1st: BRIDGE Miss M J Radiva Baby Ocean (Imp) Deu

Smart young dog, 14 months and not long out of puppy. Stood alone and was clearly enjoying his day out with much enthusiasm, but when he settled, he moved true, free and with purpose showing good tail carriage. Great muscle tone and oozed sturdiness. Pleasing head at this age and will likely go on the develop further. Good eye colour in harmony with coat. Presented a balanced picture throughout.

1st: MCALLISTER Ms P Mizani Diorbe Of Slovakia Sh.CM

Fell in love with this young man as he entered the ring and at just two years old, he certainly filled my eye. Not over done in any way, his moderately broad head displayed required head length to height ratio and was complimented by his strong muzzle and large nose. With good eye colour/expression it was lovely to see his attentiveness to handler. Correct body proportions and leg length, he presented a square outline and was in super coat and condition. His powerful upper thigh and good bend of stifle enabled plenty of drive as he moved smoothly around the ring. He held his topline and with a tail set on continuation of his correctly sloping croup he was certainly able to carry and use his tail well, completing a delightful picture. Very pleasing to go over. Best Dog and Best of Breed.

2nd:TOLLERFIELD Mr K J & Mrs S C Gaesten Top Tinker

Another smart young male of similar age to 1 with pleasing head and expression. Good body proportions and sound on the move. Not quite the hind angulation and presence as 1, but he moved steadily and covered the ground well.

Class 199 LD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: GRANTHAM Mr A J Mizani Dorocco Raffaele

Quality dog of good proportions. Nice masculine head with dark eyes and well-set ears. Strong muzzle, large nose giving the desired expression. Has a short muscular neck into well placed shoulders. Well-developed chest down to close fitting elbows, this coupled with correct rear angulation enabled him to move true from all angles.

2nd: MORT Mrs L Radiva Baby Oh Cherrie (Imp)

Both young bitches of approx 14 months so not long out of puppy. For me, in the end my decision was based on movement and coat. Both youngsters had feminine heads with required measure of balance. Fairly large dark eyes of correct shape giving a lovely attentive expression on both. Both had good bone and an impressive body outline when standing. However, I found the exhibit awarded first to have the best movement between them today, she moved true and with more purpose than 2 around the ring. She was in correct woolly coat and had the required thick ring-shaped curls over her body. The exhibit awarded second did not have the necessary texture or curl to her coat, perhaps a little over prepared and on the day, and she was not moving at her best.

Class 204 PGB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: GRANTHAM Mr A J Mizani Diora Rose

Smart young lady of just 21 months, shown in good coat and condition. Feminine head of correct proportions. She was very squarely built and presented a super balanced outline both standing and on the move. A very true and steady mover who looked like she had the stamina to go on all day.

2nd: COLLIS Mr D R & Mrs L C Iteru Riccia Piattone.

She took a while to settle in the ring and seemed to be giving her handler a hard time but nevertheless she was a sound exhibit, pleasing head and expression with good eye colour. Muscular shoulders and a well-developed chest with a good body overall.

3rd: DEBLASI Miss R L Mianatra Definitely Daisy

Class 206 OB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: STEPHENSON Mrs A Emmroche Borghesa At Timtaurn

Such a quality bitch, oozing femininity from every ring-shaped curl! So well balanced and pleasing in all of her parts, especially her delightful head and expression. She certainly belies all of her 7 ½ years and has a strong compact body and correct proportions length to height and front/rear angulations. Her well defined stifles enabled stylish movement throughout. She presented a most pleasing picture both standing and on the move. Best Bitch and Best Veteran

2nd: DEBLASI Miss R L Mianatra Bound To Be Blossom

Mature quality bitch of 6 ½ years with so much to like about her from the tip of her large nose to the end of her correctly set well carried tail. In good goat and condition, she is a free mover who covered the ground well. On the move she has a super outline and carries her topline well. Reserve Best Bitch

Class 207 VD/B (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: LIGHTFOOT Mr D H Gaester Just Jago at Joydon

Super quality dog in excellent coat and has clearly defined ring-shaped curls on his smart jacket. He has great muscle tone throughout and showed off his deep chest, straight muscular back, and topline slightly falling as required as he moved freely around the ring – liked his overall balance and impressive outline. Reserve Best Dog

2nd: COLLIS Mr D R & Mrs L C Ir Ch Iteru Riccio Vespolina

Pretty headed bitch of 7 ½ years. One who I would have preferred a little more substance throughout – would have liked more of the ‘sturdy and robust’ elements. She certainly moved round the ring with much enthusiasm and covered the ground well. Not in her best jacket today.
