Minor Puppy Dog (1, 0 Absent)

1. Lockwood’s Trimscott Ernie Wise. An enthusiastic 8 month old, presented in good condition with coat of acceptable depth and texture for his age. Head of excellent length and proportions with a dark eye and correct bite. His forequarters are well constructed with moderate length of neck. He held his topline level both in standing and on the move. Best Puppy In Breed.

1. Lockwood’s Trimscott Ernie Wise.

Junior Dog (1, 0 Absent)

1. Hill’s Tahgmor Take Charge. At just 16 months old this boy has a promising future with a profile that is true to breed type. He is short coupled and well proportioned with excellent width and depth throughout and plenty of forechest. Presented very full in coat. A pleasing head of good length and proportions with ears well set and a dark, almond-shaped eye. He moved well coming and going but did not hold his topline as well in profile as the Best Dog winner. Reserve Best Dog.

Post Graduate Dog (1, 0 Absent)

1. Hill’s Tahgmor Take Initiative. Litter brother to the Junior dog winner, low to the ground and equally true to breed type, these two boys made my choice for Best Dog a difficult one. Although also presented full in coat, he has an equally pleasing head and expression to his brother, is moderately angled throughout with excellent width and demonstrated both balance and power on the move with tail set well. Best Dog.

1. Hill’s Tahgmor Take Initiative.

Junior Bitch (1, 0 Absent)

1. Redfern & Bushell’s Whistling Wind Of The Glen. This 16 month old black bitch is well proportioned throughout with good depth of chest, moderate length of neck and good tail set. Her head is feminine with a dark eye and ears set well. Moved well coming and going. She lacks the maturity of the winners but this should come with age.

Post Graduate Bitch (4, 1 Absent)

1. Webster’s Glengracie Miss Mercury. At 2 years old this wheaten bitch is maturing well with good with throughout, adequate depth and well rounded ribs. Presented in excellent coat and condition, she has a well-proportioned feminine head with ears set on top of her skull, a dark eye and intelligent expression, moderate length of neck into a well set shoulder with moderate angulation throughout. She moved well both coming and going and in profile and maintained a level topline on the move. Best Bitch, Best of Breed.

2. Becquet & Darby’s Minorlines Royal Imperial Bescott. A size smaller and finer than the winner, this beautifully presented bitch is true to breed type, low to the ground with excellent width and depth, and short coupled. She has a feminine head of good proportions and a pleasing expression. She moved well coming and going with muscular hindquarters and good bend of stifle. Reserve Best of Breed.

Open Bitch (3, 1 Absent)

1. Webster’s Glengracie Miss Mercury.

2. Hill’s Skircoat Sicilienne Of Tahgmor. This 4 year old, mature bitch has a pleasing head of excellent length and proportions with a dark, almond eye and neat ears set well. She is low to the ground with excellent width and depth, good spring of rib and short coupled. Presented more full in coat and gait was not as free as the class winner on the day.
