Bournemouth Championship Show 10/08/2019

I would like to thank the committee of the Bournemouth Championship Show for the invitation to judge, Also for going ahead with the show under the most extreme conditions. The committee and helpers were ever diligent along with the gentlemen in their yellow jacket with the big hammers making sure we were all safe.

Many thanks to my lovely steward Aithea Richardson who worked tirelessly all day in not the best of conditions. Congratulations to all the exhibitors for showing as someone said in hard core conditions.

All dogs were well presented; I just did not have enough prize cards in some classes.

My thoughts on the breed as a whole the breed is in safe hands some dogs had long loins, remember the length of back comes from the ribs, not the loin.

As usual the owners like their dogs took the gale force winds in their stride only one class limit bitch got wet. I thank you all for your entries it was an enjoyable day if a tad windy.

2nd: 551 FEAR Mrs M & Mr M Ceilmear Harris Tweed Thought these were litter mates but told same dam what a stamp. Another lovely coat colour all that I have written about 1st applies to this young lad there was just a little less of him and he was defiantly in his underwear today.

3rd: 549 DAVIES, Mrs C A & FEAR Mrs M J Ceilmear's Royal Marine Liked this lad tail never stopped lovely dark colour with eyes and pigment to match well laid shoulders deep chest and long rib cage short loin strong rear had good reach and drive needs a tad more coat but what he had was quality.
