I would like to thank Secretary Paul Harding and the rest of the Manchester Committee for inviting me to judge the Boxers and congratulate them on an excellent first 'All Breed Championship show'. I was delighted with my entry and heartened by the very low number of absentees on the day.

1st: 7549 BROWN, Miss J & HUTCHINGS Mr T Winuwuk Wonderwall - Appealing head and expression, good reach of neck, square in profile and with a strong top line. Balanced angulation front and rear and with a good fore chest. Won the class on his movement which appeared parallel from behind and ground covering in profile. Very nice prospect. 

2nd: 7543 BREAKSPEAR Mr G & Mrs C Porth The Pearl Pirate - Smart youngster with a good head, nice dark eye and well set ears. Good front and top line and displayed excellent overall balance. Another nice prospect.

1st: 7573 GRIFFITHS Mr M Lanfrese Argento - For me an outstanding youngster with an excellent head, good cheek and chin, well set dark eye, and good reach of neck. Already displaying power through his shoulders, excellent angulation and a strong top line with good tail set and carriage. Good bone, correct pasterns and well knuckled up feet. Absolutely sound on the move with a languid ground covering gait.

2nd: 7539 BEARDSELL, Mrs C & VAN-BECK, Mrs V & TAYLOR Mrs Newlaithe Quintillion - Another nice puppy, not quite as 'forward' at this stage as 1 but good head, balanced angulation correct fore chest and absolutely sound on the move. Well handled and presented.

3rd: 7657 VANSTON Mrs D & Mr R Vandenrob Instant Impact

2nd: 7568 EVANS Miss S E Rocvilla Chances Secret - Good head, well arched neck set on strong shoulders. Good angulation fore and aft but not quite as tidy on the move as 1 but nevertheless a generally sound ground covering gait.

1st: 7606 MAIR, Mrs J & MAIR Misses L & S Glenauld Geordie Shore - I preferred the overall outline of 1. Good front, fore chest and balanced angulation. Masculine head, correct bone, well angled pasterns and correct feet. Easy ground covering gait.

2nd: 7550 BROWN, Miss J & HUTCHINGS Mr T Winuwuk In The Name Of Lust (ai) - This chap was a little unsettled on the day but possesses a good head, strong shoulder and correct top line. Sound ground covering gait and overall is a nice youngster.

3rd: 7540 BEARDSELL, Mrs C & VAN-BECK Mrs V Newlaithe Diddle On

2nd: 7590 JONES, Mr J & CHARLES, Miss E A & JAMES Mr M Charlons First Time With Maromad JW - Not quite the overall proportions of 1 but a good front, correct bone and tidy feet. Good ground covering gait. Well handled and presented. 

3rd: 7597 LOTT Ms S Britesparke Douglas Buglas

2nd: 7625 MURFIN, Miss C & RENSHAW-TURNER Mrs B Farvalley Dark Knight - Just not quite as tidy as 1 on the move but generally balanced and sound throughout. Good head, correct bone and a strong top line. Easy on the move.

3rd: 7596 LITTLEWOOD, Miss M A & BOWLER Mrs S J Olleyville Stanley Man At Whirlobox

1st: 7617 MILLER Mrs Y C & Mr W G Ch Walkon Big Star JW - A clear winner of the class on the day, super standard fitting masculine head, well padded lips and good chin. Good reach of neck and well set powerful shoulders, excellent balance and very good angulation. Light footed ground covering gait. I hope he retains his youth for some time to come.

2nd: 7570 GRIFFITHS Mr M Ch Lanfrese Ocolardo - An impressive 6 year old with a strong masculine standard fitting head and when viewed in profile he displays balance and power throughout. However on the day he was a little loose behind on the out and back. That said an absolute credit to the Breed.

1st: 7635 PEARCE, Mr G & FRANCIS Mr D Longsdale's Heart Of Gold - In a class of nice minor puppies this exhibit won on her overall balance and tidy movement. Good head, nice reach of neck and balanced angulation. Easy ground covering gait. Well handled and presented. 

2nd: 7651 STEWART Mrs J P Longsdale's Catching Dreams for Boxyjen - Another nice puppy with an appealing head and good overall proportions. Absolutely sound on the move. Nice prospect. 

3rd: 7584 JONES Mr & Mrs K & G Kevanor Hot Gossip

2nd: 7610 MAIR, Mrs J & MAIR Misses L & S Vandenrob Vanessa Via Glenauld - Another nice youngster with a little more length in the mid back than 1 but a good reach of neck strong top line and a good tail set and carriage. Sound on the move.

3rd: 7534 BEARDSELL & VAN-BECK, Mesdames C & V & ONEILL Mis Newlaithe Just Meghan

1st: 7578 HUCKERBY, Mrs S & DOWELL Mr G Norwilbeck Bellchime By Chance - In my view this is one to watch - a slow 'maturer' with an excellent head and expression, good reach of neck, nice fore chest, excellent angulation, square in profile, correct tail set and carriage and the easiest of light footed ground covering gaits. Yet she appears still a puppy. 

2nd: 7552 BROWN, Miss J & HUTCHINGS Mr T Winuwuk Looking For Love (ai) - Additional back length than 1 but a very nice feminine head and expression, good front, balanced angulation and an easy, sound ground covering gait.

2nd: 7542 BEARDSELL, Mrs C & VAN-BECK Mrs V Newlaithe Wandara - Another quality bitch, excellent in profile, good reach of neck, good shoulder and complementary rear angulation. Good bone well knuckled feet. Good ground covering gait in profile but a little untidy on the out and back.

Good two year old prospect, excellent when viewed in profile with good angulation, strong top line and nice tail set and carriage. Good feet and pasterns and won the class on her superior movement. Well handled and presented. 

2nd: 7627 MURFIN, Miss C & RENSHAW-TURNER Mrs B Farvalley Shooting Star - A little longer in back than 1 but in good overall proportion and otherwise balanced throughout. Good shoulder sufficient turn of stifle, and a good depth of chest. Easy ground covering sound gait.

3rd: 7546 BROOKS, Mrs W & BROOKS Miss S L Jetboom Juicy Gossip About Jinnybrux (Imp)

2nd: 7623 MURFIN Miss C Farvalley Instant Love - Just preferred the profile of 1 but this is another well proportioned bitch displaying balance and quality. Sound ground covering gait.

Balanced throughout, she still displays the appearance of a junior in some respects and may well continue to mature. Easy ground covering and absolutely sound gait. 

2nd: 7554 BROWN, Miss J & HUTCHINGS Mr T Winuwuk Brief Affair (ai) - Another quality bitch, well angulated front and rear and she certainly moved to advantage. Not quite the overall profile of 1 but she was a little unsettled on the day. Nice prospect and well handled and presented.
