Tibetan Terrier

Thanks to the exhibitors for accepting me as an emergency stand-in Judge.

PG(3) 1st Betts’ Q’Karma For Tibettsi From Heaven’s Earth. Masculine dog. Pleasing for type and square outline. Good head proportions. Large, dark eye, good pigment and tidy bite. Medium neck, good depth of chest. OK in shoulder, upperarm of good length and well laid back. Large feet. Firm topline. Excellent hind angulation. Low, strong hocks. High set tail. Excellent mover. Coat still to finish but good texture and well prepared. BOB.

2nd Rutley & Keulers’ Sumanshu Pretty Woman At Javey. Loved the shape and femininity of this black bitch. Correct head, moderate neck and angulation front and back. Pleasing overall conformation and in good coat. Although sound in all directions, not quite the scope of 1st on the move. Well presented.

O (3) 1st Jones’ Long Coat Glorious Sunspot. Glamourous s/w dog. Good overall square shape and holds himself well at all times. Pleasing head but could be stronger in muzzle. Medium neck, well developed chest. Good angles and stands on large feet. Moved well but could drive more from the rear. Excellent coat for texture and presentation.

2nd Betts’ Gandaki Baron Zeiland. Smaller dog but still masculine. Equally pleasing for type and shape. Good head and pleasing to go over on the table. A bit shallow in chest but generally well put together which reflects in his sound, typical movement. Coat not at its best but has a good texture.

Shih Tzu

Sp. Yearling (3) 1st Silsbury’s Jadoremy Red Bounty Legacy. Mature 11 month old pup. Masculine outlook. Pleasing head, large eyes and correct bite. Good neck leading to a soundly made front. Good topline, short loins and well angled rear. Correctly set and held tail. Excellent coat. Free mover. BP & PG3.

2nd Diffey’s Marhilway Strictley Edged. Feminine bitch. Appealing head and expression. Good conformation and typical outlook. Moved with a sound, easy action showing enough pad. Lovely coat and condition.

PG (1) 1st Silsbury’s Jadoremy Dashing Hero. Good looking dog. Pleasing head and muzzle. Large, dark expressive eyes. Strong neck, Sound front and rear. Short loin. Easy, free mover. In good double coat.

O (2) 1st Silsbury’s Jadoremy Thunderbolt Zuse. Good type, masculine and presents a lovely outline both on the stack and on the move. Pleasing head, strong muzzle and expressive, large eyes and nice arched neck. Good front and bone. Firm topline. Excellent spring of rib. Moderately angulated rear leading to short, firm hocks. High set and carried tail. In full double coat that was prepared to best advantage. Moved well from profile, a shade unsettled going away but showing some pad. BOB.

2nd Diffey’s Marhilway Edge Related. Ultra feminine bitch. Appeals for her typical outline and lovely head and expression. Good conformation and strong bone for her size. Tail could be better set and carried. In good coat. Moved soundly.

Poodle (Minature)

O (1) 1st Cann’s Sunmarca Moonlight Shadow. Pretty black. Good shape. Head has good length, chiselling and nicely proportioned. Almond shaped, dark eye. Scissor bite. Reachy neck leading to a nicely angled front. Firm topline. Short loin. Excellent rear angulation. High set tail. Excellent harsh coat, beautifully presented. Pleasing mover with typical outline and carriage. BOB.

Dalmatian

Sp Y (2) 1st Thorne’s Castletop Beau Brummell. 10 month old dog. Strong and masculine but not overdone in any department. Shapely head, strong neck, moderate angles. Just needs to fill –in front and generally mature all through. Free mover.

PG (1) 1st Bridge’s Keirdal Moulin Rouge At Akoni. Well balanced bitch. Liked her overall shape and functional outlook. Good head, eye and bite. Reachy neck, balanced angles front and back. Excellent body, coat and muscle tone. Excellent mover, plenty of scope, reach and drive. Well handled and presented. BOB.

O (2) 1st Ward’s Shulune Fantasy Red Dragon. Masculine liver spotted dog. Nice enough head, excellent reach of neck. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Firm topline. Well muscled quarters. Lacking depth of chest. Good bone and tight feet. Scopey mover with plenty of reach and drive. Good spotting.

2nd Thorne’s Spotiray Billy Elliot Of Castletop. Thought on first look this well balanced dog would be my winner. Lovely head and expression. Strong neck. Good overall conformation and is well bodied and in hard condition. Well spotted. Moved well out and back, just not the extension of 1st.

Keeshond

O (2) 1st Marshall’s Arabesque At Devonia. Super youngster from any angle. Beautiful wedge-shaped head. Small, well set ears. Dark, almond eye. Scissor bite. Moderate neck, balanced angles front and back. Excellent coat of good colour and well defined markings. Moved briskly and soundly. Liked him a lot. BP, BOB & PG2.

2nd Marshall’s Torrikees Made In Heaven At Devonia. Ultra-feminine bitch. Lovely compact outline. Excellent head piece. Correct ears, used to best advantage. Good to go over on the stack. Excellent coat for texture, condition and presentation. Easy mover. Close-up to her kennel mate.

Tibetan Spaniel

Sp Y (2) 1st Bevis’ Starlance Follow My Way. Really super pup of 10 months. Great potential and of lovely type, size and typical outlook for the breed. Gorgeous head and expression. Medium neck. Well made front and rear. Typical topline, short loins and stands on tight, oval feet. Well set tail, carried highly on the move. Excellent coat and presentation. Pleased to award him BP, BOB and PG1. Will follow his career with interest.

