BULLDOG - Three Counties Championship Dog Show 08/06/2019.

Firstly would like to thank Three counties committee for inviting me to judge at this years show.

Hospitality was 2nd to none and lunch was delicious.

I was delighted to accept this appointment and was hoping for a big entry (as it was on a Saturday) and get to judge my breed outside for the 1st time.

Sadly neither of those two things happened a busy weekend on the Bulldog club show circuit and 3 days of rain put pay to my hopes.

Only 10 dogs entered and 7 turned up on the day .

Non the less I had a good day and some good exhibits, Quality over Quantity .

JUNIOR DOG 5-2 abs

Very strong class with 3 dogs that could easily swap places on another day.

Had to split hairs to make a decision on this class.

1st Andlare scooter at Kikuchi.

Flashy Red and white of standard size. Good clean head with broad flat skull. Excellent neat thin rose ears that are perfectly placed. Well placed black nose with wide open nostrils. Good jaw with correct upsweep and fit. Excellent layback when viewed from side. This dog has a excellent neck with a nice arch. Lovely square front with just enough bone to forelegs leading to tight neat feet. Would like a little more rib. Overall this dog as excellent body shape with all the curves in all the right places especially over the loin. Moved well both coming and going. Moves away with roll and returns walking his width.

A dog with a bright future. BEST OF BREED.

2nd Saxons Bagibeli Ace of spades.

Good head with wrinkle and well defined stop. Well positioned dark eyes. Black nose with wide open nostrils. Good width of foreface. Well padded cheeks. Sour expression. Bit shorter in the neck than 1st. Great shoulder angulation and placement. Deep forechest and brisket. Super bone to forelegs.

Would of liked a little more length of leg to give a squarer front. Better ribbed than 1st with propper barrel. Correct topline when viewed from side and pear shaped body when viewed from above. Excellent rear with required angulation. Good freemoving tail and set .Prefered front movement of 1st,

Non the less another male with a bright future. RESERVE BEST DOG.

3rd Allens Ranfire all about Christian.

PUPPY BITCH 1-0 abs.

1st Hill's Imperious Cleopatra.

6 and half month old. 1st time at a show and took it all in her stride. Feminine red and white puppy with a lot to like. Good strong head for 1 so young. Good ears and set. Well placed dark eyes. Excellent pigmentation. Straight bone to forelegs. Lovely forechest and deep brisket. Great reach and length of neck. This girl has excellent rib. Good topline when settled. Correct tail and set. Nice rear with good angulation. Moved really well for a baby. Little bit of a wriggle in the challenge BUT it was a long day for 1 so young. BEST BITCH and BEST PUPPY.

Wilkinson's Andlare Hoo Ha.

12 month old red and white bitch. Litter sister to BOB. Good nose and nostrils. Dark eyes. Ok front with good brisket. A bit longer set in the back. Ok tail. Little nervy to go over but moved ok

POST GRAD BITCH.1-0 abs

Mayo's Triarder a bitaposh.

White and red bitch 2 years old. Correct rose ears. Good dark eyes. Pleasing front to neat feet. Nicely ribbed up body with excellent roached topline. Good tail and set.

OPEN BITCH 2

Mayo's Dajomi Fair young maiden at Gasholi.

White and red bitch. Great skull. Good thin rose ears well set. Wide open nostrils. Nice padded foreface. Nice to see dewlap. Square front. Neat feet upon strong pasterns. Little straight in topline but keeps it on the move. RESERVE BEST BITCH.
