We were very fortunate to have a large carpeted ring inside the brick Severn Hall although it did take a few of the puppies a short time to avoid jumping over the black tape in a typical Beagle puppy form.   All the dogs had good mouths  -At this time of year and the recent weather some dogs were not in the best of coat.  I did see some youngsters with slightly untypical heads with more frown than the standard calls for and spoiling their overall expression.

2nd     BARRVALE GANYMEDE (MRS V M DAVIES) Compact tri with excellent bone.   Good length of neck, level topline,  stern carriage excellent and moved with drive.  Head has good stop and without frown but not quite the typical expression of winner.

4yr old who I’d given the reserve CC last time I judged.   She is very feminine with a great outline and flows round the ring.  Lovely head and expression and not over done in any way.  She has a very good length of neck, level topline and lovely stern carriage.  With correct angulation her movement is a pleasure to watch.  Bitch CC

2nd     CH MOLESEND SECRET JW (MR M W & MRS J S GOLDBERG)

19month old T&W with so much to like about her.    Typical head and  soft expression and good depth of chest.   Perhaps a little longer in back than the winner but carries her stern well and moved soundly.  Res CC.
