Thank you to the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at this show. Tuesday is not the best day for anyone to attend a show, but one so far away from most I do appreciate the exhibitors who took time out to enter and show their dogs under me. My observations are quite positive, most dogs were sturdy, of an excellent type and correct balance and sound. There were a few with narrow jaws and this needs to be watched carefully. The wind did decide to whip up a bit and this put off some youngsters particularly in the early bitch classes. Thank you to my stewards who kept the ring running smoothly.

Minor Puppy Dog 1 (0a)

1st Thornton’s Norboo Dare to Rebel – 6-month-old G & W of a nice type with correct balance. Masculine head broad and round. Sturdy with good rib cage and well ribbed back and good depth to chest. Angulations good fore and aft. Good tail set and carriage. Moves well in profile but moves a little close behind. Front action needs to settle.

Puppy Dog 4 (1a)

1st Brown’s Rossvale Eclipse of The Sun. 11-month-old Solid Gold dog (black mask) with a wonderful masculine head, broad and round with a wonderful soft expression. Broad jaw, round eye. Lovely type, sturdy and well balanced in outline, good angles front and rear. Good ribcage and well ribbed back. Good topline, tail set and carriage. Move soundly in all aspects and awarded him BPD and BP. One to watch for the future

2nd Prestidge’s Tameron Mr. Ralph Lauren at Portiakiss. 11-month-old dog with a masculine head, broad and round with a lovely eye and of a good type. Balanced in outline with excellent ribcage, well ribbed back. Good topline, tail set and carriage. Angles good front and rear. Strong rear action would prefer a little more extension in front action. Another promising youngster for the future.

3rd Wilbourne’s Stardante Han Sum Model with Simbalove

Junior Dog 3 (1a)

1st Scott’s Honeyshuchun The Star Lord. Just over 12 months, gold and white dog. Masculine headed dog of good type. Head broad and round and good width to underjaw. I would like a little more tilt to underjaw. Correct balance with good ribcage well ribbed back and good depth of chest. Good topline with good tail set and carriage. Angulations good and moved well behind showing full pad and sound in front. Well presented.

2nd Smith’s Dylan Blekitny Kanion (Imp Pol) 14-month old Black and white dog. Superbly presented with good head broad and round with a nice dark eye. Good width to underjaw but would like more tilt to underjaw. Excellent ribcage well ribbed back. Would like more angulation in front. Good topline, tail set and carriage. Moved soundly. A little high in leg and not quite the desired balance.

Yearling Dog 1 (0a)

1st Iley’s Rossvale Dress for Success. 18th month-old- dog of a nice type. Masculine headed dog, head broad and round with lovely dark eyes. Great width to lower jaw. Correct balance, Ex fore chest and well angulated in front and behind. Good ribcage with good topline and tail set. Moves soundly but would benefit at moving at a slightly faster pace.

Post Graduate Dog 3 (0a)

1st Carter & Leigh’s Gladmin Soweto Storm JW. B&W Masculine headed dog, head broad and round and great width to underjaw. Of correct balance, sturdy with good topline. Good angulation front and rear. Good ribcage well ribbed back. Firm topline with good tail set and carriage. Moved soundly in all aspects. Would benefit with a little more finish to be considered for top awards.

2nd Matthew’s Miracey Son of a Preacher Man for Matsha. Superbly presented, of good proportions. Head round with lovely dark eye with soft expression would just prefer slightly more masculinity. Good ribcage and well ribbed back, excellent topline with good tail set and carriage. Moved soundly.

3rd Lucas’s Gotama Tsin Fatinat Al Sjark At Jadetemple

Limit Dog 3 (0a)

1st Russell & Evan’s Ta Maria Black Edition at Matsuba (Fin Imp). 2-year-old B&W male with masculine head. Wonderful type. Head broad and round with lovely dark eye. Of a Sturdy constitution with the correct balance with excellent ribcage well ribbed back with broad chest of good depth and well let down. Good angulations front and rear with firm topline. Excellent tail set would prefer a slightly higher tail carriage. Moved soundly in all aspects with good reach in front action and drive behind showing full pad. Superbly presented. His type, balance, sturdiness and movement scored and delighted to award him the CC.

2nd Iley’s Yung-lo’s Who Needs A Dress (Imp) Another wonderful type and a dog of correct balance and sturdy. Lovely head with soft expression with great width to underjaw. Ribcage good, well ribbed back. Good topline with excellent tail set and carriage. Angulations good front and rear and moved soundly but would benefit at being moved with a shade more pace. Awarded the Res CC on his type and balance.

3rd Thornton’s Santosh Dark Spice for Norboo.

Open Dog 5 (0a)

1st Hitt’s Miracey Zero Hour. Superbly present masculine headed dog with broad round head, dark eye, with great width to underjaw. Good type, sturdy with an excellent ribcage and well ribbed back with good depth and width to chest, well let down. Good topline and excellent tail set and carriage. Angulations good front and rear and moved soundly in all aspects. Strongly considered for top awards but not quite the balance I was looking for.

2nd Barron’s Battery Included at Maitreya. Masculine headed dog with broad round head and great width to underjaw, nice eye. Nice type, sturdy, with good width and depth to chest. Excellent ribcage and well ribbed back. Firm topline and excellent tail set and carriage. Angulations good, front and rear, moved soundly. Preferred the front of 1.

3rd Jones’s Carlita Reason to Dream JW.

Special Beginners Dog 3 (0a)

1st Prestige’s Tameron Mr Ralph Lauren at Portiakiss - Best Special Beginners and I believe was placed 3rd in the Special Beginners group later on in the day.

