Thank you to Bridgend & DKA for my invitation to judge the Toys and Toy Group at their Premier Open Show. It was a very well-run show with a wonderful atmosphere, so congratulations to the committee. The weather forecast of severe wind and rain was not encouraging, and I’m sure responsible for most absentees. Thank you to the exhibitors, I was thrilled with the quality of my entry and spoilt for choice in the Groups. Judge Amanda Orchard (Manatek)

1ST PHILIPS Tillymist Dream Beliver – 23 mths Blenheim bitch. Lovely expression, flat skull, shallow stop, round dark eye, correct bite. Adequate front angulation, kept topline at all times, good depth of chest and spring of rib. Needs to firm in hind movement. Correct tail set. BOB

1st PHILIPS Tillymist Cracking The Code – 23mths Blenheim dog. A tad strong in head, would prefer a more gentle expression. Adequate angulation fore and aft, kept his topline at all times. Well ribbed and good depth of chest. Tail set and carriage spoilt the overall balance

1ST GRAHAM’S Chigra Ice Crystal, Cream bitch 2yrs - Sweet expression, with good head properties. Well laid shoulders. Kept topline at all times. Moved and showed well. BOB

1ST GRAHAM’S Chihgra Markas, Cream dog 3yrs – not the head properties of winner in PG, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, slightly short in back. Moved well.

1ST CALVERTS Somergemz Bottycall – 11 mths Super little Gold bitch – loved her head properties and expression. Good length of neck set onto well laid shoulders. Height to length ratios gave the correct overall balance. Such an outgoing attitude she literally just bounced around the ring which made it impossible to assess movement and this lost her BPIB.

2ND GREEN’S Ellochi A Million Dreams 7mths Gold and White- Another lovely puppy with pleasing head properties, good neck on to well laid shoulders. Raw but still well balanced throughout. Sadly not showing his best, a little overawed by the venue.

1ST GRAHAMS Donami Jenson Button - 14mths Cream dog. Up on size but a real showman. Lovely head properties. Balanced and moved well with confidence.

2ND GREENS Ellochi This Is Me - 6 mths Bitch, again a lovely showgirl. Would prefer a more defined doomed skull but had a lovely eye, and ear placement, alert expression. Correct bite. Well balanced with the correct height to length ratio. Kept her topline at all times. Moved well for age. BPIB

3rd MINTONS Mariko Hit Love Bianka (Imp)

1ST MINTONS Donami Dazzle Me, Cream 18 mths. Excelled in head properties. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Kept top line at all times. Well set tail carried correctly. His overall proportions were very pleasing. Moved well. BOB

2ND GRAHAMS Chihgra Pearly Button, Cream boy 2yrs, another pleasing type but longer cast than winner. So just losing on overall balance. Moved well keeping topline.

1ST BARANZECK Capevidles Licence to Thrill, Gold sable girl with outstanding head, good eye and correct bite. Super front assembly. Kept topline on the move and standing. In good coat and carried tail well. Her hind movement let her down as she lacked any real drive.

2ND GREENS Ellochi Chasing Stars 17mths, sable & white. A lovely type with adequate head properties, correct bite. Good front. Lost topline on the move.

1ST PRICE Yarms Miss You Tuppence, 9mths fawn bitch, compact with unexaggerated head or wrinkle, lovely size and topline, strong neck, good rib, correct angulation, very well balanced & moved well. BPIB TPG3

2ND CROTHERS Hazempugs Luna, Fawn bitch, 18mths, another lovely type, good size, lovely head again not over exaggerated. Good length of rib, moved well, just needs to firm in topline.

3rd LINNETT Conquell Champers on Ice

1ST BEACH Just a Glance, Fawn boy of good type and size. 22 mths. Broad head, lovely eye. Strong neck onto correctly angulated shoulders, followed through to short cobby body. This chap moved well keeping correct topline.

2ND JONES Caedrenant Joyful Jessiie, Fawn bitch, 3 1/2yrs. Head carried more wrinkle and a tad too full in eye. She kept her topline on the move and was correctly angulated.

1ST CROTHERS Hazempugs Boris Johnson. Fawn dog, 2 ½ yrs. Super size and type. Excelled in head and eye, with the best expression. Short strong neck, super front and short cobby body. He moved with style keeping topline and having the correct typical unexaggerated roll. BOB

2ND LINNET Conquell at a Glance JW 4yrs, Fawn male. Another super compact type with a breed typical head and expression. Lovely topline and overall balance. He was a tad loose in hind movement giving an over exaggerated roll to the gait.

1ST CURRIE Faehat Fascinator. 6mths bitch. Super head with coal black eye good fringe and harsh jacket throughout. Moved well for one so young, just needs to firm in topline which should come with maturity. Well set tail, carried correctly. BPIB

1ST CURRIE Faehat Fedora. 2 yrs male. What a character, lovely head proportions with dark eye. Short back, good proportions throughout with correct angulation. Well set tail carried well. Moved ok. BOB

2nd CURRIE Venustus Dyeamond Showgirl for Faehat. 8mths. With a super character typical for the breed. Good head and expression, small, doomed skull with a definitive stop. Slightly long cast in body which also affected her topline. Super jacket. Moved well.

