1st: Cook’s Star du Neufmoulin for Montelle TAF. Already at 7 months, his head is full of quality. Excellent mouth and finish. Produces a most impressive profile. Good for bone. Beautifully textured coat. Lovely temperament. This puppy is clearly promising and when he collected himself his movement was so impressive. A great future lies before him, I am sure.RBD & BPIB

1st: Bamsey’s Holbam Celtic Wizzard JW. Another right out of the top drawer. Perhaps currently in that awkward stage between youth and adulthood. Lovely balanced head; punishing jaw all adding to a fabulous expression. Sturdy legs, well padded feet. Well fitting harsh red coat. Great tail set and carriage. It’s just a matter of time before this lovely young dog attains his title.

1st: Simons’s Saredon Red Berry. This 2 ½ old was presented in a fit and healthy condition, although would have preferred a slightly finer/racier bone structure. Excellent coat, masculine, balanced head featuring dark eyes. I thought today that his ears could have been a touch neater. Fabulous mover

Class OD (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: Rundle’s & Williams Ch Sidewater Sea. Fury. Nice honest type and has certain style. Impressive head and eye giving the desired expression. There is enough of him but all in proportion. Coat being harsh, wiry and crisp where appropriate. Straight front legs, correct lay of shoulder and secure backline. Totally sound and honest as the day is long on the move. BD

2nd: Averis & Barker’s Turith Adonis TAF. A quality young dog, having a long lean head, well placed ears. OK for expression, fair reach of neck. Deep chest of correct width, strong loins. Strong muscular hindquarters of good bone and compact strong feet. Correct harsh coat which was well presented. Moved freely.

1st: Bamsey’s Carliams Witching Hour. Enchanting puppy. She hated the ‘clattering drain covers’ which unnerved her somewhat. Notwithstanding this, she is a lovely size and shape. Gorgeous feminine head of correct dimensions and finish. Super body for age and a lengthy, clean neck. One for tomorrow.

Class JB (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: Ruffles & Williamson’s Holbam Celtic Erin. At 15 months, she is maturing nicely and gave a steady performance on the move. Super temperament. Well angulated front assembly with good front extension. Strong clean neck, firm loins and strong rear angulations. Accurate mover. RBB

2nd: Oliver Kerrykeel Aobheann. This 12 month old is good for make and shape, correct length of head with fabulous expressive eyes. Already well bodied. Strong hindquarters aided easy movement. Should do well.

Class LB (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: Bannister’s Holbam Celtic Nuala. Attractive head and eyes, flat skull. Ears a touch untidy today. Good neck above correct lay of shoulders. Clean, neat front and sturdy top line. Well ribbed, strongly made hindquarters, great coat. Moved true, covering the ground with ease.

2nd: Ruffles’s Holbam Celtic Whisper At Ruffmar JW Sh.Cm. Another quality bitch I first met several years ago, but now perhaps carrying a tad too much weight. Supports a correctly proportioned head, expressive dark eyes, well placed ears, good dentition. Fair length to neck into well placed shoulders, well ribbed. Topline a touch soft today. Sturdy rear angulations. Moved well.

Class OB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Atkin’s Holbam Celtic Summer Sh.CM ShCEx. Upstanding bitch of lovely quality. Has that racey outline and coat of excellent colour and texture. Clean front with superb legs, correct feet and carriage. Hindquarters possessing powerful thighs, well let down sturdy hocks, strong neat feet. Undoubtedly, one of the best movers today. I thought her performance was first rate. Delighted to award her BB & BOB and further pleased to witness her attain the Terrier Group shortlist.

Class GCB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
