The North East of England Toy Dog Society Open Show March 2019

CKCS

Minor Puppy Dog (2/1)

1st: Parsons’ “PEAKDOWNS MARCOPOLO AT ANJOMIL”.

7 Month old handsome Blenheim boy, stood alone in this class. Good shape and size for his age, moved well on the day and was a very pleasing exhibit. I will watch this one as he matures!

Puppy Dog (3/1)

1st : Rix’s “RICKSBURY ROYAL HERITAGE”. BEST PUPPY, BEST DOG & BOB

11 month old handsome Blenheim boy, loved his head with large dark eyes, well set ears and a very gentle face, quite mature. Well laid shoulders, very good neck and shoulders with a good topline, well set tail carried well on the move. Overall a very well-balanced masculine type starting to come in good coat and was a delightful exhibit. Very pleased to award him Best Puppy, Best Dog and Best of Breed, also placed Toy Group 4 and Reserve Best Puppy In Show at this Regional Toy Open Show, what a wonderful result for him and his breeders.

Post Graduate (2/0)

1st: Crane’s “CRANVARL WASHINGTON”.

22 month old handsome Blenheim Boy, liked his head with large dark eyes, well set ears framed a very good expression, good topline and angulation. Moved well and was in good coat. A very pleasing exhibit.

2nd: Hindle’s “SPINDLEPOINT DONOVAN WITH ELLISIANA”.

2 year old blenheim boy with a happy character that however took some time to settle. Cast slightly longer and taller than the first exhibit, also not quite so handsome, but moved well however and was well presented.

Veteran Dog/Bitch (3/0)

1st: Walker’s “KOROLEVSKY IOSIF SHCM”.

11 year old blenheim boy still in good condition and a credit to his handler. Movement stood out in this class with a very happy confident and out-going character.

2ND: Bell’s “LANOLA SAVILLA OF CHRISTABELLA”.

7 year old Blenheim girl still also in good condition and health, lovely eyes and head, moved well and still has a good coat. A very pleasing exhibit.

3RD : Scott’s “LORPHIL LALIBERTIE”.

Minor Puppy Bitch (2/0)

1st: Hall’s “PEAKDOWNS CILLA AT ROOTESSMA”.

7 month old very pretty Blenheim girl with lovely eyes and a very expressive face. Liked her size and shape, good angulation and movement. A very well pleasing exhibit.

2ND: Turnbulls’ “PEAKDOWNS CONNIE”.

Litter sister to the first exhibit and also a credit to the breeder of both. Slightly larger than the first exhibit and I preferred the prettier face also of her sister. It will be interesting to see how both mature in their future show career.

Puppy Bitch (3/1)

1st: Gibb-Stuart’s “OVER THE MOON DE LOS URSIDOS KODIAK”, BPB

11 month old very pretty blenheim girl, still petit at this age, but what a glorious little girl with plenty of coat that she showed off very well. Loved her movement and character. One to certainly watch in the future.

2nd: Ward’s “BEAUCO CHANTILLY LACE”.

11 month old Blenheim girl, slightly taller and longer in body than the first exhibit and I certainly preferred the overall look and prettiness of the winner of this class. Moved well however and responded well to her handler.

Junior Bitch (4/2)

1st: Richardson’s “KRINGLEHOME MOSAIC”.

15 month old pretty well broken Blenheim girl, loved her large dark round eyes, reasonable coat, good topline and angulation, moved well and was very elegant. Stood out in this class.

2ND: Parson’s “CASTLEWYCH MOONLIGHT AT ANJOMIL”.

17 month old heavily marked Blenheim girl, good pigment and topline, moved well, but carried her tail a little too high for me, spoiling her overall look.

Post Graduate Bitch (3/0)

1st : Waters & Bryson’s “SWEETBRIAR SORBET”.

13 month old very pretty Blenheim girl that stood out in this class, large dark round eyes, god neck and shoulders, good topline and angulation, reasonable coat, moved very well, a very pleasing exhibit, hard to beat in this class.

2nd: Ward’s “BEAUCO DOLLY MIXTURE”.

4 year old heavily marked Blenheim girl, nice eyes and movement, but I preferred the prettiness and overall picture of the first exhibit.
