Chihuahua Long Coats & and Smooth Coats

I Had a lovely day judging, thank you to my steward Joy for all your help, hard work and keeping the classes running smoothly, and for your lovely photography skills! Much Appreciated. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for their lovely entries and their support. I was informed by the secretary of the club that I had drawn in the largest entry they had ever had for Chihuahuas! Which I was very pleased about.

It was touch and go as to whether I would be able to fulfil this judging appointment as I was originally going to go with my mother but unfortunately, she had an accident with her horse and broke her leg! But luckily a friend was able to take me which was fortunate.

Pretty 6m old cream bitch , lovely apple dome head, good length of muzzle with a definite stop. Correct scissor bite, Beautiful pigmentation, with large round eye. Ear leather just needs to strengthen up a bit but I think this is due to teething. Very happy little girl today and very full of herself. Well laid back shoulders, straight topline and high tail set carried over the back. Good turn of stifle. Moved well and enjoyed her day I was pleased to award her BPIB.

1) CULVERHOUSE’S BABY BOOM MANO EFEKTAS WITH LYKATH JW (IMP LTU)

I have always admired this boy and today he didn’t disappoint. He has a very strong masculine headpiece with large dark eye and good stop with a correct scissor bite. Well laid back shoulders into Straight foreleg which was set well under the chest which gave him the correct moment in front. lovely arch of the neck which leads to a superb level topline which he kept his balance throughout. Correct high tail set, strong hindquarters, moved extremely well with a brisk forceful action. In excellent coat was pleased to award him BOB and delighted to hear he got TG4.

2) AYRES JUCHI HILDA OGDEN

Lovely little girl showed well. Good length of muzzle and correct earset. Movement in front was quite wide, elbows were out even so her shoulders were well laid back and lovely deep forechest, level topline and a lovely turn of stifle.

1) BRADSHAW’S LYKATHS SERENITY

To say I really loved this girl would be an understatement! She got my attention the moment she entered the ring I could barely keep my eyes off her! So feminine dainty and compact. She had the most beautiful textbook headpiece, correct length of muzzle and stop with lean cheek and perfect scissor bite along with correct earset. Deep forchest leading to a straight front and dainty little feet. Lovely arch of neck leading to a beautiful level topline with a high set tail. Her movement for me was outstanding I was so blown away by her she was a very strong contender for BOB just unfortunate she dropped her tail at the last moment in the challenge, which spoilt her outline. The only problem with this girl is she’s not MINE! RBOB

2) AYRES HAPPY CHIDONNA AT JUCHI (IMP POL)

Lovely strong masculine part colour dog, up to size. In good coat lovely head and scissor bite with large dark eye and large flaring earset. A bit short on the foreleg. But set well under a deep forechest Slightly short in the neck but lead to a level topline. Happy boy enjoying the day.
