What a privilege to be asked to officiate for the well-oiled and professionally run open show on the South Coast. My sincere gratitude to the exhibitors who brought their dogs in great numbers from me to go over. To those who accepted my decisions with grace and enjoyed their day out.

1st Protheroe Picollo Teckel True Love at Royalmaple (Rus Imp)

10m red bitch, overall very typical with conical head, arched skull. Dark almond eyes, correct bite with full dentition. Good bone, very good keel. Sound moving both fore and aft. Muscle developing well. Should have a bright future. In great condition.

1st Protheroe Picollo Teckel Tick-Tack at Royalmaple (Rus Imp)

10m red dog lovely typical head and expression with dark eyes. Correct bite with full dentition. Overall great type, very sound on the move with a level top line. Gained confidence before my eyes. Handler got the best out of him. In excellent condition BP & RBOB and pleased that he went onto win the Hound Puppy Group. I will look forward to hearing more about these siblings in the future.

2nd Butterstone Joshottos Orange Blossom

12m bitch deep red, great head with dark eye, correct bite, good bone, moved well behind with drive, could be tighter in her front assembly. Showed well.

1st Reed Deercroft Daybreak JW

B/T bitch loved her overall breed type, correct head, eye and expression. Very balance overall with good bone, great on the move, sound both fore and aft with reach and drive. Liked a lot. BOB

2nd Protheroe Royalmaple Evil Edna

Although I liked her head not the strength of 1, correct eye, good body and good on the move when she gained her confidence. Just not a polished performance as 1.

Red bitch 5 ½ lovely head and expression, correct bite, long level top line and strong on the move, liked on the move although front could be tighter.

2nd Protheroe Royalmaple Daphne Blake

Overall good type although I preferred the head of 1, this girl was tighter in front than 1 but did not have the driving rear. Dark eye with correct full dentition, in good condition.

Bitch 10m overall very good type, with a great head and keen expression, correct bite and good bone. Good shoulder could drive a little more behind but time and muscle will help this. Well presented. BP & RBOB

23m Cream bitch, very a typical head with correct keen dark eye, correct bite, good shoulder with a straight front, well made behind. Which was used well on the move. Good tail set and carriage. Harsh jacket/ BOB & Terrier Gp 4

10m bitch, typical racy lines with strong bone, correct head with good ear carriage, eye and correct bite with strong jaw. Correct feet free from cracks, moved and showed well, has a promising outlook. BP

 2 ½ male great size overall, correct bone, liked his head eye and correct bite, good harsh jacket in good condition, racy outline. Good tail set and carriage, good feet RBOB

Lovely overall size and good type, liked her head, eye and jaw with correct bite, good bone, sound on the move both fore and aft. Very good condition and well presented. Showed too advantage. Good feet BOB

2nd Nolcini Holbeam Celtic Kate ShCM

Also has a lovely head and expression, overall good type, good bone, correct feet not as sound on the move as 1.

6m old Scottish terrier without doubt I wanted to take her home!, typical shape and type although very young, great bone, flat skull, keen dark eye with correct bite, good expression with correct ear carriage, well rounded ribs full chested, very sound both fore and aft even at this young age, correct top line with good tail set. A bright future BP & Puppy GP 2.

12m SFT Tri b, good strong bone, I liked her head and expression with good chiselling, correct bite, tight feet, good on the move when settled moving with drive when settled to her task, great tail set and carriage, good condition.

2nd Pagram Torcraig Purely by Chance

6m Scottish dog, litter sibling to my puppy class winner. Similar in type but more masculine, gave an awful lot away in age to my class winner. Short backed level top line, time can only help with his confidence in the future, in great condition.

Cesky Correct size and type, great head proportions, with good eye and bite, very correct overall. Good shoulder placement with a good front. With slight rise over the loins and tail set carried in a typical fashion. Good bone and feet. Presented in a great trim and moved with purpose and drive delighted to award him Best AVNSC & Terrier GP 1

2nd Rogers Lorecon Daybreak at Lunafox

SFT I liked her type and size, correct bite, of good type and fairly sound on the move. In good condition, presented well.

SBT Brindle & White strong headed, with correct bite and jaw, good eye, correct bone, moved very well in good condition.

1st Rodgers Janski Theodore Cesky

This Cesky ouzed breed type, I could forgive his upper size due to his absolute balance type and showmanship. Greatest of heads with typical eye and jaw with correct bite. Well laid shoulders into the most typical of outlines with a slight rise over the loins. Well constructed rear quarters with well muscled drive to propel around the ring which he did none stop. In amazing condition and at one with his handler

2nd Jones Perfect Love Di Sutri at Laserna (Imp Ita) JRT

Although young could not deny this sweet feminine JRT Group 2. Absolute type albeit low to ground not short on leg, which showed on the move. Was able to cover ground with ease and in an effortless way. Most correct of head and eye, with correct bite and jaw. Excellent shoulders and great rear. Good tail carriage in good condition with a good coat, pleasing markings. Moved and showed so so well for a youngster and without doubt has a bright future. I will be watching in the future.

3rd Brewster & Green Stowthorney Wicker Man Border

Most typical of heads with correct eye stop and jaw with correct bite. Good neck into well laid shoulders, could be a little longer in upper arm. Good shape of rib with good length with a short loin. Racy shape on the rear with good muscling Good tail set and carriage. Decent Pelt with correct double coat and great texture. Could have a little more reach I front to complete the picture. Showed well.

4th Goldfinch Tycadno Bright Star for Kanawha Cairn

Cream with a good type, Keen eye and a balanced head with good ears. Good neck into good shoulders, balanced throughout construction, Most correct of coats, good in front, could be stronger in the rear. Good carrot shapes tail.

Terrier Puppy Group

1st Jones Perfect Love Di Sutri at Laserna (Imp Ita) JRT

So many praises already made for this little starlet who incidentally was judged by Heather Turner who has without doubt has huge experience with this breed. Again permed her socks off to be awarded group 1.

2nd Pagram Torcraig Classic Pearl Scottish

So young with so much promise, this 6 month old Scottie pushed expremely hard for winning the puppy group. Great overall type and in a small stocky package, Head with good proportions with a strong jaw. Very large teeth. Keenest of eyes, Strong neck going into well laid shoulders, good upper arm, large boon with good feet. Good barrel ribs with a short loin. Strong rear with great propulsion. Short back with a level top line. Moved and showed well and in good condition.

3rd Medhurst Grizzledale King of War Border

Blue and Tan border with a feminine otter like head strong jaw with big teeth, Correct shape eye, good neck into well laid shoulders, good bone, straight front. Could have a better length of upper arm. Correct ribbing with a short loin. Racy in the rear and moved with drive covering ground. Good tail set and carriage. Correct pelt. In good condition.

4th Mcintyre Celtic Charm Cairn

Promising cream Cairn, overall good type, good head eye and bite. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Correct ribbing, good loin. Well carried tail. In a good jacket. Shown in good condition. Showed well enjoying her day out.
