Puppy D/B 1st – Mr R Cramphorn, Yelxba Bonnie, Irish Wolfhound, Best AV NSC Puppy & Puppy Group 4. Quality young bitch of good size and shape. Lovely long head and dark eyes. Well built with good bone and strength yet still graceful. 

Junior D/B 5/4 1st Mrs L A Cox, Carlincox Pure Gold JW, Rhodesian Ridgeback. Beautiful well balanced bitch with intelligent kind expression. Good reach of neck, deep chest and well sprung ribs. level topline and clearly defined ridge. Moving with free and easy action. A pleasure to award her Best AV NSC and Hound Group One later in the day.  2nd Mr P W Osbourne, Derochaise Vincezo Di Braego, Very impressive Standard Wire-haired Dachshund with well balanced head, dark almond shaped eyes and strong muzzle. Long clean neck into strong well made front assembly, level topline and balanced hindquarters. Moving with excellent reach and drive.  3rd Miss D & Miss J Melbourne & Murray, Culdaws Hearthrob For Diheath, Basset Hound. 

Post Graduate D/B 7/5 1st Mrs M H Fulcher, Classicus Amani at Khandibah. This male Saluki is graceful and elegant yet still has strength . Masculine head, long supple neck and well muscled back with slight arch over the loin. Lovely smooth effortless strides. 2nd Mrs K J Culyer-Dawson, Diheath Cola Cube. Very pretty young Basset Hound bitch with a beautiful head and long well set supple ears, strong jaw and correct mouth. Long deep body with prominent breast bone. Well ribbed, level topline and strong hindquarters. Lovely powerful mover. 3rd Mrs S Marshall, Soufriere One Vision JW, Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen

Open D/B 8 1st Mr P W Osbourne, Braego Gladys Aylward ShCM Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, Reserve Best AV NSC. Beautiful well built bitch with very smart outline. Feminine proudly carried head with large, dark oval eyes, square muzzle and well set ears. Long strong neck into well laid back shoulders. Level topline and strong hindquarters. Moving with ground covering strides and driving from the rear. 2nd Ms J Clanford, Canapus Fortuna. Feminine young Saluki bitch with lovely head and kind expression. Dark oval eyes and correct mouth. Long supple neck, good topline and balanced hindquarters. Very well handled by her young patient hander. 3rd Mrs S Marshall, Silvamoon Saffron at Soufriere, Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen. 

Whippet 

Puppy D/B 6 1st, Best Puppy in Breed & Hound Puppy Group 1. Mrs C A & Mr B J Reeves, Veredon Voyage Voyage at Chrispan. Very pretty Brindle bitch of good side and shape for age. Pleasing well proportioned head with flat skull and good jaw line. Long elegantly arched neck into well laid back shoulders. Deep chest down to elbow and ribs well sprung. Strong hindquarters and moving with long easy strides. 2nd Miss V L & Mr S J Lockyear & Price, Ronchanelli Dazling Deni. Quality well built brindle male with good topline and strong hindquarters. Lovely sound mover. 3rd Ms C Price, Railfield Rainomen for Silkdance. 

Junior D/B 1 1st Mrs S M Reece. Saleehah Sarafina. Lovely head and overall shape to this bitch with strong well angulated hindquarters and moving with excellent powerful action. 

Post Graduate D/B 4/2 1ST Mesdames E D & D M Bass & Hall. Shalfleet Zante Star at Silverfrith JW. Pretty bitch with good head and expression. Bright oval eyes and good underjaw. Good length of neck into well laid back shoulders . Deep chest down to elbow and correct underline. Strong balanced hindquarters. 2nd Mr J H Richardson. Laving Briz Darcy Nimble of Elbryden (Imp Blr) 4 year old fawn bitch . Deep chest down to close fitting elbows, good topline and well angled hindquarters. Not in as fit condition as I would prefer. 

Open Dog 4/3 1st , Best of Breed & Hound Group 3. Mrs C A & Mr B J Reeves, Huntinghill Jazzmagician at Chrispan. 4 year old male of good size and shape. Masculine head with bright oval eyes, rose shaped ears and strong jaw. Elegantly arched neck into correct front assembly and firm topline.balanced hindquarters and lovely sound mover. 2ND Mrs S M Reece Danluke Disco Dancer at Gabledene. Masculine male with firm topline and strong well angulated hindquarters but preferred the front assembly of 1. Moving well powering from the rear. 3rd Miss V L & Mr S J Lockyear & Price. Ronchanelli Welcome News 

Open Bitch 3 1st & Reserve Best of Breed, Mrs C Wilson’s Demerlay First Kiss for Hamiltonhill. At nearly 10 years of age and not showing her age at all. Beautiful bitch which is so well made with elegantly arched long neck into well laid shoulders and good front assembly. Firm topline and balanced hindquarters. Sound mover. 2nd Mrs C A & Mr B J Reeves Chrispan Forget Me Not. Feminine bitch with lovely head and length of neck. Good topline and well angulated hindquarters. Sound mover but preferred the front assembly of 1. 3rd A J & D M Guyton. Sudalaw Lush Lashes with Ansanda.

Mrs C A & Mr B J Reeves, Huntinghill Jazzmagician at Chrispan,4 year old Whippet male of good size and shape. Masculine head with bright oval eyes, rose shaped ears and strong jaw. Elegantly arched neck into correct front assembly and firm topline.balanced hindquarters and lovely sound mover.                                                                                                                                  HG4. Good reach of neck into well placed shoulders and correct front assembly. Firm level topline and strong hindquarters. Lovely sound mover.

Just 6 months and so much to like about him. Lovely head and expression with dark almond eyes and good ear set. Long clean neck and firm level topline. Correct front assembly with balanced hindquarters. Moving so well for one so young.                                                                                                                   HPG3 Mr M G & Miss K Smith & Horton’s Black & Tan Coonhound Coonsar Hill to High Water at Morganbury . Very pretty 7 month old bitch with a lovely feminine head and alert expression. Dark eyes and well set ears. Chest down to elbows, well sprung ribs and good tail set.                     HPG4 Mr R Cramphorn Irish Wolfhound, Yelxba Bonnie. Quality young bitch of good size and shape. Lovely long head and dark eyes. Well built with good bone and strength yet still graceful.
