Thankyou very much for inviting me to judge at this well organised show, with a small hardworking committee.

I had some lovely well presented dogs. Thankyou to my efficient stewards Elaine and Lesley.

Gundog Group: 1. Maddison: Jaymardy Hidden Secret JWSHCM. Golden Retriever. Wow! Took my eye as she entered the ring, standing she presented a balanced outline with level top line. Moved true with parallel gait, driving from strong hocks. Beautiful expression, strong neck, correct angulation fore and aft.

2. Nicholson & Brown: Chanangel U'Got The Look Flat Coated Retriever. Very sound dog throughout. Best of muscle, correct bone, topline and taiset. Fabulous freemoving, straight and true gait. Pushed Goldie hard for top spot.

3. Bell & Maddox : Owlspoint Master of Trouble SHCM Bracco Italiano.

4 Chandler : Chanangel Mistletoe ‘N' Wine. Welsh Springer Spaniel .

4. Towers & Henderson . Carnaval Dorado Pirate Soul. (Imp ESP) 11 month lovely youngster. Kind expression, deep rib and correct hind angulation with well developed muscular thighs and well lent down hicks. Moved soundly.

American Cocker Open 2 (1)

1 Steel &Jefferson Misticolas Kickin Up Dust at Shanamber: Well presented glamorous dog in full coat. Correct head with well defined stop and eyebrows, low set ears. Deep ribs and sloping top line to well angulated hindquarters. Would have preferred more muscle tone. BOB

Cocker Spaniel Junior 2 (1)

1 Dolan Wilanorah Never Say Never: 9 month dog. Kind expression, correct balance. Strong compact body, deep in brisket. Correct hind angulation and tail set. Initially messed about on the move but when settled moved soundly. Sympathetically handled

Cocker Spaniel Post Grad 4(2)

1 Yilmaz: Kalispell Kisim Kelpie: Really liked this 3 year old merry cocker. Long neck to well laid back shoulders. Well developed chest, elbows tight in, short coupled to muscular hindquarters with correct bend of stifle. Moved soundly with ever wagging tail

2 Palmer Dreamist Rock'N' Rye at Colmeir: Mature, compact dog. Deep in brisket with well sprung ribs. Correct hindquarters.

Cocker Spaniel Open 3

1 Peterson Cassom Moonbeam JW : Gorgeous bitch. Beautiful head and expression. Well padded cat like feet, So sound with correct angulation fore and aft and well muscled throughout. Short from hock to foot which gave her correct driving action. Lovely girl. BOB

1 Calvert Calvdale Stowaway Magic; Kind expression, low ears in line with eyes. Strong neck to well laid back shoulders, a well balanced bitch with correct angulation fore and aft. Clean outline. Moved soundly in tune with handler. BOB

2 Calvert Calvdale Unequivocally: This nice bitch was giving her young handler a very hard time, but credit to the handler she persevered. A well muscled bitch, good spring of rib and correct coupling. Tight neat feet.

1 Chandler Chanangel Dujardin: A two year old bitch with melting expression, feminine throughout. Long neck to well placed shoulders, deep in brisket and well sprung ribs. Sadly had a tendency to move a little wide in front today

1 Chandler Chanagel Mistletoe ‘N'Wine: Absolutely gorgeous 14 month bitch. The kindest of expressions, melting eyes, long muscular neck to correct shoulders. Carrying just right amount of weight. Her markings enhanced her angulation. Well balanced short hock to foot. Parallel gait driving from rear. BOB and group 4

Sussex Spaniel Open 3 (1)

1 Hetherington Serendel Sussex Escapade: Well developed dog with correct head and soft expression. Strong neck, slightly arched. Deep well developed chest, short strong legs. Hindquarters muscular. Moved true with Sussex roll.

2 Mowbray Crumbledor Hermione: A young bitch with balanced shape and angulation. Neat feet, moved soundly.

German Shorthaired Pointer 4(1)

1 Mann Valger Ragnar : Just turned 6 month boy. Very pleasing. Loved his soft intelligent expression. His outline was balanced with short back to correct hindquarters with well bent stifles. Slightly dropped his top line when standing, puppyish I think, but on the move his top line was firm and he had good forehand reach and drive from behind. BP and Puppy Group 3

2 Mann Elfrindew Lacey to Valgar: Initially thought this would be my winner, but preferred front of 1. Beautiful head and expression. Long muscular neck. Deep chest, well sprung ribs, long muscular thigh. Sound as a bell behind.

1 Thorne Mabanika Fascinator: Loved the overall balance of this bitch, not requiring any help from the handler to stand correctly. Good expression, long neck to well laid back shoulders. Long well sprung ribs and correct coupling to good hindquarters with well developed muscle which she used on the move. Should have a bright future. BP and Puppy group 1

2 Thorn Mabanika Stetson. Litter mate of 1, similar remarks apply, bitch more together at the moment.

1 Rayner & Maskell SH CH Gunalt Academy of Raystans JW SHCM. 4 year old fully mature dog. Deep, well sprung ribs. Best of fore and rear angulation and well muscled throughout. Moved sound and true. BOB

Irish Setter Post Grad 4 (2)

1 Glasper Esbrown Lord Of The Dance at Denetop Mature dog, well presented in full coat. He has kind intelligent expression, low set ears. Long, strong neck to well laid back shoulders. Beautiful outline. BOB

2 Barker Danaway Tully at Flinthill: Just out of puppy, very kind feminine expression, head of correct proportions. Best of shoulders. At the ‘in between stage” but should have z promising future. Moved soundly and well handled

1 Glasper Eusnit Action Master at Denetop : 5 year old mature dog very kind expression with almond shsped eyes. .Clean throat , deep, well sprung ribs. Wide powerful hindquarters, short from hock to foot

1 Luke Teisgol Far Horizon for Fleurfield: Mature dog with long muscular neck to well laid back shoulders. He has tight elbows and neat oval feet. He is deep in brisket, muscular hind quarters. On the move he had good forward reach and driving rear action and lashing tail

2 Barker Ragus Let's Get Moving at Flinthill. A very promising puppy who took PG2. Excellent expression and earset. Clean muscular neck to good layback of shoulder. Well sprung ribs and short coupled. True on the move.

1 Bell & Maddox Owlspoint Master of Trouble. Bracco. Love this boy. He is made right, so sets himself up, and the handler does not mess with him, so pleasing to see. He is well constructed, deep ribs, correct head and soft expression. Long sweeping hindquarters, correctly set tail which he used on the move. Group 3

2 Summers Burnished Showers by Summervilles. An immaculately presented Clumber who pushed 1 hard. Totally balanced dog with excellent bone. Well muscled, moved straight and true, looked like he could work all day.

2 Yilmaz Kyna Toyah Battersby Cocker Spaniel Just 6 months. Beautiful head and expression, low set ears. Correct angulation fore and aft. Neat feet. Moved happily and soundly with wagging tail. Lovely puppy.

1 Nesbitt Yorkham Fred Bear from Chabrouille SHCM Sussex Spaniel. Presented a balanced picture standing and maintained his top line on the move. He is well muscled and has neat feet. His coat felt like velvet, sound as a bell.

2. Bell. CrookriseThe Medlarat Owlspoint JW SHCM Pointer Quality dog, balanced standing and stylish on the move with driving hind action. Refined head with good stop. Long neck to well placed shoulders. Well sprung ribs.

3. Palmer. DreamistChasing Rainbows Cocker Spaniel.
