I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge a super selection of Hounds in such a fantastic location at the Addington Equestrian Centre.

Puppy (4,2)

1, Timms Carlincox Golden Aura 10 month old Bitch, clear red wheaten coat, feminine head type of correct proportions, correct scissor bite, good length of neck onto correctly angled shoulder, good infill of chest, well boned front onto tight feet, good depth of chest and well ribbed back, level topline, correct tail insertion, good bend of stifle, low set hocks, moved out well in profile and straight coming and going. BP

2, Hancock’ Stasimelsie Mace 9 month old Bitch, red wheaten, good head and correct bite, good lay of shoulder, adequate depth of chest with good ribbing, good topline, correct rear angulation onto tight feet, moved out well.

Special Yearling (4,3)

1, Jeffery’ Mirengo’s Machinga At Rexgrove 19 month old Male, substantial well boned hound, correct hound head type with good width across the skull, good stop and depth of muzzle, correct bite, lovely length of neck onto correctly angled shoulder placement, excellent infill of chest, well boned forelegs onto ideal tight feet, good depth of chest and length of ribbing, good length of loin, level topline, good rear angulation with lean muscled 1st and 2nd thighs, ideal low set hocks, set onto good feet, excellent movement in profile with lovely forward reach, straight coming and going, best movement on the day. BOB

2, Hicks’ Nuthouse Queen Of Clubs JW 18 month old Bitch, lovely feminine head, with good width, correct amount of stop, ideal depth of muzzle, correct bite, excellent length of neck onto good lay of shoulder, good infill of forechest, good depth of chest with ribbing well back, level topline and good length of loin, correct tail carriage, nicely angulated hindquarters with lean muscled 1st and 2nd thighs. Lovely low set hocks. Moved out elegantly in profile and straight coming and going.

1, Vincent’ Imola I’m Your Man At Jematti 2 year old Dog, well boned substantial hound, masculine head of correct proportions, good stop and depth of muzzle, correct bite, good length of neck onto correctly angled shoulder, excellent forechest and well boned front onto tight feet. Good depth of chest and well ribbed back, level topline, lean muscled hindquarters, low set hocks, moved out well in profile but could have done with a larger ring to see his full movement.

Open (4,2)

1, Catharell’ Ch Fahaac Free N’easy JW ShCM 5 year old Male, Liver nose with correct colouring, houndy head type with correct skull width and muzzle length, good stop and clean lip, correct bite, ideal length of neck and good lay of shoulder, gun barrel front with good chest infill, tight feet, excellent depth of chest and well ribbed back, good length of loin, level topline, correct tail carriage, lean muscled hindquarters with good bend of stifle onto low set hocks, stood like a rock, moved out well in profile and straight coming and going. 2, Hicks’ Nuthouse Hot Stuff 4 year old Bitch. Feminine head, good length of neck onto good lay of shoulder, good forechest, correct depth of chest, well ribbed back, level topline, nicely angulated hindquarters, with low set hocks., moved out well in profile, straight coming and going.
