1st: Welbourn’s Sunn De Lion Kaifing At Zumarnik NAF (Imp). What a start to the day! This 10 month old youngster presents a stunning profile. Beautifully balanced head, gorgeous round eyes giving such an endearing expression. Fabulous pigmentation. Super neck and lay of shoulder. Straight front legs and tight neat round feet. Enough body for age. Spirit level topline. Well arched high set tail. Correct coat of optimum texture. Moved with such style giving a clear concise message that this American invader has flown ‘across the pond’ to make his mark. At his first UK show he certainly delivered it! Without hesitation CC & BOB, BPIB and delighted that in the ‘big ring’ he attained PG2 only to stand behind the CKCS, which was, ultimately, the BPIS winner.

2nd: Yorath’s Alverez Love Me Do. Really liked the expression of this promising puppy. Not as mature as 1. Excellent dentition. Dark pigment and lovely eyes. Body to develop. Secure level backline, well held tail. At 10 months still a little unsure of himself but maturity will be kind to him.

1st: White’s Alverez Cut To The Chase At Sosueme. Another 10 month old. Excellent pigmentation. Balanced head. Tidy front and balanced angulations. Topline to settle. He was disconcerted on the move but from glimpses exposed he demonstrated that nothing was untoward.

1st: Tebbenham-Small’s Sarasuma Eternity Star For Genmerian. Balanced head, well set ears. Good for eye shape if a touch lighter than ideal. OK for neck. Secure topline. Coat a touch woolly in texture. Excellent ribs and chest. Correct tail set. Really smart mover.

1st: Jackson & Egan’s Ch Benatone Gino D'acampo. A mature glamorous dog with the best of heads and expression predominantly given from those fabulous eyes. Super textured coat presented in exemplary fashion and despite that this is so abundant it now trails the ground it did not appear to impede movement. Super topline and high set tail well featured and arched over back. OK front. Excellent rear angulations. At all times he moved with a sense of purpose and is clearly a very worthy champion but due to impact the sensational puppy class winner made, today he had to settle for the RCC.

2nd: Cayton & Welbourn’s Zumarnik Blurred Lines. Another lovely dog of champion quality. Totally sound an honest. Excellent textured coat. Super for size and overall balance, great body, neck and topline. Straight front legs, correct shoulder placement and sturdy hindquarters. Moved precisely and with style.

3rd: McMorrow & Martin’s Ray Wonder Of Love

1st: Hick’s Peladon Aurora. Third in Junior Bitch. Ok expression. Good for pigmentation. Ok for dentition. Well balanced body, well angulated hindquarters. At 10 months front movement should settle, strong rear drive.

1st: Welbourn’s Zumarnik Miss America. In addition to her most gorgeous expression aided by fantastic eyes and pigmentation, this 13 month old bitch is so beautifully constructed. Despite being a complete handful she just captures attention. Moved with style and determination but clearly on her own terms. A really smart young lady. CC her second and am I surprised?

2nd: Bagguley’s Kenaiteen Love Affair.

3rd: Hicks’s Peladon Aurora

1st: Welbourn’s Zumarnik Cheerleader. Litter sister to the winner of JB and this was pretty evident from the beginning of this class! The same comments apply. Alike her sibling she is beautifully constructed throughout with the same temperament and style. Perhaps not the pigmentation or quite the reach of neck but nevertheless one which, I am sure, will press hard for future honours.

2nd: Bagguley’s Kenaiteen Love Affair

3rd: Hick’s Peladon Aurora

1st: McMorrow & Martin’s Ir Ch Mademoiselle Coco Forussi. Small, smart and a very pretty with the most beautifully textured coat which felt cold to the touch and slid through the fingers. Oval dark expressive eyes, excellent pigmentation, well placed nose. Ideal for neck and shoulders. Level back, well set tail. She is a very proud and elegant mover. Whilst very different in type to the CC winner her many breed attributes earnt her a very well deserved RCC amongst a quality bitch entry.

2nd: Urquart’s Blackpark Double Diamond

3rd: White’s Sosueme Celtic Charm