1st SKIVINGTON Ajatiaza’s Uno Due Tre. 11mth Hairless bitch. Lovely type. Super head properties, with the darkest of eyes. Clean muzzle. Graceful neck into well laid shoulders. Well balanced. Good tail set and carried well. Moved with reach and drive but just a tad unsettled at times. BPIB

2nd SKIVINGTON Ajatiaza’s Seirs Coming. 16 mths Powder Puff. Another lovely girl. Classic head with darkest of eyes, elegant neck into well laid shoulders. Well- proportioned throughout. Needs to build confidence to really show of her best as this detracted from her qualities and affected movement.

1st DALE Sigyns Summer Breeze. Coming up to 5yrs old and what a super type this bitch was. Of the correct size and breed type with the daintiness and style of a toy breed. Classic head and expression. Graceful neck onto well laid shoulders. Well ribbed body of medium length. Level topline. Well angulated hindquarters. Moved with grace, elegance and drive. BOB TG2

2nd SKIVINGTON Ajatiaza’s Cherish Me. 2yrs. Lovely head on this bitch but would prefer a darker eye to really captivate the expression. Graceful neck onto well laid shoulders. Good topline and moved well.

1st HAWKINS Lasagesse Sheselectric. 10mths Bitch. Good size and overall type. Correct head properties, dark almond eye. Well set ears. Elegant neck, well laid shoulders. Correct topline. Good front movement just needs to tighten behind. BPIB TPG4

2nd CROSS Penmarlam Sweet Sunshine Over Pedara. 11mths Bitch. Smaller overall than 1. A neat and tidy girl with good head properties. Correct topline. Moved ok.

3rd COX Pelugias Light Up My Life at Petitpaws

1st COX Pelugias The Secrets Out at Petitpaws. Quality bitch of correct size and overall breed type. Pleasing head and expression, graceful neck on to good shoulders and straight front. Correct topline. Rounded loin, good turn of stifle. Moved well. BOB

2nd WARREN Pedara The World Is Mine. 11mths Dog. A very promising puppy full of breed type. Classic head properties. Straight front. Correct topline. Pushed hard for BP but lost out as a little erratic in movement.

1st DIXON HARDWICK Puplicity All I ask. 7 mths bitch. Good head properties, refined neck, well laid shoulders. Kept topline at all times. Happy outgoing attitude. Just needs to tighten behind. BOB & BP

1st WHITE Palteemoor Princess Zumie at Nihonqin. 16 mths. This girl had a super head, correct eye, short wide muzzle. Nicely angulated throughout. In super coat and condition. Up to size. Moved ok.

2nd WHITE Palteemoor Princess Kasumi at Nihonqin. 18mths. Loved her head properties and size. A very nice bitch but sadly was not at all settled on the move and very erratic behind.

1st ROONEY & GREEN Swifthocks Paws for Thought. 2yrs bitch. This lovely bitch excelled in breed type. Her head was exquisite with the correct expression, broad skull and short wide muzzle. Moderate neck, compact body, level topline. In fabulous coat and condition. Movement was straight and with purpose. BOB TG3

2nd WHITE Palteemoor Prince Kamin. 18mth dog. Pleasing head and expression. Larger type overall. Moved ok.

1ST THOMAS Meritorous Billy Joe. 9mths. This dog had the most fabulous head, wide and flat between ears, round dark eye, short wide muzzle, firm underjaw. Correct ear placement. Short neck. Well laid shoulders on to compact body, well ribbed. Moved correctly. In super coat and condition. BP TPG2

2ND THOMAS Meritorous Caralinka. 6mths Bitch. Another with super head properties. Smaller all through than 1. Just lacked confidence and needs to firm up in hind movement.

1ST THOMAS Meritorous Perfect Ilusion. This boy just took my breathe away. 2yr old who had the most wonderful head properties, wide and flat between ears, round dark eye and short wide muzzle. Excellent pigment. Firm underjaw. Short thick neck. Well laid shoulders. Compact body. Adequate ground clearance enabled this boy to move so well and with the correct rolling front gait. In full coat, and tip top condition. BOB TG1

1ST KERCHEY Hydefinition Jazzy Justin ShCM. 4yrs. Graduated stop, medium dark eye, a little strong in head but nonetheless a pleasing expression. Good falls with correct tan, dark steel blue body coat of excellent texture. Moved well.

1ST KERCHEY Adjodene Golden Thread ShCM. 6 yrs. Preferred this boys head properties and overall size and balance. In excellent coat and condition for age keeping his tan and steel blue colouring well. Moved well. BOB

Well angulated shoulders, good length of rib, level topline. Moved well when paying attention to handler. BIR BPIR

2ND COX Petitpaws Plack Pearl. KCS 3yrs. Loved the head on this girl and overall type but was just not working with handler and was very difficult to access.