PG (2) 1st Hall’s Balgay Kitang Po. Masculine dog of lovely type. Good head, correct skull shape and good width and depth of muzzle. Excellent eye shape and colour giving a soft expression. Tidy bite. Well set ears of correct size. Moderate neck, deep chest, good topline, and angles. Strong bone and stands on good feet. Excellent mover from profile, just a bit wide going away. In good coat, well presented.

2nd Turner’s Lydanstone Betsan For Turcel. Feminine bitch. Pleasing size. Shapely head and soft expression. Generally well made all through. Lacking coat at present. Moved ok.

O (1) 1st Bevis’ Balgay Ma Linette Of Starlance. Pretty bitch. Gives off a well balanced outline. Typical head and expression. Well set and used ears. Good conformation and bone for her size. In good coat and condition. Moved well in all directions.

Boston Terrier

PG (1) 1st Scipio & Lightfoot’s Mallbarton Destiny To Taravon. 11 month old bitch that has the ‘cute’ factor. Pretty, square head. Good eye and ears. Tidy bite. Square outline. Shapely topline. Stands on tight feet. Moved well from profile and coming towards, can settle further going away. BP & PG 4.

O (1) 1st Scipio & Lightfoot’s Taravon Shooting Star. Confident showman that gives off a pleasing compact outline on the stack. Good head shape and excellent square muzzle. Correct eye and well set, thin ears, used to enhance his expression. Medium neck with some arch to it. Good chest, spring of rib and shapely topline. Good angles. Moved ok. BOB.

French Bulldog

Sp. Y (4) 1st James & Thompson’s Bamabell Brigitte Bardo. Fawn bitch. Loved her head. Good shaped skull, fine wrinkles and excellent muzzle with good dentition. Open nostrils. Excellent ear set, size and used well. Thick neck, chest developing well. Moderately angled. Correct topline. Good body and correct tail. Moved very well once settled. Res BOB.

2nd Brooks & Cairns’ Corursus Under The Ivy. Judged this lovely clear pied recently and still rate her very highly. Equally pleasing in head and expression. Good to go over on the table and typical outline. Moved very well and unlucky to come up against 1 today. Close-up.

PG (6) 1st Corursus Under The Ivy.

2nd Mulryne’s Mactawbay Stop ‘N’ Stare Avec Frenetbull. 7 month old fawn pup. Head coming along well, pleasing muzzle and clean, open nostrils. Good eye and ears. Strong neck. Good conformation and body for his age. Moved ok.

O (4) 1st Brooks & Cairns’ Corursus The Glamourous Life. Super brindle bitch. Substantial but still retains her feminine charms. Excellent head piece. Open nostrils. Well set and used ears. Moderate neck, strong and leading to a well made front. Good depth of chest. Correct ribs and excellent topline, showing desired roach. Excellent quarters. Moved out well . Good coat and condition. BOB & G3 in a strong Group.

2nd Stidwell’s Lairdstom Oban Bay Boy At Beaufrogz. Pied dog. A shade on the big side but a good overall type. Pleasing head shape. Correct eye and ears. Good conformation and bone. Stands on tight feet. Moved well but rather affected by the heat today.

Eurasier

O (1) 1st Lacey & Mallory’s Albionspitz Rigel. Standing alone today but a worthy representative of this charming breed. Well grown and at 18 months still needs to develop fully. Pleasing wedge-shaped head. Medium, well set ears. Dark, oval eye. Medium neck. Good angles. Excellent coat and condition. High set tail. Free mover. BOB.

AVNSC Utility

O (1) 1st Bull & Warren’s Ch. Zaralee Hussell & Bussell With Starferry. Really appealing Shar Pei bitch. Eye-catching on the stack. Super head, clear eyes of good shape. Small, thick ears. Good bite and pigment. Muscular neck. Medium angles front and back. Just right for wrinkles with clean skin. Excellent coat. Moved soundly with moderate reach and drives off the soundest of hocks. Good tail. Maybe feeling the heat a bit but no denying her qualities and was pleased to award her BNSC and G1.

2nd Stidwell’s Wasoe I Got The Girl At Beaufrogz. Pretty, feminine Frenchie. Georgeous head and typical expression. Ears of correct size and set. Good conformation and bone. Tight feet. Topline a bit flat. Excellent body and condition. Moved well.

2nd Bevis’ Ch. Malia The Next Verse By Starlance. Tib. Spaniel. Two worthy Champions of their breed, 9 years old and both looking fabulous here. Both have excellent conformation and were in excellent coat and condition for their age. Difficult to split them and could easily change places on another day. Both moving and showing well.

2nd Green & Brain’s Cachel Pop The Question ToMeloneras. Pretty blue roan Cocker bitch. Lovely compact outline. Pleasing head, dark eye giving the softest of expressions. Good to go over on the table. Moved out well with typical ‘merry Cocker’ temperament.

3rd A At Devonia. Keeshond.

Sp. Beginners Stakes (36) 1st Baulch’s Erinnis Mignonette. Feminine Whippet bitch. Clean-cut outline. Good curves with correct topline. Pleasing head. Scopey mover and sound in all directions.

2nd Roger’s Lorecon Daybreak At Lunafox. Smart SFT bitch. Compact outline Well balanced all through. Long, shapely head. Excellent eye shape. High set ears. Good conformation and movement.

3rd Hall’s B Kitang Po. Tib. Spaniel.
