Good skull and dark, expressive eye. Cobby in outline with good breadth of chest and decent depth of brisket. Quite true on the move and his very positive front action just gave him the edge today. 2nd: SCHOJAN ALEKSEI WITH RADASH (MRS R ARCHER). Most appealing head with a keen, sharp expression. Good breadth of chest, firm topline and nicely rounded rump. Very good hind action and pleased in profile. Open - Dog Entries: 6 Absentees: 1 1st: AM CH WHISPERING PINES COVERT OP (J & M PLOURDE & O'BRIEN). A shapely, very typical docked dog who really filled my eye. Good skull, keen sharp foxy expression and excellent carriage and deportment. Good breadth and depth of chest with a short back and strong loins. Lovely rounded rump. His footfall is absolutely correct and he was shown in immaculate coat and condition. Best Dog and BOB. 2nd: CH/IR CH CHADBOWER NEVAN HENKI MIT CLYNALWIN, JW, BEL/IR JCH, CJW'18, (MRS C WILSON). Reserve best Dog. Gave the winner a very good run for the top spot and I wrote in my notes that he was clearly CC quality. Excellent head properties, fairly short strong neck and shapely body. He too moves well and with some determination. I was privileged to have two lovely dogs entered. 3rd: SCHOJAN ALEKSANDR OF LAKSHMI (MRS C RILEY) Open - Bitch Entries: 5 Absentees: 1 1st: ROSHAANA JOCASTA (MRS C & MR J REID). Best Bitch. The oldest here by quite a margin but I admired her cobby outline, lighter well rounded quarters and her good coat with mane, frill and cullottes. Moved well with a brisk, positive action. 2nd: STONEYBURN ARBEIA (MRS J & MISS K REED). Reseerve Best Bitch. She too is very pleasing to handle and was shown in good coat. Quite typical in all respects, maybe a fraction longer in loin than the winner. Presents a nice outline and impresses on the move with her easy positive action. 3rd: ENCHANTED PRINCESS BIJOU AT SCHOJAN (MR A & MRS J HOLLAND) Judge: Tom Mather
