1st: Dowsett & Jackson’s Avantgarde Italy Secret with Tteswood

11 months old, well shaped head with that typical monkey expression, open nostrils. Round dark expressive eyes. Ears are small & well set. Short in body & well angulated throughout. Compact feet. Tail set high. Moved out well. Super showman. Considered for the RCC. BPIB

2nd: Gruninger & Harrison’s Ribbleriver Lost In Time. 10 months old. It is all there in respect of body, shape and size. Loved the expression. Fabulous forehand movement. Needs more confidence and when this happens, he will trouble the best.

3rd: Hayes’s Attila Blue Moon

1st: Boulcott & Stewart’s Darkle Persius at Ingerdorm. This masculine upstanding boy has a beautiful headpiece. Excellent mouth and finish. Coat of correct texture and in typical style. Has straight sturdy front legs, strong pasterns, ideal length of neck and correct topline. Impressive rear angulations produced most impressive movement both coming and going. A true showman and he looked stunning in the Group ring. CC & BOB (Group shortlist).

2nd: Mcevoy & Pirrie’s Tamarin Tucson (Imp). Ideal size. Good for expression especially those sparking eyes. Correct bite and finish. Super textured coat. Squarely built, level topline, high set tail. Lovely strutting action but not quite as secure as 1 out and back.

1st: Gruninger’s Darkle Valiantbe. This 14 month old youngster is well balanced throughout, has substantial bone without coarseness. Super expression. Sturdy topline, tail well set. Just a tad wide coming back to me today but nevertheless, a really nice prospect.

1st: Wiggins’s Scapafield Schwarz Odyssey

Well built and masculine, but he is not overdone in anyway. Produces a square outline. Correct head, short neck; well sprung ribs. Elbows close in. Correct skull, muzzle and dark eyes. On the move he was a shade wide in front which might be attributed to being a touch on the portly side.

2nd: Gruninger’s Clipperreach Rogue Prince. Well shaped head but without furnishings around muzzle which detracted somewhat. Excellent dentition. Well set ears and neck powerful and short. Strong propulsion from excellent hindquarters. Correct coat.

3rd: Mcevoy & Pirrie’s Faehat Mwnci Du

1st: Gruninger’s Darkle Herewood The Wake. Ticks so many boxes in respect to breed type. Well shaped head, super finish with lovely dark expressive eyes. Impressive for shape, body and coat. Secure level backline and tailset. Moved OK but felt he could have given more, especially in the challenge. RCC

2nd: Owen & Ossowski’s Ch Darkle Hawker Harrier. Impressive to handle, although I would prefer a touch more substance. Comes together well on the move, particularly in profile. Correct shape and super texture to coat.

3rd: Clark’s Affentude Forever Young

1st: Cary’s No Strings Attached At Cary Cares

Head has the desired expression, super eyes and nose placement. Open nostrils, good dentition and chin. Defined stop. Well set ears. Clean front, small tight feet, short back. Tail well set. She has an attractive profile and sound movement. At 17 months is one to watch.

2nd: Gruninger’s Darkle Undaunted. Balanced head and dark well shaped eyes. Very nice to examine although she is a touch too heavy at present. Lovely disposition. Moved with style.

3rd: Scott’s Some Like It Hot At Hamlock

1st: Pirrie & Mcevoy’s Priscila Queen Of The Desert. This 15 month old is such fun!!! Super head with that real monkey like expression. Broad brow, dark expressive eyes, small neat ears and a prominent chin. Her outline is square with just a slight tuck up. Scores in rib and body. Fabulous in profile. Great mover. Delighted to award her CC (her first).

2nd: Teasdale’s Tonsarne Lady Mawkin. Expressive head with nicely domed top skull, small neat ears, round dark eyes and finish of muzzle. Produces a square outline. Secure top line, short neck, well carried tail and slight tuck up. Harsh coat. Sadly, she was most unhappy throughout the whole class which was a pity.

1st: Wiggins’s Scapafield Schwarz Olena Just as it is! Nothing exaggerated. Good for head with typical expression. Good ear placement, appealing dark eyes, wide open nostrils and a good mouth, teeth and prominent chin. Correct coat and furnishings to boot. Sound mover but I felt could have given more. RCC

2nd: Shepherd’s Ch Black Bess V Tani Kazari For Avantgarde I could look into those gorgeous eyes all day. Balanced head with correct finish, enough neck. Precise coming towards but unsettled going away. Impressive outline on the move. Worthy Champion.
