Hound Club Of East Anglia

Hound Association of East Anglia 2019

I would like to that the committee for inviting to such a wonderful show. Such an inviting show with a lovely atmosphere, and plenty for the exhibitors to get involved in. A huge thank you to the exhibitors for their entries, and for being so sporting too. A final thank you to my efficient stewards who kept us ticking along.

Ibizan Hounds

Post Graduate

1st - Hamilton & Rainsbury’s - Alanura Incognito Ipotane – A 2 year old dog of good size. Smart in outline. Good proportions throughout with a hard and close coat. Super head shape and ears just lacking a little strength, good pigmentation. Strong neck and level topline, which he held nicely on the move. Shoulders of good shape, and a well made chest. Good amount of distance above his elbow. Moderate rear angulation contributing well to his typical movement, once he settled.

Open

1st & BOB - Hamilton & Rainsbury’s - Kalo Skilo's Rose De Immortal Juno With Harrisclub – A predominantly white bitch, with a pleasant overall shape. Well-muscled and boned throughout. A correct, finely shaped head and expressive eye. Good shoulder set, and correctly shaped ribbed and of good length and tuck. Level topline and good fall away from pins, with a nicely set tail. Strong and moderate rear angulation. Typical movement, of a good stride covering the ground well.

Strong neck and nicely laid shoulder. Ribs of good length and depth. Strong loin. Nice topline flow to a well made rear of strength, good feet too. Moved around the ring with ease and drove well.

Post Graduate

1st & BOS - Holder & Howe’s - Sade Araya Mascotts – BOS – A pleasant, typey bitch of good size, with a quite striking, dark brindle coat. Still quite young upon inspection, but in proportion overall. Head of good size and strong jaw, good eye. Well made throughout. Deep ribbing and of good length. Good rear angulation. Pleasant in profile covering the ground well.

Open

1st & BOB - Webb’s - Goldswift Mission Possible For Inkleyboys – Lighter brindle dog of good stature, in proportion and balanced. Good substance throughout. I enjoyed his type. Good head of length and strong jaw, and well placed ears. Strong, well arched neck, leading to well laid shoulder and deep chest. Ribs well shaped and sufficient tuck up. Pleasant topline and nicely arched loin leading to a strong, well made rear, with a good bend of stifle. Good feet. Moved well in profile, covering the ground with ease and good width.

Masculine head with a dark eye and good ears. Good neck length, well made chest of depth and length. Good rear angulation, with low set hocks. Eager to move, but once settled moved well.
