Good body shape with gentle roach. Correct tail. Needs to grow on a bit but has good bone and feet. Lovely broken markings on the clearest of white background. Confident mover.

2nd Almond Flower. Another 6 month old pied. A real character and enjoying her time in the ring. Pleasing head, ear set and conformation. Good body for her age. Moved very well in all directions. Would prefer less ticking in her coat, but patches sufficiently broken.

BVIS: A pleasure to judge the final for BVIS at this excellently-run Open show and I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for the invite. There was no disappointment with the condition or performance of any of the Veteran Group winners, especially after a rather lengthy wait to get into the ring. BVIS was the Basset Fauve De Bretagne, Ch. Hibeck Scooby Doo With Soletrader. A real showman that fills the eye on the stack and on the move. Good to go over on the table. Lovely head and the softest of expressions. Good body, coat and condition. Powered around the ring using his well muscled quarters to best advantage. Really enjoying himself and totally deserved the top spot. RBVIS the classy Dalmatian bitch, Dalstorm Black Orchid, who didn’t stop showing for a minute. Good head, feminine and gives off a balanced outline. In good body and muscle condition. Excellent spotting. Moved out well, covering the ground with ease and freedom.
