Golden Retrievers 

Puppy (1) 

1st & BP Manton’s Chinnordale Dancing Queen 

8 month old quality pretty bitch with a balanced head of correct proportions, good eye colour giving such a lovely kind expression.  Well angulated front assembly, super level topline, strong rear quarters.  Loved her overall scope and balance, she moved with a good long and easy stride. 

Junior (1,1 abs) 

Post Graduate (15, 4abs) Such a lovely class to judge 

1st & BOB Quill’s Hosarvar Ninito 

Symmetrical and balanced are words to describe this quality dog. He has a superb head and expression, skull of equal proportions, dark brown eyes giving a kindly and intelligent expression. Clean through neck and shoulders, correct front assembly, balanced body with good depth to ribs but correct leg length, superb level topline with correct tail carriage standing and on the move.  His rear quarters are strong with good turn of stifle and well let down hocks.  He has a lovely long and free stride when his handler moves him at the correct speed.  He was in tip top condition with super coat to finish the picture.  

2nd  & RBOB Hush’s Benrowen Esprit 

A bitch I have admired before but today she wasn’t quite in full bloom, her quality and construction could not be over looked, she is a lovely bitch, another with a lovely head of correct proportions, good eye colour giving a kind expression, clean through neck and shoulders with good front assembly, level topline and well developed quarters, she is an excellent mover showing good reach and drive.

Limit (2, 1w/d) 

1st Wells Pearlbarn Pot of Gold 

5 year old male with lovely head and expression, good reach of neck, a bit heavy in front for my personal taste but he had good lay of shoulder, he scored in body with good topline, good quarters and in super coat and condition.  Moved well. 

Open (5, 2abs) 

1st Barbers St Vincent Golden Gun from Swansreach ShCM 

Super 6 year old male in peak condition, superb head and expression with skull of good proprtions, clean through neck and shoulders with good front assembly, strong level topline, excellent quarters and a sound, free mover.   

2nd Hughes Aymsbury Albertino 

Another lovely headed male, for my preference he was a bit heavy in front which just spoilt his overall balance, good neck, level topline, strong, well muscled quarters.  A powerful dog who moved well when settled.
