G (1) 1st Ward-Walker’s Eblanahalls A Fine Half. 11 month old dog. Good for size, shape and overall type. Masculine, balanced head, correct eye and bite. Generally well put together. Needs further training to learn the job in-hand. Moved ok. Coat of a pleasing colour and texture. BOB & BP.

Scottish Terrier

G (1) 1st Dodds’ Highland Butterfly. Mature 6 year old bitch. Pleasing head of good shape and length. Dark, expressive eye, Scissor bite with large teeth. Well set ears, Correct ribs and overall shape. Tail ok. Moved well.

O (1) 1ST Turner’s Lomondview Lady Sadie At Gingawan. Mature wheaten bitch. Liked her head length and shape. Good eye and expression. Well set ears of correct size. Deep chest, excellent ribs, topline and body. Correct tail set and carriage. Good coat texture. Moved well enough but could drive more at the rear. BOB & G2.

AVNSC Terrier

O (2) 1st Griffiths’ Brocolitia Point Of Fire. Easy winner here. Ultra-smart WFT. Good square outline. Excellent head piece. Correct eye shape. Strong muzzle and scissor bite with large teeth. Muscular neck, balanced angles and low set, firm hocks. Excellent coat for colour and texture. Moved out well holding his tail bang on top at all times. BAVNSC and G1.

2nd Dodds’ Bireslaw Stand With Me. Very good Cairn Terrier. Much to like on the table. Excellent head, correct skull and strength of muzzle and well balanced. Lovely expression. Moved well but carrying a bit too much weight. Correct coat.

Dachs (Min L/H)

O (1) 1st Drady’s Indiko Destined To Be Cream. Pretty 2 year old bitch. Pleasing outline and shape. Good to go over on the table. Correct head shape and dark, expressive, almond eyes. Holds her topline well at all times. Moved out well from profile but can settle further out and back. BOB.

Dachs (S/H)

G (1) 1st Steel & Aitken’s Demorg an Princess Margaret. Feminine, pretty bitch pup of just 6 months. Still learning the job but gave a good account of herself on her show debut. Pleasing head, correct conical shape and good balance between skull and muzzle. Scissor bite. Ears set well. Good reach of neck, bone and feet. Holds her outline well although a shade long in loin at present. Moved well, just needs to gain a bit more confidence. BP. 

O (1) 1st Steel & Aitken’s Morailsa Secret Romance For Demorgan. Mature b/t bitch. Carrying a bit too much weight but gives off an overall pleasing picture. Good head and expression, correct keel, firm topline, good angles and moved out well in all directions. BOB.

Whippet

G (5) 1st Metcalfe’s Gazenorth Secret Mission. Feminine, shapely fawn bitch. Liked her for size and function. Correct head, eye shape and expression. Good angulation with correct topline once relaxed. In hard muscular condition and moved out soundly in all directions.

2nd Cannon’s Pursenet El Captain. Fairly tall dog but gives off a typical outline. Good head, reachy neck, correct angles and topline. Moved well but can settle coming towards. Well handled and presented.

3rd Hardcastle’s Dotalot Miss Honey. BP.

O (2) 1st Hardcastle’s Collooney Nickers In A Twist. Liked this bitch very much. Correct size and femininity but not compromising on body or bone. Lovely head and eye. Correct ears. Well made all through, standing on oval feet. Good muscular condition. Well presented. Moved very well with sufficient reach and drive. BOB and G2.

Rhodesian Ridgeback.

G (2) 1st Scanlon’s Kinabula’s All About The Bass. Liked this strong, well bodied bitch very much on the stack. Strong head, flat skull, correct stop and strong muzzle. Correct round eye. Good ear set and carriage. Strong, muscular neck, balanced angulation. Tight feet. Good coat and even colour. Moved well but think she may have benefited further in an outdoor ring to really get into her stride. Comfortable BOB winner.

2nd Hall’s Matsushona Fire Opal Of Cynami. Well grown, strong, masculine boy of a lovely rich colour. Excellent head and expression. Strong bite. Generally well made but lacks some forechest. Moved ok. Well presented.

O (2)Hall’s Kenquince Pisonia Of Cyami. Overall a pleasing type and shape. Good head, enough length, strength and well balanced. Good reach of neck leading to a sound front. Holds his topline firm at all times. Good hind quarters. Moved well in all directions. Well handled and presented.

2nd Scanlon’s Sharufa Dream Maker. 7 year old, mature bitch that carries her age well. Good strength of skull but could be stronger in muzzle, perhaps. Round, expressive eye. Well set ears. Good conformation and moved out well.

Saluki

G (1) 1st Bloomfield’s Glenoak Laquan. Long head, shapely and typical. Oval eye, strong scissor bite. Good length of ear, well set and feathered. Good reach of neck, angulation and bone. Stands on functional feet. Moved with a good length of stride. Just feeling the cold today as tended to stand a bit hunched-up.

O (1) 1st Burtenshaw’s Fernlark Snow Grouse At Daandazi. Eye-catching cream bitch of sound, functional type. Shapely outline, Lovely head and far-reaching expression. Correct ear set and length. Good angulation and feet. Moved out very well showing reach and drive. BOB & G4.

AV Imported Register

O (2) 1st Wyer’s Melisent Du Sentier Des Caillottes. Griffon Fauve De Bretagne. Lovely type and size. Good head, dark eye, scissor bite, Medium neck leading to a well angled front. Deep chest for her size. Strongly muscled quarters. Excellent harsh, weather-proof coat of a rich, even colour. Sound in all directions, carrying her tail at the required level. Best AV Imp. Reg. & G3.

2nd Wyer’s Otis Du Rec De La Borie. BP. Another Griffon Fauve. Just 7 months but learning the job well. A confident pup of pleasing type and conformation. Easy mover.

AVNSC Hound

P (1) 1st Walker’s Orange Fizz Of Swala Pala. Basenji bitch of just 7 months. Pretty head, good eye shape giving the desired expression. Well set and used ears. Balanced outline for her tender age. Tail could be tighter. Moved well in all directions, just a shade close going away. BP NSC & PG2.

O (3) 1st Pockington-Hall’s Merlin DO Casal Dos Choupos. A really functional little hound with a great character. Head of moderate length and strength. Strong muzzle. Oval, dark eye. Well set ears of correct length. Deep chest, Good angles front and back. Really moved out well, driving off low set hocks. High set tail, carried correctly. Good coat and well handled. Best NSC and G1.

2nd Eldabe’s Davricard Belladonna For Rosamax. Feminine Beagle bitch. Liked her size. Lovely head and expression. Good to go over on the table, just a bit long in loin. Moved well.

3rd Taylor’s Amarillo Rose. Irish Wolfhound.
