Thank you to the committee for asking me to judge at your show. I had an enjoyable day at this well ran show and good weather had been ordered. Thanks to my steward on the day.


Weimaraner

Puppy (3/2)

1.Rayner & Maskell’s Kalimor Accolade to Raytsans JW: a strong young male with good bone. He has a kind expression with correct ear set and length, head planes of good proportions. Shoulders well laid, chest well developed and of good depth and ribbing. Strong loin leading to nicely angulated rear quarters. He moved soundly using his rear to drive. BPIB RBOB

1.Copeland’s Gunalt Wondrous At Stridview (AI): A moderate bitch with balanced angles fore and aft, feminine head and kind eye. Level top line, brisket reaching to elbows. Good turn of stifle and hock let down. Moved well.

1.Rayner & Maskell’s SH CH Gunalt Academy of Raystans JW SHCM: a solid male, shown in very fit form. Stands on tight feet, straight forelegs with good lay of shoulder and length of upper arm. Rib cage well sprung reaching into a short, strong loin. Correct angulation of the hindquarters and great muscle coverage. Powered round the ring with a balanced action. BOB

2.Reilly, Rayner & Maskell’s SH CH Smilek Eyes Of Silver JW: a lovely bitch with a pleasing expression and correct skull proportions. Adequate length of neck into good shoulders. Length to height ratio is balanced, chest well developed leading to a nice tuck up. Moderate turn of stifle and good hocks. Moved with reach & drive.

1.Butler’s Silverstre The Red Women: 22 m old bitch of good size and correct coat colour. A pleasing head shape and eye. Neck strong and moderate in length. Chest deep and well sprung. Level top line stood and held on the move. Hindquarters of good shape, moved with a smooth action round the rin

1.Hardcastle & Bradley’s Vizslanya Sziena JW: a lovely bitch displaying a balanced outline. Good head planes giving the noble appearance, ears set on low. Neck clean and strong leading to well laid shoulders, upright pasterns, tidy feet. Chest of good depth and measurements. Moderate turn of stifle, hocks straight and strong. Flowed round the ring with an easy trot. BOB

2.Bradley’s Highforce One Vision: An other lovely bitch with moderate angles all round. A feminine head with good length of neck. Back level and strong in to a muscle croup. Elegant on the move with good reach. Just preferred chest development of 1. RBOB

3.Tate’s Oldgillhead Laksi.

1.Whiting’s Navarro Del Fatalbecco At Cragvallie (IMP Italy): really liked this 7 m old boy. Displaying nice size and shape at this stage, with good bone and correct coat. Head planes developing well with an intelligent expression. Neck reaching into well laid shoulders & straight forelegs. Stifles moderate and hocks let down. Moved well once settled. BPIB.

1.Foster’s Belatarr Venus: an all round honest medium size bitch with a kind expression, skull broad and rounded, ears sitting close to cheeks. Moderate neck flowing into good shoulders. Adequate length in body, level top-line, chest deep with nice ribbing. Firm hindquarters of moderate angulation. Strong movement covered the ground well.RBOB

1.Heslop’s Lyharr Flavio Akos For Bonisla: shown in very fit form, well muscled athletic appearance. Stands on tight feet with arched toes, straight forelegs with good upper arm and well laid shoulders. Muzzle of correct length compared to skull. Carries the right length to height ratio, back level which is held on the move. Used his hindquarters to his advantage on the move to drive with power. BOB

2.Whiting’s IR CH Cragvallie Zenit: a powerful looking male with plenty of bone. Strong head planes with good wire coat on muzzle. Well-laid shoulders into straight forelegs. Ribs reaching well back in to a firm loin. Clean rear angulation and tidy feet. Not quite as animated on the move as 1 today.

Puppy (2/1)

1.Hudson-Smith & Cotterall’s Fancyguns Dancing Queen: a lovely young lady with good bone and substance. Muzzle and skull length of equal measure, straight deep muzzle, ears set correctly. Neck clean and strong, shoulders set apart and well laid. Chest down to elbow and of good width. Good turn of stifle and strong hocks. Moved with a balanced, reaching trot and. BPIB

Graduate (3/1)

1.Sanderson’s Owlspoint Trouble Again: A strong male with good oval bone and displaying the almost square shape. Lovely head shape and a kind eye. Ears of good length and set level to eye line. Neck firm and set onto well laid shoulders. Good depth and ribbing of chest. Loin strong and wide. Adequate rear angulation. Powered around the ring freely with good drive. RBOB

2.Hudson-Smith & Cotterall’s Fancyguns I Have A Dream: another nice young bitch, well off for bone and displaying correct overall size for her age. A feminine head of correct type and soft expression. Straight forelegs and clean feet. Shoulders well laid and long, chest deep and well-sprung. Stifle well turned and hocks straight from the rear. Moved well covering ground.

1.Sanderson’s Owlspoint Trouble At Mill SHCM SHCEX BWNL’18: The best of movements, displaying the classic powerful trot, clean coming and going away. Super muscle. Correct length to hight proportions with nice oval bone. Muzzle deep with the slight arch, ears of good length. Neck rounded and strong sitting on nice front assembly with elbows in line with withers. Chest well-sprung and deep. Rear angles in unison with fore. BOB

2.Adamo’s Zakro Vito: a mature looking boy with good bone. Nice length of muzzle and skull with a kind eye. Ears long and set on correctly. Shoulders have good width and laid well back, forelegs straight. Good depth and width of chest into a wide, short loin. Nice length to thigh and turn of stifle. Moved out well making good ground, just not as clean as 1.

1.Kitchen’s Crumpsbrook Rather Regal Von Elkemutt: A sturdy bitch who looks like she could do a days work. Good breadth to skull with ears set high. A strong neck running smoothly in to well laid shoulders, chest deep and fore chest of good width. Strong top-line of correct shape, lion firm and correct croup. Hind quarters well muscled and angled. Sound movement with a free gait and good reach. BOB

2.F, D & Putnam’s Asterpoint Faraday: a nice bitch with good body proportions, tight, tidy feet. Clean, feminine head planes and kind eye. Good front assembly with rear angulation in unison. Adequate depth of chest and moderate tuck. Loin muscular into wide hips. Moved with a springy stride. RBOB

1.Cocking & Barnaby’s Bonapartist Odette At Ruskinite: A lot to like about this youngster. Displays the correct, coby body shape with clean neck and well set on to good shoulders. Well proportioned, feminine head planes with an alert expression. Moderate rear angulation and good feet. Moved with a positive brisk stride. BP, BOB.

1. Clayton’s Lampaul Louis: A lively boy who today was a little unsettled. Good shape to skull with muzzle parallel. Neck strong and of correct length. Shoulders ok, straight forelegs with a slight slope to pasterns. Rounded rib cage, top line correct. Rear quarters muscled and moderate turn of stifle. Moved ok. RBOB
