Thank you to the committee for inviting me to award my first set of CC’s at this show. Thanks also goes to all the exhibitors for your entry. I had some super classes where the decisions were very challenging and some quality exhibits went cardless. I was very pleased with all my placings and both of my line ups were of outstanding quality.

Super quality Bl/R 6 month male, dark eye lovely expression, super neck, parallel legs and tight feet, slightly sloping topline, correct rear angulation, steady mover, showed and handled well. I will watch his career with interest. 

2 Mr P Merrett, Xemuti Beamish Boy. 

Bl/R 7 month male, finer than 1, dark eye headplanes not quite there yet, super length of neck, parallel legs and tight feet, would prefer more front angulation, slightly sloping topline, longer in loin than 1, adequate rear angulation, steady mover well trained and handled.

1 Mrs J & Miss H Caffel & Kavanagh, Doberway Master Craftsman. 

Bl/R 11 month top quality male, super masculine head with darkest of eye, giving pleasing alert expression, crested neck into correct front angulation, well filled out forechest, parallel legs and tight feet. Firm slightly sloping topline, croup well filled, C shaped tail and correct rear angulation, balanced mover with drive and purpose, well handled and I was pleased to award him BPD and BPIB. 

2 Mr J & Mrs P Flower, Chopitea Columbus. 

Br/R 9 month male, different type to 1 taller and shorter in loin, good head, eye colour and expression, long neck leading to correct front angulation, tight feet, sloping topline, moved well once settled, well handled.

Junior Dog 6/2 

1 Mr K & Mrs J Hopkinson, Otago The One And Only JW. 

Bl/R 16 month super quality male, masculine head with correct planes and darkest of eye giving alert expression, arched neck leading to balanced front angulation and well filled out forechest. Parallel legs with round bone and tightest of feet, firm slightly sloping topline, croup well filled with C shaped tail and correctly angled rear, moved straight with drive and purpose and very well handled. Considered him for the RCC just needs a touch more maturity and his time will come. I will watch his career with interest. 

2 Mr L J & Miss A Richards & Evans, Supeta’s Thunderstruck. 

12 month Bl/R male of good quality, dark eye and level headplanes, crested neck in to super front well filled out with correct angulation. Tight feet, strong slightly sloping topline, well filled croup, correct rear angles and super mover giving a very balanced picture, well handled.

Stunning Bl/R male, powerful with ring presence, super masculine head with correct headplanes and plenty of underjaw, darkest of eye giving pleasing expression, convex neck leading to excellent front angulation and well developed forechest, legs parallel with round bone and tightest of feet, strong slightly sloping topline kept on the move, deep well sprung ribs, croup well filled, C shaped tail, well developed thighs, muscular and powerful with well bent stifle, moved with drive, purpose and attitude, a powerful male not to be ignored, well handled and I was delighted to award him the CC and BOS.

Another stunning Bl/R male, strong masculine head with level planes and good depth of muzzle, darkest of eye, powerful neck, well developed forechest with super angles, parallel legs with round bone and tight feet, strong firm topline, excellent spring of rib, well filled croup, excellent rear angles, muscular thighs, moved with drive and purpose, another powerful male that couldn’t be ignored ,very well handled and I was pleased to award him the RCC.

Gorgeous Br/R girl from the top drawer, super head, level planes and good eye colour giving very pleasing expression, arched neck, correct front angulation and well filled forechest, parallel legs with round bone and tight feet, sloping topline firm and kept on the move, good spring of rib, croup well filled, C shaped tail. Correct rear angulation and well developed hindquarters, super mover straight and true with drive and rotation, very well handled, I will watch her career with interest.

Super Bl/R bitch, feminine head with darkest of eye giving pleasing expression, good length of neck, correct front angulation well filled forechest, parallel legs round bone and tight feet, 

Slightly sloping topline, croup well filled out with C shaped tail, super rear in both angles and muscle, moved with drive and balance, very well handled.

Bl/R girl, feminine head and dark eye, arched neck, well filled forechest with good angles, tight feet, slightly sloping topline, well filled croup, well developed hindquarters, moved and shown well.

Bl/r feminine girl, correct headplanes and dark eye, parallel front legs, slightly sloping topline, well filled croup, well developed hindquarters with good angles, slightly unsettled at first but soon started showing to her best, lovely mover straight and true, very balanced, well handled.

Bl/R girl, gorgeous head, level planes dark eye giving  expression, super front angles and well filled out chest, parallel legs round bone tight feet, strong topline kept on the move, well filled croup, well developed hindquarters with correct angulation, moved with balance, very well handled.

I was pleased to award her the RCC. I will watch her career with interest as her time will come.

Stunning quality Bl/R bitch, gorgeous head feminine with correct planes, slight stop, tight lips, darkest of eye giving mischievous expression, super length of neck adding nobility, well developed forechest with correct angles, round bone tight feet, strong topline kept on the move, well developed hindquarters with correct angulation and very muscled, she presented a balanced picture from head to toe, absolutely stunning mover with drive determination balance and rotation, she could have kept going all day. I was delighted to award her the CC, BOB and to see her shortlisted in a top quality working group.

Another super quality Br/R girl, super feminine head level planes, good eye colour lovely expression, excellent length of neck, well developed forechest with correct angles, legs parallel with tight feet and round bone, firm slightly sloping topline kept on the move, well filled out croup, C shaped tail well developed hindquarters with correct angles and plenty of muscle tone, another absolutely stunning mover, balanced with drive, very well handled.
