Puppy - Dog Entries: 1 Absentees: 0 1st MAMORU TOO HOT TO HANDLE (MR R & MRS M, WEAFER). A handsome, well grown youngster, good ear set, nicely shaped eye, crested neck. Good body for age. Good tail set. Very typical side action with some power evident. Just a shade loose still both coming and going. Shown in good coat and condition. Junior - Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 1 1st CASAKURA JOSEPH PARKER WITH ROMINJAY (MRS C SIMPSON). Masculine with a well proportioned, typical head and good ear set. Decent depth of chest, firm topline and good tailset and carriage. Could be a little heavier in bone and stronger in pastern. Excellent double coat and shows to good advantage. Post Graduate - Dog Entries: 1 Absentees: 0 1st REDWITCH POLE POSITION AT KRISSIENITE (MISS C GARRETT). Very pleasing head and expression with fairly small, well placed eyes, well placed “hooded” ears and strong neck. Decent forehand with good bone, legs and tight, well knuckled feet. Good rib and body with adequate depth of brisket and well set tail. Very good profile action but a little untidy coming back to me. Limit - Dog Entries: 1 Absentees: 0 1st REDWITCH IN THE FAST LANE (MRS J & MRS A KILLILEA & CLURE). Handsome and presents a most attractive picture in outline as he is well balanced. Grand head, ample bone and very good legs and feet. Deep, broad chest, strong rib and slight tuck-up. Carries himself well on the move and his profile action was impressive. Open - Dog Entries: 7 Absentees: 3 1st AM CH STECALS REMEMBER MY NAME (MS C, F, MRS R & MR V BEVIS, CORR & VENEZIA). I judged him as a Minor Puppy and thought he was special then and I’m delighted to see, that despite his youth he has fulfilled that early promise. Small dark eye, good skull and excellent ear set. Great forehand with some forechest, excellent bone and really good feet that are tight and well-knuckled and this gave him the advantage. Shown in good body with firm muscle tone and his powerful easy gait and good showmanship should always guarantee him a second look. CC & BOB. 2nd IR CH MELODOR ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE IR JUN CH, CJW17,CW17 (MRS C MCLEAN). Res. CC. Another I have judged as a youngster and admired greatly. Slightly different in type but very correct. Masculine with a grand head, excvellent ear carriage and fairly short, strong crested neck. Good depth of brisket, moderate tuck-up and strong loin. Moved soundly and with some power. I later learned that he has a two CCs and a number of reserve CCs and I added to his tally today. Good luck to his sporting owner for the magical third! 3rd FR CH MEIHO'S BULLET PROOF AT SNOWBEACH (MR I & MRS C BANKS) Special Beginners - Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 0 1st CASAKURA JOSEPH PARKER WITH ROMINJAY (MRS C SIMPSON) 2nd NEVER BACK DOWN CENTURION GLADIATOR (MISS CURRIE). Good skull; dark small keen eye and well set ears. Decent forehand with some forechest and good bone. High set, well carried tail. Good profile action but just a shade loose in front coming back to me. Puppy - Bitch Entries: 2 Absentees: 0 1st KRISBISS AKITAS VISION DREAM (MRS C MCLEAN). Best Puppy. A real baby but she is a classy youngster with a most typical head and expression, strong neck with slightly “hooded”, fairly small ears gave her an advantage and added to her good profile. Some forechest, strong bone and good rib with strong loin for one so young. Good tailset and carriage. Moved out well with an easy, true action. 2nd CALL ME CRAZY CENTURION GLADIATOR (MISS CURRIE). Another good moving youngster with a lovely temperament. Good head and pleasing, keen expression. Well bodied with a good double coat and excellent topline and tailset. Moved well keeping a good outline at all times. Junior – Bitch A good class with lots of quality right down the line. Entries: 7 Absentees: 0 1st WHITEWREATH FROM THE ASHES (C D IASON). A particularly good moving bitch who really was handled to very best advantage by a young lady. Lovely outline and well balanced with a good topline and taislet. Pleasing feminine yet powerful head with good eyes. Very godo forehand with ample bone and excellent feet. Shown in first class form. Should finish at the top with ordinary luck. 2nd VORMUND AMERICAN BEAUTY BY STECAL (MISS M S, MS F, MS C & MRS R DUNHILL-HALL, BEVIS & CORR). A smart, well-made bitch with a lovely head and imposing expression. Good forehand with decent bone. Good breadth and depth of chest. Firm topline and well carried tail. Impressed on the move. 3rd MELODOR I'M A SINGLE LADY (MRS C MCLEAN) Limit - Bitch Entries: 5 Absentees: 1 Sadly, the bitch I thought would be the winner didn’t settle on the move and had to pay the penalty. 1st CALICELESTI SWEET ANGEL AT CASAKURA (MRS C HUNTER). The best mover in this class and she showed and moved to good advantage. Pleasing head, good bone, would prefer a little more length of leg for ideal balance and feet could be tighter. Good breadth and depth of chest. High set, well carried tail. Good coat. 2nd LOUISTON HURRICANE ABBY (MRS A CRAWFORD). Strong powerful head, neat ears, well bodied and very typical balance. Excellent topline and tailset. Not quite the bone or movement of the winner. 3rd HACHIBI WILLING TO DREAM (MR S O & MRS D E RANN) Open - Bitch Entries: 7 Absentees: 1 1st CH HACHIBI LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU AT SHINZAM (MR P DAVIES). CC. Beautifully balanced and a very easy mover with a fluid, positive stride. I admired her head and expression with her good ear set and keen, fairly small eye. Well boned legs, tight compact feet. Good breadth and depth of chest, firm topline and good, high set tail. Moderately angulated and shown in good muscle tone and this gave her some power from the rear. In first class coat and condition. 2nd CH REDWITCH LET THE GAMES BEGIN (AI) (MRS J & MRS A KILLILEA & CLURE). Reserve CC. Lovely, feminine yet strong head with moderately short, crested neck and excellent ear set. Decent forehand with good bone and pleasing feet. Ribbed well back with strong loin and high set tail. She too is in very good muscle tone and condition and made the most of herself at all times. 3rd KARMA POLICE AKITA VILLA [ATC AV01233BLR] ( MR O KOVRIGIN) Veteran - Bitch Entries: 2 Absentees: 1 1st MINIOSO JUST ONE LOOK AT LOUISTON (MRS A CRAWFORD). A really good moving bitch whose looks belie her age. Moved well with a true free action and her hind movement was particularly impressive. Pleasing balance, well boned with good legs and feet. Good head with clear, dark eyes and a good mouth with strong teeth. Special Beginners - Bitch Entries: 1 Absentees: 0 1st TIKASA'S STORM SIREN FOR ROMINJAY (MRS C SIMPSON). Attractive, well-proportioned head, well set ears and fairly small, dark eye. Slightly rangy and maybe a tad more weight would benefit her. Excellent temperament and shown in good order.
