Day 1: Gundog, Hound and Terrier

1:  SH CH/DEUTSCHER CH (VDH) KIMMAX KURIOUS GEORGE BS '17 BS '18 Breed: German Wirehaired Pointer (MR P F & MRS M MCCULLOUGH).  An athletic, powerful, masculine dog who really does give the impression of being able to do a day’s work.  Good head, with well set eyes and a kind expression.  Very pleasing forehand with deep chest, strong, straight legs and well padded feet.  Moved well with some drive and a good length of stride.  Harsh double coat.

2:  PHLYNNIES PRINCE OF THIEVES JW Breed: Pointer (MISS M SAUNDERS).  A striking handsome dog, shapely and pleasing for balance, type and size.  Grand head and expression, clean neck and shoulders, short coupled with a strong loin and good spring of rib.  Used his tail on the move where he displayed a smooth easy action with some drive from the rear.

3:  NEVEDITH ZUFOR ZAYNI JW SHCM Breed: Whippet (MRS A M & MR L SAMPSON)

KC Good Citizen Stakes - Dog or Bitch

Day 2: Working, Pastoral, Utility and Toy

1:  CH WALDERSHELF CAUSING KAOS SHCM Breed: Bernese Mountain Dog (MR C, MR J M, MRS D & MISS D L HUGHES).  Apparently last time I judged him it was a very hot day and he didn’t perform too well.  I told his handler that I’d love to see him again when it was cooler and today he was on top form.  Strong, masculine and very well made with a grand head, excellent neck and shoulders and good breadth and depth of chest.  Well ribbed with good breadth over the quarters.  Moved out very well with some reach and drive.  A lovely character.

2:  MILESEND SWEET WHISPERS AT ELJETIA Breed: Shetland Sheepdog (MRS J PARKES).  Very classy and with a lovely head and sweet expression.  Well balanced with good body and rib, slight slope to croup and good length of tail.  Moved with a light effortless action.  Excellent coat and shows to good advantage.

3:  ARAKI TURN BACK TIME AT PARKMIST SHCM Breed: Tibetan Terrier (MRS T J SHORT)
