Irish Setter

P (7,2) 1 Oakdene Show Me The Money Thendara. Such a baby, but such potential – and has the added bonus of effervescence and a cheeky character. Smart head with beautiful expression, well made throughout this d has great bone and super body. Scores in topline and tailset. Super width of thigh, and stands on excellent feet. Presented in first class order, BP. 2 Bridgella’s Don’t Push It. Close up this one, another nice sort with plenty of potential, just needs to firm up all through as you’d expect. 3 Gwendariff Hands Off Your Mine.

J (1) 1 Balintyne Let It Be Me. A tidy b presenting a feminine outline all through. Appeals in head and eye, and has well set ears. Holds a good topline stacked and moving. Good with to thigh and strength in hock. Moved out very nicely, particularly good coming towards. One for the future!

G (8,3) 1 Gwendariff In The Limelight With Gilliegrae. Presented a smart outline stood up, very typical. Reachy neck and well laid shoulder, leading on to a firm topline. Well ribbed back, has strength in loin. Balanced in hind angles with width and strength, well muscled up and presented in good coat. Moved out well to take this class, however his brain seemed to leave the building in the challenge and I think he was more interested in the ladies than the job in hand! 2 Balintyne Let It Be. 3 Blazing Bronze Eye Candy.

O (4,1) 1 Teleri Indian Summer (AI). Smashing b of super type and with great femininity and the classic racy outline. Beautiful head of balanced proportions and a good eye. Super front assembly with good angles and straight limbs. Well ribbed back and firm in topline, strong in loin, with a well set on tail. Balance in rear, excellent width to thigh and strong in hock. Stands on great feet and moved out with impulsion. BoB. 2 Balintyne Freda Payne. Another super sort, and similar remarks apply to the winner, however this young lady’s mind wasn’t on the job - she had her party head on! 3 Swiftlark First Knight.

Retriever (Labrador)

P (7,2) 1 Warringah’s The Bluff. Well, I was a bit taken with this one! What an exciting prospect – liked everything about this precocious baby at this stage, I think he’s just superb. Head, topline, ribbing, tail, coat, movement; everything I found to be just right. One destined for the top. BoB & BP and delighted to see him take G2 & PG2. 2 Baileydale Rondo. Quality young yellow, with good shoulders and presented in fit condition. Wasn’t quite so good in feet or so together on the move as the winner at the moment. 3 Beautiful In A Flash.

J (7,3) 1 Baileydale Mrs Tiggywinkle. Topped this mixed class as she was the best on the move going around. Nice headshape, strong neck and topline, and stands on good feet. In good coat and condition too. 2 Potterspiney Silas. Smart sort this d, however wasn’t showing much enthusiasm for the job and didn’t want to use his tail. Appeals in head and overall balance and moved out well enough. 3 Mattand A Million Dreams For Thirlmere.

G (7,3) 1 Mattand A Million Dreams For Thirlmere. Made from a smaller mould, but a tidy sort with many breed attributes. Has a super coat, and was presented in great order. Showed very well using her ears and tail to advantage. 2 Linthwaite Saffron. Close up to the winner and another decent sort, however she was tending to pace a bit on the move so kept throwing it away today. 3 Beautiful Ella Firestorm.

PG (6,3) 1 Mattand A Million Dreams For Thirlmere. 2 Linthwaite Excalibur. Strong headed yellow, but showed with enthusiasm and scores in tail and feet. 3 Halloran Phoenix Over Luckswarren.

O (7,3) 1 Carromer Jack Flash To Baileydale. Upstanding male with an imposing outline, and he showed well throughout. Masculine all through with strength. Good head and eye, strong reachy neck and firm in topline with a well set on tail. Stands squarely over his hocks. Moved out really well, well handled. 2 Potterspiney Killian. Nice outline on this dog when he was stacked up, and handler does a great job with him. Just a bit wide when moving towards. 3 Marshwiggle Shakespeare at Rovoakar.

AV Gundog

P (28) 1 Thornywait Lunetta. Quality feminine Golden Retriever b who really excels on the move. Liked her make and type all through; she is balanced and with quality bone and great body. Super head and eye, one to watch! 2 Gunalt Vettel to Hantzburg. Top quality Weimaraner with a glorious head. Super balance throughout, standing on strong limbs. Moved out very well indeed. 3 Tollekin Caife Americano.

J (14) 1 Bitcon Camden. A superstar in the making, this Vizsla b has really come on since I judged her as a raw baby. Super for type, balanced throughout and in first class condition. Appeals in head, balance of angles, and a superb moved. Shines with vitality, and one the move she covered the ground so well. 2 Kalimor Parker, Weimaraner. A big lad, but with a kind expression and standing on good feet. Presented in great condition. 3 Tollekin Caife Americano.

G (15) 1 Maddouse Tail Spinner. Very feminine Golden Retriever, with a pretty head and good eye. Has balance throughout, and is in super condition. Particularly excellent on the move, her side gait clinched her the win here today – my word, she can cover the ground! 2 Fanmatrix Mightnight’s Dream. Smart pointer d, not the largest, but of great type and presented in super condition – he was gleaming and in superb coat and skin. Another who moved out very well with a correct length of stride and minimal lift. 3 Dacan Sharp Spear.

Liked her outline and balance all through, and she moved out so well with merry action and good use of her tail. 2 Hillpark Queen Bee For Cerysan. WSS of feminine outline, pretty head and well constructed all through. Another who was a very good mover using the large ring to her advantage. 3 Haydengold Rock Star at Sunandair.

Appealed in outline, holds topline very well both stacked up and on the move. Drives strongly from low hocks. 2 Sh Ch Phensett Blue Max. Very smart type to this ESS who was another giving it his all on the move. Super head, good balance and construction all though, and presented in great coat and condition.