2nd Wilbournes’ Stardante Han Sum Model with Simbalove. Sturdy dog with good round head and nice eye. Good topline with tail set and carriage. Would like more lay of shoulder. Moved well, well presented and handled.

3rd Lucas’s Gotama Tsin Fatinat Al Sjark At Jadetemple.

Special Beginners Bitch 3 (0a)

1st Zimmek’s Rossvale Secret Affair Is Yunqishing JW. Feminine headed bitch of a lovely type. Good round head, good width to underjaw with lovely eye. Sturdy with a good ribcage, well ribbed back. Good tail set and carriage. Angulations good and moved steadily and soundly. Well presented and handled.

2nd Galliford’s Sassyshi Brimful of Asha. Feminine bitch with lovely eye and good width to underjaw. Good forechest and angulations good. Good topline, tail set and carriage. I would prefer a shade more length in body to give a more balanced in outline. Well presented and handled.

3rd Jones’s Carlita Dedicate to Believe.

Minor Puppy Bitch 1 (0a)

1st Jones’s Carlita Promise to Love. 6-month-old puppy of a very nice type and balance. Good round head with nice dark eye. Sturdy with good width and depth to chest and well let down. Excellent front, great shoulder and upper arm. Good topline and good ribcage. Moved soundly but a little unhappy on the move with the blustery conditions and resulting atmosphere. Very promising prospect.

Puppy Bitch 5 (1a)

1st Gregory’s Marpalyn Phab Gold. Lovely feminine headed bitch of a nice type with lovely dark eye. Correct balance and sturdy well laid shoulder and good angulations behind. Good ribcage and well ribbed back. Good depth and width to chest. Good topline and tail set and carriage in lovely coat. Moved soundly in all aspects. BPB.

2nd Healey’s Isishouse Miss Moneypenny at Chellanda. Another nice type, well balanced, sturdy with good broad head and dark eye. Good depth and width to chest with good angulations front and rear. Good topline and ribcage, well ribbed back. Good tail set and carriage. Moved soundly. Little between these two girls, just preferred the expression of 1.

3rd Herring’s Matsonic Surprise Guest at Quingshui.

Junior Bitch 7 (1a)

1st Quick’s Minfaa Jitterbug Stroll. Well presented bitch, with good broad head, nice dark eye. Sturdy and well made with excellent forechest, good width and depth to chest and well let down. Good ribcage, well ribbed back with good tail set and carriage. Angulations good front and rear. Moved soundly in all aspects. Not quite the balance/size I was looking for but a lot of qualities to appreciate in this girl and one to watch.

2nd Herring’s Quingshui Aurora Rising. Bitch with good broad head and round with dark eye. Sturdy with good ribcage, well ribbed back with good tail set and carriage. Good depth and width of chest. Moved soundly. Preferred the expression of 1.

3rd Bradshaw & Symonds’s Cremefern Dancin In The Dark.

Yearling Bitch 3 (1a)

1st MacDonald’s Centastage Just Imagine. 21-month-old bitch of a good size and lovely type. Broad head and round with good dark eye and good width to underjaw. Sturdy and well balanced in outline, great fore chest and good width and depth to chest, well let down. Good ribcage and well ribbed back. Angulations good fore and aft and moved soundly. Would benefit with a little less weight.

2nd Herring’s Quingshui Aurora Rising.

1st Iley’s Ta Maria Amethyst (Imp) 3-year-old feminine headed bitch of a wonderful type. Lovely head and expression. Well balanced and sturdy, excellent ribcage, well ribbed back. Good width and depth to chest. Angulations excellent and moved soundly in all aspects. Good tail set would prefer a slightly higher tail carriage. Just needs a little more finish and then should be strongly considered for top awards.

2nd Healey’s Isishouse Queen Meritaten for Chellanda. Almost 3 years old feminine headed bitch with lovely head and expression. Sturdy with good forechest and ribcage, well ribbed back. Good topline, tail set and carriage. Angulations good, not quite the balance of 1. Well presented.

3rd Zimmek’s Rossvale Xclusive Model at Yunqishing

This was a lovely class of quality bitches and I was splitting hairs when making my final decision.

1st Brown’s Rossvale Only in Dreams. 2 plus year old feminine bitch. Wonderful head and expression, lovely dark eye. Good ribcage and well ribbed back. Well balanced and sturdy and a lovely size. Excellent topline, tail set and carriage. Excellent angulations and soundly in all aspects. Her arrogant attitude both on the move and standing all were elements that earned her the BCC and BOB. I believe this CC was her crowning one. Well presented and handled.

2nd Gilkes’s Zeeva Reflections JW 22-month-old female, feminine head and expression with good width to underjaw. Nice type with good depth and width to chest well let down. Good ribcage and well ribbed back with good topline, tail set and tail carriage. Angulations good front and rear and moved soundly. Well-presented and handled. Pushed 1 hard.

3rd Farnworth’s Tsantha Adornment.

Another lovely class of very sound bitches with qualities to admire.

1st Hitt’s Santosha Cherry Brandy at Miracey. Very close to three years of age of an excellent type and balance. A feminine head, broad, round with good underjaw. Lovely size, sturdy with excellent forechest. Good angulations front and rear. Good ribcage and well ribbed back, good topline, ex tailset and carriage. Move very soundly in all aspects. Res CC.

2nd Shaw’s Ch Shorestar Hocus Pocus JW. Solid black Another lovely type with a good head, broad and round. Broad underjaw. Lovely size and type, with excellent front, good ribcage, well ribbed back. Excellent tail set and carriage. Well balanced in outline. Angulations good front and rear and moved soundly.
