grad (2) 

1 Evans and Evans Skye Kometa Rossi Bozena at Marodyme 

Appealing 2-year-old. Lovely head with dark eyes and strong muzzle. Balanced in outline with good length of body and level back. Well developed quarters with good turn of stifle. In decent coat. Took time to settle but moved well then. Group 3 

2 Percival’s Sealyham Tyniadgen Deep Shade of Blue 

Almost 2. Happy disposition. Good head with good length of jaw and correct bite. Well sprung ribs. Firm in topline with good strength over the loins.

2 Lukes Like Trouble, Staff Bull Terrier
